Erin was our server and she was amazing, from beginning to end! We would come back just for her, but I know she works limited hours because she's busy being an epic artist! She let my dad tell her dad jokes and when he wanted to meet Leo (because he looks like Fish from Shoresy and my mom thought he was hot) they obliged which was truly going above and beyond (even if it made me and my sister a little awkward). The boudin balls were great! Very similar to New Orlean's verisons so that was great! We also tried the hot rocks which were also great! Our table tried both gumbos, the jambalaya and the crab cakes. All of which were delicious and the closest you'll find to NOLA style around here! For dessert my mom scored the last creme brulee which made her day and the rest of us had beignets. Their beignets are definitely not Cafe Beignet or Loretta's level, but they are still absolutely delicious as their own dessert, like a mix between a funnel cake and a beignet! Drinks were also amazing! It's one of like 3 places you can get a Pimms cup in Cleveland! They had a lot of other cool options and Sunday looks like it's usually an all day happy hour so we have to go back! And finally, I just have to note how beautiful the place is. Decor everywhere you look, my little sister couldn't stop taking pictures! It was such a lovely experience! I can't say enough great things!

The decor looks like a New Orleans restaurant and there is even a second level for seating. The food is delicious. They have great Happy Hour Specials with portions and prices small enough to sample food items. They also have a pick 3 on the menu that lets you pick different menu items. Our favorites are of course the Chicken Gumbo and Jambalaya but tried to duck wings that were crispy and perfectly cooked. We also tried to fried okra that was awesome. The craft beer and cocktail menu is extensive and we upgraded to the large hurricane, which was fruity and refreshing. Service was Excellent. Highly recommend!

Everything was tasty and still hot. I especially liked the honey biscuit because there was enough honey for every bite. I've gotten food delivered from other places (Bob Evans, an Indian restaurant) and this was the best.

I tried to call the Lakeshore location first with no answer and decided Monticello was closer. The entrance is very bright and the vibe is trendy urban. The first thing I noticed was the dessert station set up which is another business "Tina's Sweet Treats". It's one of those where you take the item and pay for it using a QR code. I love how business is so innovative now! My order was taken by a pleasant young lady who described all the optional ways the Creole Philly came. On a bun, on fries or rice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because at $15.50, I would expect a Philly to come as a sub with the fries. That being said I had to order fires separately and my order for 2 Chicken Phillies and fries was $41. I texted my son and told him their food better be good, lol. I stepped out and when my food was ready I received a phone call. Picked it up, headed home and because I was hungry, I ate the fried in the car. They were good, their sauce (which is more of a glaze) had a nice flavor. You could taste the hot sauce in it. By the time I got home which was a good 18 minute drive the sandwiches were still hot. My son ate a few fries and almost a whole side of his sub and said he was full. He was happy with his food and said it tasted great. The food was good, but to be honest not as great as I was expecting with the price point. I've had better Chicken Phillies for cheaper elsewhere and gotten more food. They are worth trying and I'll probably return when I'm in the area and try some other items.

Since I was in the mood for something warm with seafood, I went for the seafood etoufee. We don't have a lot of Creole food where I'm from, so I wanted to make the most out of my Cleveland trip and have some while I was there. The food came out in around 15-20 minutes and was very yummy. I was a little confused because the server called it a seafood jambalaya instead of etoufee, but it was listed correctly on my receipt so maybe those terms are interchangeable. There was a generous portion of crab meat and shrimp, and I enjoyed the flavor of the broth--flavorful but not too rich or strong. I ordered a blueberry mocktail as well and enjoyed that too. The interior was pretty nice, and they had some sports playing on the TVs. Looked like a good mix of bar seats, smaller high tops, and bigger booths in the back for all sizes of groups.

I feel like if it's national oyster Day and customers come in for oysters the waiter should've clarified the special or offered it. Overall the service was slow, despite sitting at the bar. I didn't find the oysters to be worth the regular price of $16. I've definitely had much better. The ambiance is cute, it's giving grass walls. I'm not sure I'll be back, because I'm not satisfied with my first experience. If you pay cash, they ain't give you coin change back. There's also an automatic 20% service charge added to checks.
