And it has only been a couple hours since my first session. I came back home after this session to my sickly dog. I saw she had a service for pets on her website. I had texted her after my session: "Just thought I should let you know (and no rush or anything) but [my dog] has been shaking all day today in his back legs and lower back region He's had back problems before and the vet said they can only really act on emergencies just so worried for my baby." I have difficulty sitting down on the floor and they were kind enough to give me a chair to participate during the circle. Dr. Winnie is very warm and talented, she figured out the pain I am feeling and how it is related to other body and mind issues that I was experiencing. I started the session having a pain factor of 7/10, but after it I could say it lessened to a manageable 4/10. For anyone visiting, please ask for directions in advance as it was a bit confusing for me to find the entrance, but thankfully Dr. Winnie's staff was very responsive. This review is for informational purposes based on my own experience. Positives: Buddha Hands is a beautiful small studio space. Loretta is skilled in her healing work with her hands. I did feel more physically aligned in the days following treatment. I liked the hypnotherapy portion as well. On the other hand: Although my treatment (I requested Craniosacral Therapy) was supposed to last for one hour, I was in the studio for 2.5 hours. There was about 45 minutes of talk prior to the treatment that was unrelated to why I was there, about her personal interest in palm reading, and this was not conversation or questions about my situation. There was a lot of language about a creator, and she said that for the session she would be channeling the creator. After the hypnotherapy portion, she said that the creator told her to do reiki for me rather than CST. This sent my mindset into a not so positive place, as I felt confused why I wasn't receiving the treatment that I sought her out for. She told me to keep an open mind, so I received the treatment. It was nice but my mind wasn't in a great place. Afterward I asked her why she did reiki instead of CST and she answered that she had done CST in combination with reiki. I wish she had told me this beforehand; I think my mind would have been much more positive if I thought I was getting the treatment I asked for. She charged me the amount for CST, which is $40 more than reiki. I'm honestly still unsure of what type of treatment she exactly did for me. Thank you for your time.
