Gross and mediocre food... I'm not sure why they are called krispy rice when their crispy rice is not crispy. The avocado truffle crispy rice was old and soggy , The baked crab was alright, their crispy shrimp had so much rice on it and it felt so plastic we opened it to just eat the shrimp in it. The salmon was meh , super fishy smell . Basically 120 bucks down the drain for low quality fast food type sushi. I ordered edemame for my toddler that had fallen out of the bag , cold and they had just dumped salt over it . We def won't be back yikes The only thing that was good about the whole thing was the great presentation and napkin quality read more

Run, dont even try to come to this place. This place is haunted, it is hidden like an abandoned witch house. there was 1 chef and 2 employees and when I asked them for food, they said "Just wait, until we ready". I got food posininsing and just felt sick for that whole day. This food is the worse, how are they even in business? I feel embarrassed for going there. If you see this place run, dont look back. read more

Im literally EMBARRASSED i even ordered from this place..... this place is called krispy rice and all the "krispy rice" i ordered was literally RAW RICE, they didnt even fry it!!! Not only that but it took over an hour for my order and i ordered 1 combo and an extra handroll. Besides the food being absolutely horrific in terms of taste and quality, they messed my order up too and gave me the wrong items. UPDATE FROM LAST REVIEW; I just found out this place was the same place that was named Man vs FRIES. They were managed by a food truck management company named REEF. I ordered loaded curly fries well done, got a wrong food (delivery girl's mistake). The fries that I got, was nowhere near fresh! It was cold, greasy & soggy. I sense some scamming from them. So many other people got their badly made food & service for expensive price! ------------------------------ First time ordered sushi rolls from this place. The rolls were a little lose and not as tight as it supposed to. The rice was a little undercooked. Not too bad. Could be better & improved. Price was decent with good portions Packaging & presentation was cute! read more

Ordered for a late night snack. Didn't even read the reviews before placing the order. To be honest I was worried about what I will get. The food came in nice boxes, it was fresh, tasty, well arranged, had all the condiments. Not the best that I had, but definitely deserves 4 stars. Not a 1 star restaurant for sure! Thank you Krispy Rice! We enjoyed the food! read more

DO NOT ORDER! We ordered through Grubhub based on all of the well photographed and cute Instagram ads they have. What we received was truly offensive. The sushi looked as if it had been sitting out at room temp for hours if not days. Too scared of the fish, my husband and I each tried a cucumber roll which was 99% very sticky and old tasting rice. We didn't even try the sushi. I was so shocked at what we received. To boot, there were zero sauces, ginger, etc. I genuinely felt like we received someone's returned food or were the butt of a bad joke. read more

Decided to give them a try despite the bad reviews. Oh boy what a mistake! Here's our experience with a $200 order and a group of hungry people on a Saturday night gathering. 5:30 PM - order placed, we're hungry but excited 7:00 PM - our DoorDash driver told us that they ran out it rice. What sushi restaurant runs out if rice?! That's like Starbucks running out of coffee beans!! 7:30 PM - our driver told us they handed our order to another driver. 7:32 PM - our order is canceled. Party is over. Guess I'll have some left over potato salad for dinner. What a crappy, non Krispy Saturday night. read more

My experience was inline with the rest of the 1 star reviews here. I was excited that I found a restaurant that was specializing in crispy rice (my kids favorite sushi item). Great presentation on Grubhub with professional photos of the various combos and items. So I placed an order - $130 for three people. First, let's talk about crispy rice (the food). Every time I've ordered crispy rice from a sushi restaurant, what I got was a chunk of deep fried or baked white rice which becomes like a warm rice cake with a slightly browned crispy exterior. What Krispy Rice serves is a chunk of white rice that is just stiff - as if it's been left out over night. On top of that, the rice isn't even fully cooked. And what they put on top of it can't even be called sushi or fish. It seemed to be some kind of fish paste that was squeezed from a tube. My son couldn't even eat what he got. My daughter's edamame was partially frozen. My $9.50 two pieces of tuna sushi was very tiny and borderline spoiled and was served with rock hard white rice. The fried shrimp was passable. The baked crab rolls were weird. Please, if Krispy Rice is reading this, don't paste in one of your canned "we dropped the ball" responses. It's clear that you don't care given the amount of bad reviews over time. Either get your shit together or close down. You will eventually fade out without return business anyway. read more

This is one of the most abysmal delivery experiences I've ever had and it's not the delivery person's fault or even the app. Krispy Rice ignored my request (that was printed on their receipt attached to my bag!) to not include shellfish in the box I ordered. As you can guess, there was shellfish all over the box (shrimp and crab) tainting the other pieces in the order. On one hand, I'm kind of glad that it did, because the fish smelled awful and looked even worse. I'm sure I would have ended up vomiting had the order been correct. A simple cut salmon roll was missing and the side of edamame I ordered was frozen. Save yourself. Don't eat here or at any of their other locations (which also have awful reviews). I should have checked Yelp before ordering. read more

Worst decision I have made. Never spend your money here no matter how it looks in photos. They are deceiving. read more

THE REVIEWS ARE RIGHT, DO NOT ORDER! I ordered pickup on Uber Eats bc the images in the app made it look amazing. My husband went to pick up the order at the address listed in the all and called me to say it actually leads to a medical building....k, what?! After calling the business they told him to go to a food truck BEHIND the medical building. My husband knocked on the food truck (called Reef Kitchen) with no one inside. He saw two guys outside the truck talking, asked them for help and one of them opened the truck and a man inside handed him the order. My husband said it was super sketchy. As soon as we opened the boxes when he got home I knew (1) the order was really wrong and missing items and (2) the food smelled rank. The fish was not fresh, the edamame was frozen and the crispy rice smelled like plastic and the salmon nigiri was lumpy and it's rice was hard to the touch. BLECH! UberEats won't take calls for customer service but we won't give up until we get our money back. DO NOT ORDER!! read more

Ordered today $100 worth of food. Big mistake currently my husband is puking his guts out. He is extremely sick. The fact that you guys don't even have a number to call so we can warn you that you are serving spoiled fish to the public... if I could give you zero stars I would. Never ordering from here again. Check your fish before you serve it to the public. read more

Boxes were really cute, sushi was decent but not terrible, and it was well packaged. The "crispy" rice was more chewy than crispy, and the salmon smelled a little too fishy for my liking. We felt fine after eating here, but it seemed a bit overpriced for the quality. read more

Wish I could've give you guys less then 1 star I ordered two times in the same week, and the order got cancelled 40 minutes after ordering, with some stupid reason. We are not the people to throw out food, especially not sushi, but this wasnt fresh. And fresh fish is what you want when you get sushi. Store bought sushi is much better than this. We ordered two different boxes and got the same box, the fish tasted aged and rubbery, and the crispy rice was not even crispy. Horrible, and uber eats won't refund the money, they are probably going to make some money and then start their next venture. read more

Ordered on Grubhub and I could not find the truck. It was hidden in the back of a parking lot in the cut. Also, no phone Number listed. Totally ghetto. It's a truck not a restaurant, Which is not specified on their website. So I ordered the crispy rice and it was bite size. The sushi rolls were hella small too. The box my food came in was extremely small. The food portions or more for children, vs adults. I don't understand the outrageous prices, with the ity bitty portion size and size of food. Food was just okay. read more

I was going to place an $80 order for this restaurant through Uber eats and when I googled the reviews I decided that I should go in person and just try one menu item. When I got to the window I was greeted by what resembled your youngest cousins troublemaker friend who just got out of jail. I decided not to judge a book by its cover and place place a single order for the salmon yuzu crispy sushi, so that I could try it and see if it is truly as bad as the reviews indicate. After about 15 minutes of waiting, I got my order and took it to my car to check it out and noticed that they provided me with a sauce tray but no sauce. More importantly, the salmon had a very obvious odor- in decades of eating sushi at amazing places and sometimes dodgy places, I have never in my life had something this disgusting. Against the judgment of my nose, I decided to try taking at least one bite- immediately My mouth started kicking me in the a$$ for my poor decision. The food tasted remarkably worse than it smelled and I could not do anything other than spit it out immediately and rinse my mouth out with any liquid I was able to find in the car. I called Yelp and GrubHub to say that this place looks good in their advertisements, but there is nothing even remotely close to moderately acceptable about the quality of their food. Don't be like me, trust the reviews and spare yourself the anguish of putting something this disgusting in your mouth. And my sincerest condolences to anybody who actually went through with placing a large order with this business. read more

I ordered from here and the rice under the sushi on my nigiri was hard as a brick - literally inedible. The sushi was so thin I've never had such terrible sushi. The edamame was cold with absolutely no salt and half of the sushi that was supposed to be on the nigiri was across the box. The quality was awful and i will never go back. The quality was poor and it seemed like they just threw together (literally, threw) what they had left that night. read more

Absolutely horrific. Listen NOREEN A. Time to shut this garbage business practice, with reef kitchen you have going. I went to pick up food, from the C rated food truck. GO TO SUGARFISH !!!!!! I cant dress that more. AVOID KRISPY RICE This place needs to be shut down!!!!!!!! The food is now HORRIBLE, OLD, the sushi is WET. The soy paper is old, MOLDY AND YELLOW. The avocado is old and the crispy rice is burnt. For $100 SUGARFISH IS WAY WAY BETTER AND WORTh PICKING UP. This location is destroying this brands name. I'm so shocked how lazy people can be handling RAW fish. And this place should be shut down. Shame on the franchise owners for this poor display of what once was a good quality place. Again.
