In January 2023 I…read morehired Suh Events to shoot something special -- my friend's 50th birthday party where he celebrated by playing bass in a band on stage for the first time. I made the mistake of paying Such Events their full fee up front. They came and shot the event, everything seemed fine. They followed up a few weeks later and said they were starting the editing process. Then they stopped contacting me. The first few times I checked in -- a month, 2 months later -- they said they were working on it. By the 3rd month, they stopped answering emails or calls. At the 4th month, my friend who'd had the party went and talked to them to make sure they were still working on the project. They said they'd had some personal issues get in the way, but they assured him they'd start working on it. It's now been over 6-months and they've stopped answering his calls or emails too. I know sometimes projects can take a long time to edit. But I'm sure in those cases the photographer stays in contact with the client, fully explains any issues, and works to agree on a later delivery date. They don't just stop communication and disappear. So at this point it just seems I made the mistake of hiring an illegitimate business, and the best I can hope for is to somehow, some way, at least receive the raw footage they shot since it's a once-in-a-lifetime memory, and they're the only ones who have it. This review is my last ditch effort to at least make that happen. Needless to say, I recommend not ever ever hiring Suh Events, unless you are ok never seeing the Event you hired them to shoot.

So she was running around trying to get all the pictures I had asked her to get. By this point, I was already completely dressed and my husband was already dressed as well. So she missed all of the shots of us getting ready and tried to have us remake them which looked completely unnatural and set up in the pictures. After we had the ceremony we wanted family pictures, she didn't give us ideas of how to stand or what to do, she had everyone in one big line for every picture. And she ended up leaving before we made our grand exit. We got our pictures back and I actually cried because of all the pictures she took, there were maybe 5 of my husband and I that actually looked good. They were heavily edited, blurry, out of focus, etc. Not only did she waste our money, she robbed us of the opportunity to have good pictures to keep forever of our day. She attempted to "fix" it, by asking my husband and I to get re dressed up to go take more pictures several weeks after our wedding. Your wedding day is absolutely not something that can be recreated, so we said no. I asked for the pictures to be returned to me unedited, in hopes they might be better, but she never sent them all to me. The ones she did return unedited were just as bad as the edited ones. She is a very nice person, but as a photographer I would never recommend her. I never write reviews but she ruined pictures of a day that only happens once, and months later it continues to upset me, so I very strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
