I'll start with the horrible ending, and work backwards so at 8:48pm, I ordered a bucket of KFC chicken- even though they are open until 10pm - at 8:48pm They were out of chicken breasts. The manager told me you would take 15 minutes to make the chicken which ended up taking 27 minutes, but the story gets worse- after waiting for 27 minutes, a rep who painfully took a moment to acknowledge me, only to tell me that my chicken was ready, but that all of the mac & cheese was 'frozen solid', and that it would take seven (7) minutes to prepare it. Finally after 16 minutes the mac & cheese was ready -however, she wasn't sure if they had biscuits. Finally, after 49 minutes of waiting in the lobby of this KFC, my meal was ready. Of course by this time the chicken was cold, but I didn't stop to think about that until I got home. To make matters worse, they didn't put any butter or condiments of any type, including gravy, in my order. There were obviously many good people that work in the fast food industry and specifically I would imagine at this KFC, however, Jim- the manager, the only guy that seemed to remotely have interest in me being there left immediately after I placed the order with him. You have to believe if I went through the drive window I wouldn't have experienced this horrific event. If they're not prepared to service customers within the store, they should just close the restaurant doors earlier. Obviously had to gone through the drive-through.
