I had always been intimidated by the crazy looks of this parking lot as I drive by at least 3x a week. I was invited to meet some colleagues here at the Starbucks cafe and once I did I was blown away by how big and nice this store is on the inside! There is so much selection and the store itself seems easy to navigate. There is a nice Murrays Cheese shop too! The floral section was large and fully stocked for Mothers Day. Even outside had an impressive selection of seasonal plants and outdoor furniture. I will now certainly come back here when a Kroger trip is necessary after work! read more

I have been a loyal Kroger customer for decades. They seem to be going downhill by being more interested in trickery than customer service. Digital coupons are worthless when they're there is no WiFi service in stores. I hate having to depend on digital coupons than straight sales. I don't want to have to scan QR codes to get my discount. Employees seem unknowledgeable when requesting assistance. I tire of stores l being set up differently at different locations. I don't want to have to go to the front of the store to get mediocre service. I often give up finding items because of the irritation of location differences between stores and the difficulty finding a knowledgeable employee. Kroger used to be my go to but I'm having to rethink my loyalty. read more

PLEASE stop playing security over your intercom when I spend $50-$200 every time I come in!!! Great store but the security messages that come on every so often make for a Very unwelcoming shopping experience. As a person who shops here a lot and tend to get anxiety in stores this is just the worst thing you can do to customers that shop here a lot. I can be indecisive and linger when I'm deciding what to buy. This Does Not mean a person is a shoplifter. Instead of treating customers with unnecessary suspicion how about some customer service with your employees actually trying to help when we're deciding to buy something. I used their bigger self check out lane and an older lady who was in charge of helping the self check outs kept telling me I was doing things wrong, and then told me to bag my own items to clear the conveyor several times and while BAGGING MY OWN GROCERIES LIKE SHE TOLD ME TO she reminded me to pay like I wasn't planning on doing so. If she was so concerned about clearing the conveyor then why not offer assistance? I told her I was sorry for being an inconvenience and that I'll never do that larger self check out again. I love the staff there at harpers point Krogers! And I want to mention this that one of the staff guys that works there, named Eric Werner (I think) is someone I know cuz he's one of our neighbors' son & he's extremely friendly & he does the self checking out lane job well! He is very attentive & very engaging to the customers & to me! He recognizes me as one of his neighbors too! So if anyone who's his boss that reads this please promote him because he does his job well & is able to multitask well! Next, I love that the staff dont have to wear those ugly uniforms anymore & black shoes either! They just wear what they want! So lucky! Wish more jobs were like this! I do get mistaken as a staff sometimes cuz customers will ask me where such and such is. I'll be like I'm not sure or sometimes I'll be like it's in aisle 5 for example. Would like to suggest something for Krogers though. Most of the service here is amazing. The last time I was here I was a few cents short on my drink and snack. One of the employees went to the cashier checkouts and grabbed the few cents I was short of. When I come here it's not noisy, it's normally quiet and listening to music in your device at a decent volume. Most of the times I've been here have been very great service. The only thing that has made me pit four starts on this review is when I've bought some oranges they were moldy. So if you want good quality service and food! This is a review of the floral department! The flowers are beautiful, they last for over a week and one of the floral employees was so helpful in a stressful situation, and I think it speaks to the overall attitude of the department. I've purchased flowers from this particular Kroger many times over the past 8 years. They are consistently high quality blooms and greens. Their bulk offerings always look good and their arrangements are lovely, they have good everyday choices and also usually have fun seasonal choices as well. And this will be my go to for pick up of flowers in Cincinnati from now on because they helped save the day for my daughter's wedding. Service over and above on a Saturday, the person even made a short video for us to teach us how to do something, helping to fix a problem that they did not create has made me loyal for life. And since their plant material is always good quality I have no concerns that I'd be disappointed with the stock. So if you're ever near Harper's Point and need flowers this is the place! read more

I love this Kroger for their selection (compared to the Olde Montgomery location, which is a joke), but I'm going to ding them on 2 things. 1. They have a fantastic bar. I wish I knew what it was like to drink at it, because IT'S NEVER OPEN!! Seriously. Aside from the occasionally intermittent wine tastings, the only way you're getting a beer at this place is if you buy it from the beer aisle. 2. The side entrance, which doubles as the employee lounge. Nothing like dodging a cloud of cigarette smoke right outside the door of the building as entering or exiting the facility. Employees should be told to stay away from right outside the door when smoking, not lingering where I have to hold my breath when walking in the door. I've been unimpressed by their customer service for years, but this Saturday was the perfect example of what's wrong- you aren't concerned whatsoever with your customers. Shopped Saturday am- bought two half gallons of organic milk. They were spoiled- so I came in at 7:45 am on Sunday. I was told three different times the customer service didn't open until 8 which I kindly asked for a manager to exchange my spoiled milk. Funny story- the manager (sat. 4/3- black hair, black nails, bad attitude... you know who you are) finally came and she was a b**** to me as well. I don't think this Kroger knows it's a grocery store. But don't tell it! Because it's awesome! Walking it, I felt pretty overwhelmed. This was my first trip since they leveled it and built it back up. I remember when thie was just an average, everyday Kroger, but it's far from ordinary now. It's kind of like having several mini-stores in one. The salad bars (yeah, there are two!), the guy making sushi, the hot deli, the cold deli, the bakery and the specialty baked goods and candies. Three stars - good vs bad. I shop here every two weeks and fill my cart for our family of five and dog. One week I was on the condiment aisle and witnessed a customer asking for help from an employee. The employee didn't just answer the elderly gentleman, she helped him find the items on the list his wife had sent him to the store for. Bravo! This past week I went in and did my usual shopping and made my way to the check out. I quickly noticed that there were 3-5 registers open, but only 1 bagger. The bagger was moving back and forth between registers. I called customer service while in line and asked for help. The manager on duty came out and bagged. If you only have 1 bagger, only have 1 register. The Terra Firma location doesn't usually have this problem. read more

This review is in regards to the PHARMACY at the Harper's Point Kroger. Every other experience I have had at this Kroger has been excellent. I am absolutely OUTRAGED by the service at this pharmacy. In particular, by an employee named Libby. I take a lot of prescriptions, so I frequent this pharmacy and have noticed a horrible pattern of behavior by this employee. Every single time I interact with Libby, I leave Kroger in an AWFUL mood. She has persistently behaved in a condescending and rude manner towards me and I am absolutely fed up with this. It's as if she thinks "I'm a pharmacist, I'm smarter than you and everyone else!" Well guess what Libby- I have been working in customer service for nearly 10 years. I may seem young and stupid to you but I'm 25 years old, hold a steady job, and know how to interact with people. So maybe you could learn a thing or two. Or ten. You work in a customer service based field, like it or not. You have patients coming in who NEED their prescriptions to feel better. I don't care if you don't want to be at work, I don't care if you hate dealing with people -- this is your job so put on a happy face and be an adult. Shape up or get out because this behavior is totally absurd and unacceptable!! Today I came in because I visited the little clinic and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. The pharmacy told me my prescription would take 20 minutes to fill, so I shopped around for a bit. I came back when I received a text that my prescription was filled and waited in line (I was first in line). The employees of the pharmacy, Libby included, kept me waiting for about 5 minutes before she stepped up to the counter. She didn't even say, "Can I help who's next?" after I was clearly in line and had been kept waiting. She made me poke my head out to make eye contact with her and finally rudely said, "Can I help you?" I stepped up and said, "I believe I have a prescription ready." And she just goes "For who....?" Like I'm some kind of moron... I said my name and was starting to get really irritated until she finally filled it and let me go on my way. Guess what, Libby? Your customer service SUCKS and if you ever want to be successful in life, you better learn how to interact with people. Especially people who aren't feeling well and just want to get their prescription, go home, and rest. Your entitled attitude is ridiculous. Pharmacy in Kroger on Terra Firma in Mason, OH 3 registers and a drive-through. ONE person "helping" customer and one pharmacist giving shots and filling prescriptions. Gave up after calling for over an hour for refills. Then, I can only pickup at 8am Sunday when the pharmacy opens, otherwise I can't stand in that line for too long. I'm really impressed with this store and the chain as a whole. Much like with Whole Foods they have separate sections within the store that feature home made: sushi, pizzas, bread, deli foods, soups and unlike Whole Foods they have a wine program. Every Friday 6-8pm and Saturday 1-4pm they have a wide variety of wines they present for us to try at a dollar a glass and reserve levels for 3 dollars a glass. This is a great way to patrons to try new wines and for the store to create alliances with their customer base. In sum NICE JOB! read more

This is my favorite Kroger in the area, since it's larger and has a great seafood selection. Now it has Eli's BBQ and Mazunte at the eat-in area!! Woohoo!! I came here with co-workers to enjoy Mazunte. The cook prepares the food and puts it in a eco-friendly (Yay!) container. You don't pay there but at the self-check area nearby. There's a water dispenser for the eat-in area, and you can move the tables around to accommodate a larger group, if needed. Of course, the Mazunte menu is more limited than their main location, but it is wonderful to enjoy their wonderful tacos and tamales at Kroger! They also have a refrigerated case nearby that they share with Eli's, where you can pick up guac, pico, or refrigerated tamales (among other items). We go to this Kroger (which is not the closest or most convenient - actually there are 3 other Krogers nearby). But this Krogers has wine tasting with a great buffet on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons. For $5 you will get a good buffet with good food. The chef there is great and they provide a cheese/fruit starter, at least 2 entrees often including high end options (e.g., salmon, New York Steak...), 2 appetizer options, and a great desert options (see photos). The wine is usually something sponsored by the wine distributor - so you get a flight that is from a particular winery. The cost for a 2 oz poor is $2.5/pour and the wines usually range from $15 to $30/bottle. This is very reasonable. If you don't like that specific winery you can order pours from a number of options they have (you should find something you will like). They also bring in live music and these folks are usually top notch. I listen to a lot of live bands and some of the ones I follow will end up at Krogers. We often take a bit of opportunity to do a little dancing. Finally, the manger (Bryan) is fantastic. He does all this and is there to talk to you and to make sure you get everything you need. I would make this my Krogers if it were closer to my home. Highly Recommended for the wine tasting. read more

One of the most impressive groceries I've every visited - I might like it even more than Fresh Market, Whole Foods, and definitely more than the Fresh Fare stores. It's just awesome. I went there for lunch about once/week when I worked nearby. They have 2 salad bars - a traditional one and a more gourmet bar. The gourmet bar includes items such as a curried chicken salad, cold italian pastas, homemade spinach salads, and more. It constantly changed also, which was nice for variety, since I ate there so often. There was also a sandwich bar, bakery, sushi counter (with fresh sushi being made to order), soup bar, hot bar, etc. After getting your tray and choosing your meal, there is a nice cafe with bright windows, a flat screen tv, roaring fireplace (!), and friendly Kroger employees keeping the place clean. The grocery also has a gourmet bakery (like as nice as real bakery), fine wines section, and much more. You have to experience it to appreciate it. Store is super clean, aisles are wide and well-laid out, employees are literally standing around ready to help you, and it just doesn't get much better than this. Grew up nearby, and I'm sad I no longer live or work close to this amazing store! read more

This place is wild! It's one of those upscale rich people grocery stores. They have a full beer and wine bar with Cincinnati beers on tap and some nights they even have a band! My boyfriend and I were joking that on the weekends they should do "shot o'clock" and have all the soccer mom's gather around to take a shot before continuing with their grocery shopping LOL. Anyway... they have a huge selection of everything you could possibly want at a fairly steep price. To be honest, we only shop here when it's on our parent's dime. But this place is awesome. This Kroger just had its Grand Re-Opening as a super fantastic ultra fancy Kroger. It's enormous. I dare say it's nicer than the Fresh Fare. They have a Murray's Cheese counter, natural foods section (finally!), burrito counter, large reserve wine section and boss meat and seafood section. I immediately saw ingredients that I haven't normally found at Kroger. Seitan and miso paste, to name a few. They've added indoor and outdoor eating areas for all of the salad bar, deli counter, pizza counter to-go selections. read more

The only thing I love about going to this Kroger is that it is close to my home. I pretty much hate everything else, because they are almost always out of what I'm looking for, don't carry it, or they have it and it's not fit to buy. I don't go to other Kroger stores, because this one is the one closest to my house, so I can't really say if all the organic produce is as bad a selection as at this store or if this store is just a winner in the loser department. I shop here frequently, but I am frequently frustrated by their lack of decent organic produce (the only kind I buy) and pretty much most other things at the store. There are new Kroger stores that are Glorious...and then there are old Kroger stores that are boring and terrible. This is one of the first kind. I had no idea they were going to re-make this store. I remember the old Kroger at Harpers Point, and it was just another one of those Kroger. Then...they closed. And, nearly everything around it closed as well. Well, 6 months later, there is a brand new Kroger. And, it's one of the fancy ones. It's got a bunch of new and fancy areas that I'll never eat. A sushi bar, a very fancy bakery..and everything else you could ever imagine. So, if you don't life by one of those delightful versions of a Kroger...check this one out. But I've noticed a sad decline in customer service. This Kroger has a beautiful bar area; and it would be a wonderful assest to this store IF you catch them open. The last two times I have vistied this location there wasn't an employee in site, in that area. The last time we were there, I stopped by "customer service" (that's going to mean something here in a sec..... and I was "greeted" by a woman who appears to have lost her ability to smile a long, long time ago. I asked if the tasting area was open and her response was, "I doubt we have enough people here to cover it but I'll check." We stood waiting for quite a while.....a long while. I stop at this Kroger because it is close to my work, plus it is a nice large store! This Kroger seems to have stability, unlike the Kroger in Lebanon, which changes at least once a year. The product selection here is nice. The produce selection area is quite large, they have a nice natural food selection and they have a Murray's Cheese counter. They just updated the Wine/liquor/beer area and the selection is really nice. I found everything I was looking for on this trip and the customer service here at this store is good as well! read more

This is my absolute favorite Kroger in Cincinnati. Yes, it is large and can be a bit overwhelming, but that's what you can expect when you get a selection that is at this store. It has the best inventory of all the Kroger stores I've been to. I personally love the large organic section. It's more than double the size of the other stores. Not only can you find organic food but also organic household products. If you find yourself wandering around looking for an item without success, grab an employee (if they haven't already stopped you to ask if you need help). My heart was a little bit broken today when I realized Harper's Station Kroger no longer has a gourmet bakery!! I'm sooooo disappointed & I can't understand why they got rid of it. It was so awesome to be able to pick up such beautiful pastries for special occasions or just because they were fabulous. I had to make my way over to Servatii (which I love also, by the way) but I will miss the Kroger bakery so much. I am a huge fan of this store. I eat lunch from here almost every day because it's fast, painless, and the variety of food available is astonishing. It's possible to eat here every day for a week and not have the same thing twice. The only thing keeping me from rating it five stars is, actually, probably unfair. It's such a pithy, personal reason that I almost hate to bring it up, but I will because in my mind I'm hoping some manager reads this and goes, "HEY! We can fix that!" The pre-packaged boars' head sandwiches are some of my favorite things to grab when I'm on the go. They have a good variety to choose from, the only problem is that each sandwich is wrapped in roughly 4-5 feet of clear packing tape. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you're stuck in your car trying to haul ass to a meeting you have in 10 minutes and you urgently need to shove a sandwich in your face hole, it's really frustrating to need scissors and swiss army knife in order to unpack it. While I appreciate the diligent staff's efforts to keep my sandwiches fresh, it would be so nice not to need an array of tools to get into them. The second issue I have is also really, really stupid. My favorite (FAVORITE) thing to eat for lunch are these little pinwheel sandwiches? I'm not sure what they're called... I've seen Lahvosh on them too. They're like... wrap sandwiches cut into circles. They are amazing. Only problem is that 95% of the time, they're only available in these huge 12 or 14 packs for like $10. I only need 4! Occasionally I'll go in and they'll have 4 packs made and on those days, I feel like the world is smiling on me. They're the first thing I look for when I go in every day and they can be hidden in a variety of places, which is also frustrating. Anyway, I'd love it if these things became a regular feature here. I promise, I'd eat the S&%! out of them. Anyway, despite 2 paragraphs of griping and #whitepeopleproblems, I just want to say that I love this Kroger. It's probably the single nicest Kroger I've been in across the country and I'm so grateful that it's close enough to my office to grab lunch here every day. This is my favorite place to go on the entire earth. When I am in Kroger, I feel as if I can do, buy, and be anything that I wish. The food is reasonably priced and I always leave the store with a smile on my face and I spring in my step; sometimes I'm even humming a tune. The workers are professional and quick when bagging my items and quick to share a smile. What brings such joy to my heart is the fact that some of the employees remember my name. That's really a great quality to have in a store. Also, their managers have a "manager special" where there is a hot-button item on sale each week! I am always quick to snag the fine meat, cheese or chips and feed them to myself and my family. There is so much more I could rave about at this Kroger location, but I'll leave the rest of the fine experiences up to those who have not yet visited this sacred land.
