Love the donuts. Though they were out we waited for the hot now. Great donuts okay service.

The best of the best donuts. My favorites over the past 30 + years are Lemon Filled, Chocolate Custard filled and Original Glazed in that order. I was overwhelmingly disappointed to learn that my favorite Lemon Filled donuts were removed from the menu. I like the classics that have kept me a loyal Krispy Kreme fan for decades. I do not approve of any (not even one) of the 9 new creations. They may cause the light to be permanently turned off along with the excitement of heading to Krispy Kreme. Are the brownie, cheesecake and Oreo donuts being delivered rather than freshly made on-site? read more

We took my 3-year-old son there for his birthday because he loves doughnuts. The manager was kind, patient, helpful and even gave him a free doughnut. I would give them negative 10 if I could. Website says 6:am so I stayed up. Got here at 6:25 lights are on, but they just left me sit here. Knocked on the door and it's "Go away we're not open. This location has become the ultimate disappointment! Why are they even still open? The only thing they have going for them is the Krispy Kreme name and reputation which they have ruined for this location. We gave them their last chance last night. We had promised the grandkids that we would go after seeing the Christmas lights in McAdenville. We started that tradition years ago. Going inside and seeing the doughnuts being made and getting to choose from all the beautiful colored creations of sweetness used to be magical. Now their dining room is not open and after waiting through the drive through line they don't even have the holiday donuts. We ended up getting donuts from the Rock Hill location. Every time we go to Rock Hill they have plenty of doughnuts. Don't waste your time going to Gastonia. read more

Showed up at 10pm , 1 hour before close. They had 2 donuts. So i ordered a medium chiller.. got a small even after i questioned it. DO NOT GO HERE. GO TO YUM!!! read more

I went to the store in Gastonia NC on 8/28/2025. Service was horrible! After 20 minutes finally got to the kiosk to order. I asked for a dozen filled donuts & specified the ones I wanted. Several things I asked for they didn't have. When I finally got to the pickup window the lady tried to give me all regular donuts. Which is not what I paid for! She then supposedly gave me the right thing. After I pulled away I didn't have the correct order at all. By then, after all that I just left. I will NEVER go back!! to read more

Called from home at 7:30 PM to ask what time they close tonight. Was told 10 PM. Drove to the location and they had a hand written sign saying Closed at 8:30 PM. People were inside working. They ignored us. Nice waste of gas. Please just close this whole location down. It's not worth the hassle. Never again. read more

This is the third time within this month that I have gone to Krispy Kreme in Gastonia and they have either had NO donuts for sale or NO original glazed donuts. This is not at closing, this is between the hours of 5pm-8pm. NeverMind the hot sign, can we just be able to order and get glazed donuts. This time as I was looking at racks of decorative donuts in the back, we were told that their machine is broken so they cannot produce the amount they use to produce. A donut shop that is consistently out of their own signature donuts, they may as well close, what else is there to sell, coffee or milk???? That's not a good business strategy. All I wanted was a glazed donut from a donut company, during business hours. Disappointing. read more

You know I can't say anything negative about someone who brings me hot donuts. I live to see the Hot sign as I drive down Franklin Blvd. I about wreck my car. I typically walk in as they line is most times shorter on the inside. The people's working there have been very nice. They take my order quickly and deliver efficiently. I have been talked into buying more than I went in for on several occasions. It wasn't a hard sell. The donuts are warm, soft and... well you know. And if you don't know about these donuts, then Shane on you. Get you some. Overall the place is clean and runs efficiently. As long as that sign shine bright I will be there. read more

The only thing that's consistent about this location is that they never have their s*** together and always out of s***. I hate that this is the closest location to me but from now on I'll just travel to Spartanburg if I'm wasting gas bc atleast I know they will have doughnuts. The owner of this place has to be either dead or in other business ventures and to be busy to be bothered. The lack of care and attention shows and makes the brand look extremely bad. To the OWNER, if you want it off your hands I'll gladly take over and buy you out. Guarantee it will be profitable and otw to opening another location within a year. What is going on???? Usually this location has a line, inside & out. Last few times I've driven by there's been no line & thought that was weird. Went by this morning and got some assorted donuts. My glazed donuts look like they were made yesterday. There is no way this were made today. It's takes a while for the glaze to look cracked. They are also cold, like been in a refrigerator cold & taste greasy. I'm not sure what is going on at this location but I am not inclined to go back. I now understand why the parking lot is empty. read more

Terrible customer service! I will not be back to this location. The girl at the window was rude.

I stopped going to this store because they never have the donuts I want. They're told by upper management how many to make of each variety, based on sales from the previous week. This is stupid because they can only sell as many as they have. Since they never make enough, the numbers never change because they always sell out. If you place an online order of a custom dozen and they're able to partially fill your order because they're out of some of the donuts, the website doesn't tell you and you find out when you get there. Oh, and they've not had the pumpkin spice cake donuts for almost a month because their mixer is broken. However, they're still on the drive-thru and website menus. I've complained via the store website and by calling their customer service line, always requesting to be contacted. It's a complete waste of time because not once have I ever received so much as an email. They replied with a generic form letter and coupon for a free original glazed dozen, but they can keep that sh*t. The district manager and higher- ups at this store are doing a horrible job, and the company doesn't seem to give a single f*@!. This location deserves a negative one-star rating. Fortunately, I work in Charlotte and my office is close to the Sharon Amity store, where I don't have these problems. read more

It's 8:43 pm on Saturday night. Decided to go inside because the line was wrapped around the building.. they had maybe 50 donuts left total.. the guys were kinda just messing around at the front counter and told me that what they had, was all that was left. I got 11 mini dry chocolate frosted donuts for like $5. read more

They are slow as shit. How long does it take to make some damn donuts, cmon y'all. We were here for an hour!!

Advertised hours are open at 6am. No regular donuts until 6:45. Other donuts available. Doors to store locked.

I will never visit the Gastonia location again. Never have I been to a location where they were out of the original glazed doughnut. That's unheard of. So I tried to order strawberry and cream and they were out of those as well. Then I tried to order glazed cream filled and guess what? Yep...they were out of those too. I ended up getting a dozen of chocolate cream filled that turned out to be the most disappointing piece of dough I've ever allowed to slither down my throat. Every single one I tried had VERY little cream, I had to eat more that 3/4 of the doughnut just to get to the cream. And they were as stale as popcorn sitting in 90 degrees sun for 6 hours. Just shut the place down. read more

Never have donuts, never open. I've been when they were supposed to have apple fritters and they never did. Just stopped by and at 730 on a Friday night and they are closed because of staff. The donuts were hot and ready! The smell hung in my car for hours... it was heavenly. I stopped for a quick dozen early on a Saturday. The donuts were exactly as expected. Hot, full of glaze, too good to eat two. The customer service could use some attention. The line crawled along; the car in front of me reversed as I was pulling up and parked to go inside. I waited, and waited, and waited. Ordered a dozen glazed and crawled to the window. They needed to clarify my order by that point.... ummmmm okay. I feel like had I not said "thank you" I wasn't going to hear it. You get what you get. A dozen glazed under $10 you can't expect the world. read more

This place never seems to have donuts. For a place that makes exclusively donuts, it shocks me every time. This has been going on since 2022. First time I went to this Krispy kream it was an 1 1/2 hour after it was supposed to be open and it wasn't, when I went to the door the manager gave me a no no finger and actually shooed me away. The store is a Krispy Kreme which means good donuts, but occasionally they will be out or long wait times if they need to make more. This being said many of these one star reviews are absolutely ridiculous. Mom and Pop shops are the best, and will be better than kk but most of the negative reviews can be described as people just with the "customer is always right mentality." So they have good donuts, but their high demand can mean you don't always get them instantly. Please think before leaving a harsh comment because a service worker didn't treat you like a king/queen. They are also pretty fast with door dash orders if you don't want to wait, but their door dash menu is limited. read more

I go to this location often and service is usually decent. Sometimes I order ahead via the app and many times my doughnuts look like they've been sitting or aren't fresh. This is the only location in my area, so I understand that sometimes they get overwhelmed with customers. When it comes down to it, you're either team KK or team Dunkin. And this girl is team KK all the way! My absolute fave is when the Hot Now sign is on. You know when that hotline blings, it can only mean one thing!!!! Today I'm giving them 2 stars for the consistently slow service. I've been to this location several times and their service is always the same, slow. The Hot Now sign isn't even on and I've been waiting in the drive through line for 10 mins. It's a shame because KK doughnuts are the best especially when they're freah out of the grease! read more

I have loved KK for many many years so it pains me to be having to do this but I must. A couple of months ago I went and the doughnuts were not good. They were old and much smaller. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was a bad day. Went back today because of their offer to give me a free dozen glazed with the purchase of any dozen. It was TERRIBLE! The doughnuts are all old and it's mid afternoon on a Saturday with lots of customers. They are definitely smaller. I got one chocolate covered custard filled and there was just a tiny dab of custard inside. I sure wish they would get their act together but until they do I won't be back even if they offer them to me free of charge! read more
