Just left this store. No grocery carts in the store and no hand baskets. I walked around the store looking for hand baskets thinking they must be in use. Nope--I only saw two people with them. Went to use the bathroom and the men and women's restroom were absolutely filthy! I mean I can see they are having some sewage issues , but that however does not explain the Poo all inside and around the toilet seat! Come on Kroger! Step up your game! This store is awful, I promise that if you make a grocery list they will be out of at least two things you need every time. The kicker is, those things won't be back in stock for 3-5 weeks at least (and it has been this way for years). Also if I had a dollar for every moldy, rotten, fly covered piece of produce I have seen sitting out for sale I would be able to buy this location. The pharmacy is somehow even worse, constantly messing up prescriptions, not filling things on time, giving incorrect amounts of medication, and lying to you about what they have done/are doing to rectify issues. This isn't ordering a cake and them getting it woefully wrong, it is medication! They're going to kill someone if they don't get shut down first! I usually like Kroger, but this is hands down the worst stocked, most poorly run location I have ever been to. read more

This review is for the Pharmacy: THEY DO NOT HAVE THE VACCINE despite what their website says. If you signed up, or will be signing up, to get the COVID vaccine for April 13-17, THEY DO NOT HAVE IT - they do not have it in stock. I signed my father up to get the vaccine for today (4/13) at 1:30pm through their website and when he showed up for his appointment, he was turned away. He was told that they have none available. He called me afterwards asking why I would schedule him to receive one if Kroger doesn't have it. This prompted me to call the Pharmacy. After 10 minutes of holding, a tech confirmed that the website is incorrect and shouldn't have allowed us to make an appointment. The tech also confirmed that Kroger will receive the vaccine next week. I received two emails from Kroger confirming the appointment, which reiterated the time/date and provided instructions on what to bring and do. I don't understand how or why Kroger's website would advertise they have the COVID vaccine when in reality, they don't have it. My father needs this life saving vaccine, as do other people. Kroger has taken a significant responsibility by being a vaccine distributor. They have defaulted on that responsibility and harmed public health as a result. read more

The manager here is rude. I'm not sure if they were short staffed today but he was working the fresh seafood area. I had to stand there until he was done playing on his phone and stocking shelves before he acknowledged me. Then when he did finally ask me what I needed help with, he proceeded to refuse to help me. I then went to the register to ask for the manager and that's when I was told he was the manager. I have called corporate and escalated the issue because if you do not want to work then stay home. I also would have left all those groceries to be put back but that would not have been fair to the other employees he would have made do it so I just politely paid for my groceries and left. Little disappointed in the service they offer during the day. I have been here a few times on this trip but was surprised on the service of the baggers. I was next in line and the couple in front of me had a issue with the pricing on their produce. There was the cashier and two baggers standing there. The cashier attempted to say this is always the price but the women clearly disagreed with the sign she saw. The cashier turns to one of the baggers and said "you work in that department go check" and he replied " no I am not going to do it and walked off" What the heck? The other guy just laughed and finally the husband just said forget it. They only had 1 checker working during the after work rush. There was an extremely long line waiting. They said they were opening another line and moved several people out of the long line. They then said they weren't opening another line but we had all lost our place in the first line by that time. They were not apologetic at all, as a matter of fact they were extremely rude about their mistake. They tried to charge full price for items that were on-sale and even tried ringing up my spiral cut ham twice. Watch the checkers or get taken advantage of. read more

This store is horrible. Probably the worst grocery store I've ever been in. Very embarrassing to have such a poorly ran grocery store in our community. When I walked in they had no grocery carts. I had to walk back outside to the parking lot to find a cart. Then I go back into the store to shop for my few items. Once I was ready to check out it became very clear to me that it was going to take over an hour to check out. The lines extended all the way to the back of the store. I politely left my cart in line and walked out. I will never give this grocery another dime. Poor management and they are doing nothing to make this grocery store any better. Took my two teens here for a COVID Vaccine. Most of the staff was friendly and welcoming, but I found that you are not allowed to ask questions to Paige the pharmacy technician (assistant manager). Since I used the government issued website to find a vaccine location that was not so formal looking like where I received my vaccine, I was under the impression free meant free as mine and several other family members. When I arrived I was asked to present my insurance card. I asked what was the charge for and the lady who was checking us in didn't exactly know. I asked for some documentation of the charge because there are certain things everyone should know when using insurance including who's in and out of network. I simply needed to know if this was still a good fit or if I needed to choose another company or location. The pharmacy tech comes from the back asking is there a pro or what's the question. I begin to ask her the same question and she immediately starts showing attitude (rolling eyes, avoiding contact) like she did t want to be bothered. I never got my question answered because she was just too rude in font of my kids, her staff, and other customers. She finally told the employee she was finishing our papers she can show her card if she wants or not. It's no cost to you she said from afar it's free to you. So I told her I pay a premium and I care what my insurance comps is charged and what I'm balance billed. I showed my card and was told to wait 30 minutes while the vaccine thawed out. I have a toddler hence why I booked an early appointment. The very first appointment was 9 am. I was there at 8:45 we patiently waited until open. After a while, a family who checked in behind me was called in and given their vaccines. I asked a lady working at the pharmacy register if there was a manager present. At the time I had no idea this was the manager that was being rude and inconsiderate. Another lady told me that Paige was the manage, I was floored. Then, Paige storms out of the separated room with the family and asks "Is there a problem " at this point she was rude and hostile. She rolls her eyes and told me that you do understand appointments don't you (implying that I'm dumb) I told her yes and we checked in ahead of the other family. I was trying to be discrete and not offend the other family. I felt like if she was petty enough to make us wait longer because of the first question I had I didn't want her handling my already nervous children. She told me she was trying to be professional with me and I feel like she came out and yelled like we were having a street fight. She told me the family had been there since 8:30. Two things... you opened at 9, if you were here at 8:30 why is the vaccine still frozen. I asked if there was anyone else shopping that needed to go ahead of us. I have never seen a manager behave in such a manner and I asked if someone else was there to do my kids vaccines. The way she carried on I no longer trusted her. I ended up asking for another employee to stand and watch. I didn't want her to hurt them because she was upset with me. Horrible experience indeed!! We have to go back for dose 2. I'm praying she is off that day or at least having a better day for the sake of other vaccine needing people. It's sad that we are encouraged to take a vaccine just to deal with rude administrators. read more

Just got into it with the no-name (wouldn't tell me his name, and didn't have a nametag on or a lab coat--he could be just anyone) pharmacy manager. But that's ok as I get home I see there was a data breach at their store and most probably at the pharmacy. The pharmacy manager says they won't fill my prescriptions anymore cause I was rude--in his opinion. That's great because when I ask a pharmacy the same question twice and he cannot answer it. I need to look for a pharmacy that hires honest, competent, and service-minded pharmacists and employees. I guess the pharmacist feels justified, but that's ok, my doctor appointment is tomorrow and I'll get another pharmacy to fill the new prescription. read more

The worst experience ever with the pharmacy manager Kiethan!!! What I asked him why they told me my prescription would be filled at 2:30 pm and it's more 8:30 pm and they said they don't even have my medicine they have to order it? But , I were supposed to be already ordering by Tuesday because that's when I go to the doctor and have my prescription sent over, it's now 3 days and 6 hours later and when I pointed this out and told him how unprofessional it was he said he wasn't going to fill it at all. I'm calling 1800 Kroger and I'm going to keep calling everyday until something is done about Kiethan and him being so unprofessional. I honestly do not see how he can be a manager at all with this attitude, you do not take your hard day out on your customers! You smile and give your customers the courtesy that they deserve! I went there today to get my tag for my car. The lady at the front said that the system was down but tried it again and it work. Thanks for that because today was the last day. Then as I was about to walk out I saw that another lady was putting out some roasted chicken. I got it home to cut it up- you know you have to taste it as you cut it up- it was so good. This is a terrible store. Whenever I shop there it seems like they never have the sale items stocked up enough.

My only complaint is they never have enough cashiers but that seems to be the way to do business these days, every company is trying to save money. Of course that is at the cost of the customers. I will say that everyone at the pharmacy is super friendly and professional. The employees are nice too I just wish there were more of them on the registers. read more

The Krogers in DeSoto tried to charge me $40 over. Checker was rude and inconsiderate. I had pre-ordered all my groceries on the Kroger's app. Since I was already in the area I decided not to get my groceries delivered. The total some of my groceries plus delivery was $55. 62 . That's using Digital Coupons off their app and their sales ad unfortunately my husband blood pressure had dropped and was having chest pain. In a hurry I went to the express line. When I realized that I had gone in the wrong checkout line I apologize to the people behind me and the checker and explain the situation. That is when her attitude became apparent each time that I proved her wrong. She became more rude. Okay I might have gotten a little frustrated. Despite being a bit of an older store, this Kroger is well stocked and well maintained. Employees are very approachable and willing to help when you are in their area and look lost. While a bit out of my way, I would shop at this Kroger in the future if I were in the neighborhood. read more

A woman from the bakery came to talk to my 3(!) kids and offer them cookies. The store may be a little older than normal, but it's well taken care of.
