Pumpkin spice season!!! The donut was delicious. It's a cake donut so it isn't a hot donut, but must try! The glaze are delicious as usual. Went through the drive thru. No problems and it went quick. Nice experience

I'm a DC fan so from my B-day coworkers got E the DC limited edition donuts which featured Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman donuts I was extremely surprised and excited at the same time, like a little girl.. LOL The donuts were delicious and beautifully decorated. A very happy me!!!!!

That whiff of fresh baked goods upon removing the KK seal and opening the box, finding an assortment of decorated treats that melt in your mouth. Can't stop after inhaling only one. Associate was polite, knowledgeable and worked quickly. The store interior was well-lit and clean, but inaccessible. Customers must use the drive-through after a certain hour; no signage, but door was locked. It's tricky to maneuver the almost hairpin turns to pick-up purchase and exit onto the busy roadway.

I won a year of free doughnuts!!! This is awesome!!! And my first time winning anything!!!

Just won a year's worth of free doughnuts--one dozen every month! I've never won anything before, so this is incredibly exciting. Picked up my first batch today, and they were fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious!

Hoppy EASTER Collection. NOTHING SPECIAL. Regular Doughnuts decorated with images reflecting the EASTER Holiday and the SPRING Season. WALK DON'T RUN.

I came to try the Elf Specialty Dozen for the holidays. It's a box filled with Buddy Snow Globe Doughnut, Buddy Makes Breakfast Doughnut, Christmas Lights Doughnut, Santa Belly Doughnut and the Chocolate Iced with Christmas Sprinkles. Just a heads up that you aren't able to edit the box and you'll get 3 Glazed and 3 Santa baby and 2 of the other flavors. There are so cool and decorated so nicely. My fave was the Santa Belly filled with cookies & kreme. These are perfect for the kids, family or a holiday party at work. They were very busy as I got there at 9:15am, a lot of people were waiting around after placing their orders so I would suggest ordering ahead online for in store pickup. The associate that was at the front was very helpful and friendly. She really kept her composure with the influx of costumers.

I used this location for the first time because of a horrible experience I had at the Fort Lauderdale location. I use Krispy Kreme often for fundraisers and it was time, once again, to fundraise! I submitted the fundraiser request for this location online and had a response from them with a few hours! I was shocked at how fast it was. The great experience didn't end there. When I picked up the order it was all ready and the team members even helped me bring it out to my car. Truly I was shocked because the last place didn't even let me in the door. The donuts were DELICIOUS and we sold 300 of them in 3 hours - THEY ARE THAT GOOD! Nothing can beat a classic Krispy Kreme glazed donut This team is exceptional and I will now be using them for our monthly fundraisers.

The older ladies working up front are a little dramatic and ornery. I had a pick up order and dealt with these employees for a few minutes and it was tense to say the least. Someone give grandma a cafécito plz !

a box of krispy kreme on a table

I grew up on Krispy Kreme and they are still my favorite donut. I was heading to a meeting this evening and I thought a dozen original glazed and a box of coffee would be a nice surprise. I knew I'd be cutting it close because the donut shop is not on the way, but I downloaded the app and was able to place my order. This lost them their first star. I don't drink coffee. I drink tea. They don't have tea; only coffee. Tea bags do not take up much room and every coffee maker dispenses hot water. Think about all of your customers, not just the coffee drinkers. Still, I was getting fresh, hot glazed donuts so it will be fine. When I got there she hadn't poured the coffee yet because she didn't want it to get cold. It only took a few minutes and I was on my way. I made it to the meeting in nine minutes, so everything was great. Except that the donuts were cold and not fresh. If we had a microwave I could have brought them back but we don't. Instead of hot, fresh donuts we had cold, harder donuts. It was very disappointing. It will be a long time before I trust this shop again. Dr

It was my birthday and my ex treated me to dinner and some yummy donuts. That is right I said my ex, he is in Denial, but he will understand someday! Anyway back to the donuts. Yes they were HOT and FRESH! THERE IS NOTHING MORE SATISFYING THAN WARM FRIED DOUGH!

Mark M.

This is an average type of Krispy Kreme location, they don't make their donuts there they get them shipped in and just glaze them there. The service there wasn't that good they were not friendly and I waited forever just to get three donuts boxed up. I also got donut holes which were mediocre. I wouldn't go out of your way to visit this location.

Cali Coffee is not your classic coffee house where you can set up your laptop and work a spell or hang out. Instead it is for people on the go with a walkup window and drive through. They have now expanded to six locations including Stuart and Miramar and they will be opening 12 more soon all over the state. I first tried Cali Coffee in Cooper City and really enjoyed it. In addition to coffee they also have on their menu fruity drinks, energy drinks iced tea, soda and shakes. They also have a kids menu with a featured shake flavor and a few pastries. We were headed home and my friend suggested stopping by to try their new iced coffee. We had been sitting outside in the heat for a few hours and an iced coffee sounded perfect. Like all of their coffee drinks the iced coffee is highly customizable with many favors to chose from, toppings like sprinkles, syrup drizzles, cookie crumbs, and cold foam for an additional charge. My friend was able to order our drinks on the app so we only had a short wait when we arrived. I chose a Irish cream frozen coffee with cinnamon sprinkles and a caramel drizzle. I like that you can even customize the percentage of sweetness. In this heat, a frozen coffee from Cali is the perfect way to caffeinate this summer.

It's quite refreshing from the typical fast pace drive thru starbucks or dunkin. Every location has been a hit but this North Lauderdale one has been my go-to lately, I cannot wait for the location in West Tamarac to open in March. The staff at this location are always friendly, and provide recommendations when you are feeling indecisive. My favorites: Iced cookies and cream coffee, with all the fixin's (chocolate drizzle, cold foam, cookie dust). It's definitely a chocolate lovers dream but the coffee balances it so well. Iced Rose Water, either as a soda or with green tea. This is a hit every time, what's not to love about strawberry and watermelon flavors? Add some glitter for an extra cute drink! I hope Cali Coffee brings back the funky monkey coffee!! They also leave cute messages on your lids!

This is not a "grab it and go because you're desperate" coffee stop. This is intentional coffee. Their croissants are large, golden and big enough to share. The coffee is strong without being bitter -- balanced, smooth, and clearly made by someone who respects the bean. My chai tea latte is consistently on point: properly spiced, not syrupy sweet, and beautifully frothed. No lazy pours here. And the empanadas? Crisp exterior, generous filling, zero "gas station pastry" vibes. Yes, it's not cheap. But neither is quality. You're paying for a café that doesn't cut corners -- and honestly, I respect that. The space itself is small but intentionally cozy. Friendly staff, relaxed pace, no rushing you out the door -- which is rare and appreciated. This is where I go when I want to grab my caffeine, my flaky pastry, and coast until about 11 AM when reality hits and I consider going back. If you appreciate good coffee -- not just coffee -- this is your spot. Plantation Walk continues to deliver.

Mine came in a wine glass and the whole café has such a nice aesthetic vibe. That being said... if you're someone who likes a strong, authentic matcha flavor, this probably isn't the spot for you. The flavored matcha drinks were definitely better, but even then the matcha taste itself was pretty mild. Now the pastries? INCREDIBLE. Easily the highlight for me. If you only get one thing here, make it a pastry because they clearly know what they're doing in that department. I also tried the prosciutto sandwich and personally wasn't a fan. I really didn't understand why there was mayo in it. My brother thought it was fine, so maybe it just wasn't for me. Even though I didn't love the matcha or my sandwich, the staff was super friendly, the pastries were amazing, and the cups were adorable, so I'd still come back... just not for the matcha.

Before I ever tasted a single bean, the name stopped me cold. Calusa. A roaster bearing the name of…read morean Indigenous people -- the Calusa, the ancient shell-mound builders, the unconquered lords of South Florida's mangroves and waterways. People who never surrendered. People whose bones are folded into this very soil. As someone who walks through this world carrying Taíno blood and the memory of peoples whose names colonizers tried to erase, that word hit different. It wasn't a gimmick. It wasn't a logo. It was a declaration -- that this land has a story older than any espresso machine, and somebody here understood that. That understanding alone earned my curiosity and my respect before I'd even stepped through the door. "The name carried the weight of a people who never bent. That's the kind of legacy worth building a roastery around." Then I learned the story behind the man behind the roaster -- and it only deepened my respect. Luis Arteaga came home from serving in the United States Marine Corps and did what so many veterans do: he looked for work. No fanfare. No red carpet. Just a man with discipline in his bones and calluses on his hands, trying to find his next mission in a civilian world that doesn't always know what to do with people like that. He found his way to the original owners of Calusa Coffee Roasters. They saw in him what the Corps had always seen -- dependability, grit, and a willingness to learn. They gave him a job. A floor to stand on. And Luis did what Marines do -- he didn't just fill a position, he grew into something greater. Over time, through sweat and dedication and an unmistakable passion for the craft, he rose to become the owner of the very roastery that once took a chance on him. That's not a business story. That's an American story. A veteran's story. And it's exactly the kind of origin that makes a cup of coffee taste like something more than coffee. CALUSA COFFEE ROASTERS IS A SOUTH FLORIDA INSTITUTION Fast forward to today, and Calusa Coffee Roasters isn't just surviving -- it is a staple. Walk into the right cigar bar on a Friday evening and someone at the table will mention the name. Sit down at the right diner counter on a Tuesday morning and a regular will nod toward that familiar bag. In South Florida's rich, layered, cafecito-and-culture coffee landscape, that kind of word-of-mouth is earned over years of consistency, of showing up, of never letting the cup get small. Luis continues to build something that belongs to this community -- rooted in the terroir of a region as complex and layered as its people. The coffee is exceptional. Bold where it should be bold, nuanced where it earns it. The kind of roast that makes you sit down instead of rushing out. That's no accident. That's someone who respects the craft because he was forged in institutions that demand nothing less than your best. "When a Marine finds his mission in a roastery, every bag he puts his name on carries the same standard -- do it right or don't do it at all." Meeting Luis was one of those moments I didn't expect to move me the way it did. We are both moving through the coffee world trying to build something that means something -- something rooted in identity, in service, in the belief that what's in the cup should tell a story worth hearing. And here was a fellow Marine who had walked a road I recognize: uncertain ground, earned footing, and a refusal to quit. And finally, if you are in South Florida and you have not made the pilgrimage to Calusa Coffee Roasters on Commercial Blvd, you are overdue. Go for the coffee -- stay for the story. And if you're lucky enough to meet the man himself, shake his hand. He earned it in more ways than one. To Luis Arteaga and everyone at Calusa: thank you for carrying a name that honors this land. Thank you for honoring the service that shaped you. And thank you for a cup of coffee that carries the weight of all of it without spilling a drop. Semper Fi, brother. Keep roasting.
