The store on Cassatt ave Jacksonville Florida has Hugh Rats and management does not seem to mind. Boxes are being eaten into by the rats. They have mold in and around the store. Let's all be careful not to get sick or worse.

Look at that dead fly from my iced coffee

Ok, nothing is better than the HOT donut sign being on, and it was a BOGO so score me. I had a custom dozen of glazed and custard with chocolate and the free dozen of glazed, via the drive thru and on my way home. Here's where it gets really interesting....I ordered a fancy ice mocha caramel coffee and I was so looking forward to it. During my drive on I-10 I was just sipping away and then I got a mouthful of surprise. At first I thought it was maybe paper left from my straw, so I spit it out (all while driving a brisk 65 mph) and F me it's a fly!! Oh hell no did I just suck up a fly thru my straw...yup...it's a fly and I must have swallowed one wing as this fly was dead and one winged. Now I am driving 65 and get a dead fly out of my mouth. Gross! I put the fly aside and immediately stop my drink sipping. When I arrived home I immediately contacted Krispy Kreme corporate offices via phone to discuss the situation. I was offered a coupon for a free drink or a free dozen. Holy smokes people really. You have serious bug issues at this location and I did not order my iced coffee with a side of fly! I have also sent pictures of the receipt, the fly and the almost full iced coffee to KK corporate offices. I have no faith that they will address the issue but they are on notice. Come for the donuts add an iced coffee if you like flies!

Doggie donuts were a big hit with the pups. Had to wait a while to be helped band only 1 couple in front of me. But all things are always yummy. Thee pumpkin doughnuts are out early so I had one and was yummy!!

I could not resist. They were so fresh, they were still hot!

KK is always good. They make doughnuts all of the time. But, when you see the red neon sign on-you can be guaranteed they are just coming out to be sold/served. I highly recommend this place for great, hot and fresh doughnuts every time. Thank you KK! Great job.

Freshly fried glazed donuts on the conveyer

Working just down the street from here when that red light is on, I answer the call occasionally! I love going here and sometimes I get sucked in when I go inside to just watching the donuts go through the fryer and then going under the waterfall of the glaze icing. I am so glad they opened up after remodeling. If you haven't had a fresh straight out of the fryer glazed donut then what are you doing??? The melt in your mouth donuts are amazing. They do occasionally have seasonal and holiday donuts. I would have given them 4 3/4 stars if available because after the glazed my favorite donut ever is a cake donut and they don't carry that.

Looong lines at times but oh the fresh donuts..... Listen, i HATE DONUTS. Really. They are just nasty sugar bombs. BUT- for whatever reason, a plain glazed hot off the machine is amazing! I have tried them in several places, and always the best. The store is kind of dirty at times but you are not there to eat off the floor. The staff are all nice and you can find coupons here and there.

The original Krispy Kreme that sat on this lot was closed years ago and the Westside of Jacksonville went into a donut depression. Other brands opened in the area, but they did not satisfy a true Hot & Fresh KK kraving. Yes, you can buy them in grocery stores and gas stations, but it just isn't the same. Well the donut gods overheard our lamentations and Krispy Kreme rebuilt their store on the same lot as the old. The new building is modern and clean, with 2 booths, 2 "hi-tops", a bar seating 4 and a mini-couch & 2 chairs, giving it a mini-hipster vibe overall, especially with the old-timey pictures on the walls. The walls between the "dining area" and the kitchen are glass so you can watch the original KK donuts travel the conveyor belt from dough to glazed doughnut ready to be boxed. (Let me tell you, grown-ups are as hypnotized by the sight as the kids are!) The store is spotless and smells like heaven, if heaven baked hot fresh glazed donuts. The workers were hustling, but very friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. I was there to try two of their new creations, the Caramel Chocolate Pretzel Doughnut and the Dark Chocolate Caramel Kreme Doughnut (see my pics). Both were delicious but the first one was the best. My husband and my daughter had other donuts and they loved them all. I honestly don't know how to describe it, but I had expectations and Krispy Kreme went beyond them. For drinks, we had the Iced Caramel Coffee and Mocha Dream Chiller. Their iced coffee was really delicious and, in my opinion, superior to the other donut company's fare. My daughter had the chiller (more of a milk shake consistency) and that was very delicious as well. My husband had a shot of espresso and said it was pretty good quality coffee. LOL Listen, this isn't health food and a lot of people on other sites complain about that, but it's a fabulous treat for a great price and if you go when the "HOT" light is on, you can watch the donuts actually be made and that is an added bonus. Oh, and one last thing. The drive-thru is open 24 hours. O.M.G....

Wait for it....

Too slow. Been in line for 20 minute now with no doughnuts. It doesn't take that long to put doughnuts in a box.

Hot donuts are so good, they need to work on getting someone more experienced when making the pumpkin lattes.

It was bold rich and delicious. Their baked goods looked amazing but I'll have to try those on the next visit which will be soon. The staff were very polite, very informative and extremely helpful. Inside was a great chill vibe with relaxing music playing in the background and it's a fantastic place to get coffee, hang out or do some work. There are several coffee spots in the Riverside/Avondale area and Bold Bean is one of the best. If you're a coffee fan, Bold Bean is a must if you're in the Riverside area.

BOLD BEAN '26 (Riverside) - Afterthoughts…read more.. Not my first visit, and certainly not my last! This very hippy, laid-back spot is one I frequented often in my pre-COVID downtown workdays, and I'm happy to find myself returning more regularly in 2026--especially since their partnership with Coffee (JAVA) Culture, which supports local coffee shops around town and beyond. Bold Bean has always been a well-kept, spotless, and spacious café--perfect for meet-ups, studying, or simply enjoying your caffeine fix while admiring local art displayed throughout the shop. Service was neat, friendly, and refreshingly quick. Order: Large take-away Honey Latte with oat milk + extra shot (3 total). The taste was just as I remembered: a clean first sip with zero burnt aftertaste. Well done. (Next time I'll ask for extra honey--lesson learned from my BFF.) Noticed they now have a dedicated pick-up order area, which I'll definitely be trying very soon. A must-try and repeat spot. .5 out of 5 (4.5 of 5)

Some restaurants surprise you with one great dish. Others deliver a memorable experience from start…read moreto finish. Our visit to Biscottis in Jacksonville's Avondale neighborhood managed to do both. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and seated immediately, and the atmosphere had a welcoming energy that made the restaurant feel like a true neighborhood gathering place. Susan ordered the Quiche Lorraine, and after the first bite we both knew it was something special. The crust was delicate and buttery while the filling was rich and perfectly balanced. It was so impressive that we awarded it our Culinary Duo Best of the Best dish recognition, which is something we reserve for truly standout dishes. Peter went in a different direction and ordered the Sweet Potato Pancakes with house made white cheddar hash browns. The pancakes were flavorful and comforting, and the hash browns were crispy with bold cheddar flavor that made them impossible to stop eating. Another thing we appreciated was learning that Biscottis carries the Slow Food First Coast Snail of Approval, recognizing restaurants that support sustainable agriculture and local food traditions. The service throughout the visit was cheerful and attentive, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. If you enjoy restaurants that combine great brunch dishes, incredible desserts, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere, Biscottis is definitely worth visiting.

Pretentious and overrated…read more I wanted to like this place - it has such a hype. But the food is terrible. The burger is greasy/wet, it is drenched in a bland cheese sauce, the meat is underseasoned, and the patty has no sear. Definitely not worth anything near the $21 cost. The salmon BLT is served on bread that is cut so thick you're mostly just eating old/stale bread, and the sandwich is also greasy. Their french fries come drenched in a disgusting garlic oil and cheap grated parmesan. It's bad cooking dressed up to look fancy without any understanding of the basics. The restaurant fits as well. Its ugly artwork is accompanied by furniture that looks like it was ripped out of a Le Pain Quotidien. The cakes look amazing, and the bar is nicely designed and well stocked, but neither saves the drab surrealist-cafeteria vibe of this pretentious establishment.

I've been visiting for just over a year and no complaints. Yep I'm a local so try where the locals go. All joking aside it truly is my favorite. They are next to the Woof Gang Bakery on St Johns across from the brick and Mellow Mushroom. Everything is amazing!

My wife, daughter and I came here on a Sunday morning for a cup of coffee and a quick bite. When we ordered, he mumbled back and forth and seemingly didn't understand our relatively simple order, which was a bagel, egg and cheese sandwich and a PBJ on a bagel. My wife also got an iced coffee drink. The man at the counter had an attitude with us the whole time, especially after my wife asked for an iced coffee rather than the hot coffee he served. He was huffing and slamming doors and dishes, and it was really unnerving. The most egregious part was the cost. For the above three items, this man actually charged $31. I didn't even bother to argue with him and just paid the tab. There's no way we weren't overcharged, but I'm equally certain he would have resisted any attempt to examine the bill or gotten angrier... over nothing. We didn't say anything or do anything to this man other than place the order and return the hot coffee, which was his mistake. The whole atmosphere was uncomfortable, and I will strongly recommend no one visit Old Cup cafe. You will be ripped off, or retaliated against, and you will not enjoy the experience. Places like this need to just go out of business, and I can't imagine they're long for this world with so many better and more affordable spots in Avondale. Head to Southern Grounds and avoid Old Cup at all costs.
