They always run out of everything good, and don't bother replacing the things they consistently run out of. It boggles my mind. The staff is friendly and helpful, so I will give them that, but it's more to do with the way they don't restock their merchandise. We've been going to Kroger Pharmecy for years for the convenience. Over the years our family has been treated rudely by staff members at this pharmacy. The last straw for me was when I called for my husband to pick up his medication a day earlier, due to it being memorial weekend and us traveling. left message with our doctor for early refill and the Kroger pharmacist herself spoke to our doctors office with an untrue snarky comment "about how we've asked for early refills a couple of times now". Which is completely untrue and verified this by the fill in pharmacist when I had them look up the information in their system. When I asked the pharmacist directly about this she said, "that they must have misunderstood her". She Didn't apologize, nor asked to correct that misunderstanding with our doctors office. She acted like she didn't care at all and acted bothered by my call altogether. I stated we are going to be taking our business elsewhere and she was like, "ok". Not at all professional. Please do yourself a favor and don't use this uncaring pharmacist. World is to short for unkind people. read more

We recently moved from the West side of Coppell to just a few blocks from Kroger. Honestly, I was not excited about the prospect of learning a new grocery store (why can't they all just be organized the same way, right?!), but no longer had any excuse not to shop at Kroger. Their prices are the best in town, right?! Well, I was so glad I took the plunge. The transition was smooth, with super friendly and helpful staff along the way. My grocery store of choice. Whenever I go to Walmart down the road, I always end up wishing I had come here. Pretty good prices and a wide selection of produce, vegetables and brands. Bakery and Deli are great. Wide selections of wine and beer. The butchers are friendly and answer all my stupid questions about meat. Been shopping here for 12 years, today cured me for good. I don't have to mention the fact that there was a recent re-org of the store and no one can find anything. Things are no longer grouped together where they've always been and what makes logical sense...the new store just sucks. What I want to mention is the lack of compassion for Kroger employees that continues from Kroger. I was assisted today by a woman I have been assisted by hundreds of times- she must be in her late 60s- at the register. I know she recently had surgery as I saw her only a few weeks ago at another establishment and recognized her. She is already back at work way sooner than she needs to be. This is not the problem- but what is a HUGE problem is that she was checking out my groceries and bagging them and no one around to help her with multiple people waiting in line. When I walked out of the store, not 1, but THREE Kroger employees (including a store MANAGER- you know who you are) were standing/sitting at the front on the scooters near the doors shooting the breeze and doing nothing. This is so unacceptable at so many levels. I'm done Kroger- and I'm telling all the Coppell neighbors this story. Shame on you. Despicable. read more

I went to check out today in a self check out lane (big mistake) i had items that would not scan then it would not let me use my debit card as a credit card without a checker doing it for me. Many moons ago I visited this store. They seem to be upgrading at that time. Hence I decided to check it out on Monday. The new layout is very appealing and customer friendly. Lot of new additions in the bakery and salad bar. The bread isle contains a large selection compared to any other grocery store in that area. The alcohol section is very narrow (especially the wine section). The Flower and bouquet section contains more choices. Also there are more lanes for both self checkout and staff checkout. The candy section and pharmacy sections have been expanded as well. Besides the 10cents per gallon on $100 purchase can attract more customers since the shell gas station to redeem the gas credit is located on the same street. read more

Very clean and well laid out. While I usually shop at the Kroger in Las Colinas, I have found this place to have fresher produce and a little more variety in their selection of Fruits, Veggies, organic produce, beers , wines etc. If you are in the area then the Kroger seems to be better compare to the Tom-Thumb which is a block away on McArthur and Beltline. read more

This Kroger is top notch. Great selection of bread crumbs and salad mixes. The frozen isle offered lots of gluten free options. I really took a fancy to the frozen strawberries. The meat department had a nice variety of options, from chops to thin sliced loin cuts. The steaks are top notch and always have something on sale. When I went to get my sliced chicken June sliced it just how I like. The produce section had a wonderful spread of organic choices. And oh my the fresh orange juice from the juice bar was totally to die for! This is now my go to market! read more

All good except people in the bakery, sometimes Janitor becomes baker, and acts like janitor, had to wait 10mins before he shows up, all excuses why he cannot sell the cake i want, because he didn't have a box to pack small cake, with some haggling he packed the cake, did very poor job, some people at retail outlets are just warm bodies collecting pay checks. read more

They have now upset me more. Never again.....they have now hit my car with a cart while I sat in it to load coupons and they kept walking no apology! Today they made a stink about at .65 cent coupon. It's not the money but the principal. To go back through my bags and because it was not pre package meat it was from the meat department, they would not take it. Unbelievable!!!! read more

I just moved here and I love this store. They have reasonable prices and good sales as well. I recently realized that you can buy cooked food in the deli that tastes just like restaurant food for only $6.00 a plate! I will be eating there often because it was fabulous! read more

Miserable shopping experience. Aisles are narrow and dark. Store is out of our staples. The empty shelves are marked with the items I need. I have been patiently going back several times a week for almost a month in an effort to give the store a chance. I have talked with several store employees and management. All have assured me the product will be on the shelves. Very frustrating because I had enjoyed shopping in our community and now have to go elsewhere. read more

Lots of complaints on FB about lack of product and poor service. Love the pricing but apparent shortages of staff (may be due to low salaries) are leaving shoppers with no product to choose from. Lots of empty shelves and the rumor is flying that this store is closing. Not good. read more

Went to customer service to exchange some products that I had bought. Waited there for over 5 minutes, before anyone showed up. CSR comes to the counter, no apologies. Takes my stuff. I inquire, will you be here when I come back with the stuff I want, he nods and says, 'yes'. Guess what? I come back - no one attending the desk at customer service. I think the top manager was there too, but was not concerned that the customer service place was unmanned very often. read more

On two different occasions, I have requested of the store mgr. that the LARGE size of LITE "- "I can't believe it's not Butter!" be stocked. The store carries the small containers which are packaged in twos but more expensive per quantity. The mgr. states that it would be a special order to carry. The first request was acknowledged and stocked. It must have been a one-time thing because since then I have not been able to buy it there. My second inquiry/request has not been acknowledged nor have I received the phone call which the mgr. said he would make to me. If the "regular" container of this butter is carried - why not the LITE? Other people besides myself purchase the healthier of the two product types. It's not like it will be sitting on the cooler shelf and go bad. read more

I want to share the horrible experience I had visiting their Pharmacy. I came in around 5:30 PM with RX and was waited by Kathy Morrison, one of the employees. I had to wait for several minutes while she was just staring at her computer monitor. When she finally was ready to help me, I gave her my RX and ask her to CHECK if they have my name in the system and also if they have the medicine I need. She checked on these (I thought that is what she was doing by staring at her screen again) and then she said "Yes, we have it here is stock". I said I will pick it up in 1 hrs. When I returned, same person who exepted my RX Kathy Morrison said "We dont have the item you need. I paged you when you left". Oh well, I guess I was supposed to hang out there next to her to make sure when she checks for my medicine again and it disappeared for some reason, I will be notified by her paging. I waisted 1.5hrs of my time because of her and I need her manager, Kathleen Land to discipline. The service she provide to the customer is unexaptable! I would never go back to that pharmacy! read more

Although the store employees are generally very friendly and helpful, the pharmacy employees and the pharmacy procedures are terrible. I refill a prescription every month at this pharmacy. This prescription requires Kroger to get authorization from my physician. About half the time this works, but the other half of the time my physician never gets any call or contact from the store pharmacy, which requires me to call the pharmacy repeatedly, over many days requesting that they please resend the request to my doctor. The pharmacy employees seem apathetic and unfriendly when I am REPEATEDLY having to call them back to check on the refill. It is a big waste of my time and very frustrating. Most of the time my prescription has completely run out before I can get them to refill it. In addition, the automated voice system in the pharmacy only works half the time. Very unpleasant pharmacy experience. read more
