This brand used to be one of my favorite end-of-the-week treats, but unfortunately, it seems to have gone the way of many large, institutionalized chains--everything now tastes bland and uninspired. The quality at this location has been consistently disappointing. The donuts often taste undercooked, with dough that seems unfinished and simply covered with excessive sugar to compensate. It's reached a point where I believe management should temporarily close the location, bring in experienced leadership from the corporate team, and completely reevaluate the operation. The brand built its reputation on quality, and this location is far from those standards. The pricing only adds to the frustration. Charging nearly $20 for a dozen donuts of this quality is hard to justify. I sincerely hope the franchise owner and corporate leadership take a serious look at this location and make the necessary changes to restore it to the quality that made the brand successful in the first place. read more

This menifee location is never busy, so that is good if you want the tuned down donuts they are now selling. Stopped yesterday to pick up a dozen of their super hyped lemon fill. The company is going ballistic pushing this return. HOWEVER, the amount of lemon filling in each donuts is so small, that you might as well just but the regular standard donut. There is virtually NO LEMON FLAVORED filling. Worse than it used to be. They no longer sell a chocolate cake donut. Essentially they have dropped most of what was good. My son and I stopped by here for the Mother's Day donut special. Dani was extremely welcoming, helpful, and friendly and had offered us fresh donuts straight from the conveyor belt. Yummmm!! But, that was THEN and this is NOW. Today I came in for the original glazed dozen for FREE! People, download the app and don't miss on these amazing sweet treats. This location shares parking spaces with other businesses and restaurants in the complex and it can get busy depending on when you go. I love a good donut, and this place never disappoints! I love that they occasionally offer a coupon where you can get a whole other dozen donuts for either one dollar or two dollars per box. Look for those coupons! On one occasion, they gave us a free, donut, party of three. It was much appreciated. It's cool to watch the donuts come out and we love the variety that they offer. Ugh....This morning I went to Krispy Kreme with my 9 year old daughter. I ordered a dozen glazed and asked if we could get one free donut off the line that's nice and warm as I always do. The cashier said, "no we only have mini's right now," & gave me and my daughter nothing on Father's Day....wow. They learned a lot about how donuts are made, what happens to misshapen donuts, and how they get frosted. When they got to dip their own donuts, they were in absolute heaven! It was the supervisors first time doing a tour. And he was absolutely amazing! I know he was nervous about it, but he was so personable and friendly. He was great with the kids, even our youngest Girl Scouts. He has them laughing, coloring, and paying attention! He was fabulous! As if the price of Krispy Kreme wasn't enough of a deterrent. I let my sweet tooth get the best of me and visited this location. Where multiple employees stood around ignoring us and the one person who did come and ask what we wanted did not seem like he wanted to be there at all. To make matters worse when I got home and bit into what was sold as a strawberry filled doughnut, it had only about a teaspoon of filling inside. I am sure that someday I will visit another Krispy Kreme location, but it's certainly will not be this one. read more

Bumping up one star because they have had the S'mores donuts in the last 2 days that I have gone. Service was also faster, as there were only one or two cars ahead of me. You want 'em? I suggest going before 9am and you should be golden. As far as the donuts, the S'mores Fudge Cake is pretty cakey. It's dense and not as sweet as the S'mores Classic. Not a fan of it. I do like the Classic because it's soft and fluffy and filled with cream on the inside. I don't like dense donuts so there you have it. I would highly suggest eating them right when you get them. I hid mine from myself the first time in my microwave and forgot so by the time I found them they were kinda hard.
