I've been shopping at this Kroger for years now. Not sure if they just got a new sushi chef but the sushi lately has been amazing!

The meat selection is pretty weak sauce though and I don't go here to buy a lot of my meat.

I went shopping today for a few items I was going to need for tonight's dinner. One of the items…read morewas Parsley a very common thing to have available at a big store like Tomb Thumb. It happens the produce person was present stocking and I approached him to ask him where could I find Parsley besides the ORGANIC section, when he said we only carry organic for parsley I then asked if they had the Italian parsley when he very unhappily walked over and pointed at it. He was very impatient and was not very helpful. I'm a senior citizen and feel that lately we've become a pain to these so called employees if we even have a question. Don't get me started on their 'Digital' coupons that don't register when using the self serve checkout. I'm not saying everyone at this particular store is a grump, but someone needs to talk to this specific 6 footer, bearded produce person on what his job is about. TomThumb get your act together and have other options besides organic as most of us can't afford the difference in price.

I asked for recommendations and she suggested I try some sliced maple turkey.GREAT SUGGESTION. I also got some fried chicken tenders that were kind of buffalo style. ! DELICIOUS! So ask for her when you go. She will get you what you want for sure. The ambience was typical clean, fresh food and large selection.

How to shop at Central Market? Make a list otherwise it's so easy to pick up so many extras. This…read morereview is about my favorites at Central Market. I am here for the produce, mostly! Everything is fresh and in abundance. They have these cherry tomatoes called "Flavor Bombs" and are so good and sweet. Plus all the fresh herbs are amazing. Sometimes I shop here just for the produce. You can take a shortcut through the doorway into self-service coffee, nuts, candy and spices or continue to Seafood and Meats. My favorite in seafood is the Lobster in the tank and only when it's a special occasion And in the meat area, I like their pork chops, ground pork, and large hamburger patties. In the middle store I like their olive oils, with so many choices but my favorite is the Central Market Sicilian flavor. Now for the cheese and dairy my go to butter is the La Gall French Butter, so good. We like their fresh baked breads especially the Sour Dough and Naan. Near Checkout you will beautiful flowers that are fresh with so many choices. Until next visit!!! Shop Central Market!

This is my go-to grocery store for just about everything. They consistently have what I need, and…read morethe quality of their produce and meat is exceptional. The freshness and selection always exceed expectations. Coming from New England, I'm extremely picky about seafood, and this is the only place in the area where I'll buy it. That says a lot about their quality and standards. Crowds can be intense on Saturdays and Sundays, especially around the produce and meat sections. It feels like being packed in with sardines (lol pun), but that's just a sign of how popular the store is. If you prefer a calmer shopping experience, I recommend going on weekdays or in the evenings. The staff is friendly and helpful. Once, while I was debating how a seasonal product might taste, an employee overheard me and offered to open a box so I could sample it. I was honestly surprised to learn that they'll open almost anything for you to try. I declined and bought it anyway, but that level of service really impressed me. I also love how Central Market leans into the seasons. Their themed décor changes throughout the year, adding charm and warmth from the entrance to the back of the store. One Christmas, a violinist was performing near the seafood counter. Shopping for dinner while listening to live holiday music was such a special touch and exactly the kind of experience that makes this place stand out. The only reason I'm deducting a star is for the restrooms near the wine and beer section. On the very rare occasion I've had to use them, they've been filthy and unpleasantly odorous. For a store that takes such pride in presentation and quality, the bathrooms fall short of their otherwise excellent standards. Despite that, Central Market remains one of my favorite grocery destinations; a place that truly elevates the everyday shopping experience.

They carry a well-edited array of mostly their own private label brands with a global perspective. You will always find something special here that's exciting! To keep things interesting, they have seasonal offerings that keep in step with the time of year. For example, be sure to grab one of their Gobbler Rolls with turkey, stuffing cranberry sauce and gravy... you will not be disappointed! That being said, sometime the products miss the mark, but there's way more hits than misses. Definitely try their Green Goddess Salad, Mini Oatmeal Cookies, Mac n' Cheese and their flavored yogurts. Some of the misses are snacks that are just too sweet like their cereal bars. But for the most part, the products are adventurous and quite good- especially at the very reasonable prices they charge. Something that really makes the TJ stand out is the amazing service. When I checked out, the cashier was so friendly and chatty, all the while paying special attention to detail when bagging my groceries. She was like a 3-D Tetris Master bagging groceries, and taking care to double bag. She had so much skill, and I really got the impression she loved her work. It made me realize the only place I ever have someone else bag my groceries is at Trader Joe's. Makes total sense because every time I've been to a TJ's regardless of location, the checkout experience is always exceptional. In today's grocery world, it's mostly self-checkout and Trader Joe's stands out to me as a company that knows their business and has a lot of integrity. Well done Trader Joe's. I appreciate the great value, bountiful array of quality food and the overall pleasantness of the shopping experience.

Trader Joe's has a pretty nice gluten free selection, although there's been some debate over just how gluten free their gluten free goodies are. TJ's is the place to get finished foods and snacks, it's not the place to shop if you have a family. It's great for if you live alone or only feed 2 people. They have all the latest food trends and high quality products. Prices are good. Service is excellent. Layout is good. Prices are good compared to California (home for me). It's quite small compared to other locations in California and Chicago where I spend most of my time in. It's a great compliment to Cox, Zion, Las Colinas for the specialized markets. HEB, Market Street and Tom Thumb for major grocers and Whole foods for the bougie health focused. I"m too much of a foodie to come here on a regular basis, but for those that don't want the fuss of cooking for themselves or others it's a great place with it's own place in the area despite Coppel being a family suburb.

Those I've had from my local Lynnwood store, as well as the 5 Cheese Greek Spiral . So good, only cook half or you'll eat the entire thing in one sitting, no judgement. Now what I love most about this store is the plant and foliage options. I was excited to visit this location, 120 S. Denton Tap Road, Coppell, TX 75019. It's located in a business center and thankfully on the day I visited had ample parking, nice and clean looking environment, surrounded by various shops that you may be able to get a lot of errands done in one spot. You do you! Upon entering the store, I realized that the layout is familiar and easy to navigate, I was immediately and to find the foliage that I came to see and bring home with me back to Washington state. I've been wanting a Pilea Peperomiodes and thankfully I looked long and deep on the shelving unit where the lower shelves are ignored, to my surprise there she was! Super excited about this find as it was my souvenir of my one and only trip to the state of Texas. I made my way to check out, I was fortunate enough to be greeted by Olivia, I really enjoy having a nice welcoming experience when I am making a purchase for the first time in a different, not new establishment, I appreciate the familiarity. Olivia was very awesome and I had to share with her that as a tradition when I buy plants from the person who rang my purchase, I name my plant after them. Her surprise response was priceless and brought me a lot of joy. So the of the two plants I purchased, one is Olivia and also a tribute to Olivia Newton-John and my friend Bob. He wanted a plant from my trip as well.
