Overall, my hopes were way too high. I don't live anywhere that has one near me so I was excited. In my mind I thought Krispy Kreme was a high quality donut place. Boy was I wrong. All 6 of my donuts were ice cold, like they had been refrigerated from being made last week. The filled ones had barely any filling. Although the raspberry jelly was delicious, it took me 4 bites to find any of it. All of the frosting topping that was on their cheesecake donut fell off in 3 pieces. There was also a hollow hole where there should have been cheesecake filling. Talk about unappetizing. Perhaps I was in the wrong for expecting a glazed donut off the rack, freshly coated in hot glaze. Regardless of that explanation, I was extremely disappointed and truthfully grossed out. Dunkin' Donuts has much better donuts. As you can see, most of the donuts were eaten. Not because they were good, but because my boyfriend was absolutely starving. read more

Krispy Kreme had Pop Tart flavored specialty doughnuts that I wanted to try. I ordered two of the frosted strawberry and one brown sugar and cinnamon. I used the drive-thru and checked my box before I left. They looked really good. I just got home with them. The brown sugar and cinnamon had to be old. The doughnut was hard and broke/crumbled when I tried to pinch off a piece. The flavor was just a cinnamon sugar doughnut with a brown sugar style buttercream. I don't know if the doughnut would be better fresh, but I would never order it again to find out. I live an hour away or I would have taken it back to the store. The frosted strawberry didn't taste horribly fresh but at least they weren't hard. The flavor of the strawberry was definitely similar to the pop tart flavor but I don't think I would ever order it again either. Quite disappointing. read more

Today we tried to order online - the site took my gift card ifo, displayed the available funds then said it was unable to take the gift card. So we went to the store, walked in and the very same two dozen doughnuts were $2 less than on the site and the gift card worked fine except the employees continuously fail to correctly scan for rewards. I have purchased more than 200 dozen in the past 16 months for events and parties yet I have not received so much as 1 dozen in my rewards. The employees have zero customer service abilities and I never see an adult in the place working. This business seems to run questionably. read more

As a former fast food employee, I'm reluctant to leaving a review regarding poor service. Although the donuts were good, the service provided to customers could use improvement. The men were kind, however, the woman who served us had no personality whatsoever and came off completely rude to my grandmother who simply asked for a cake donut. When communicating with a customer, it's okay to word phrases kindly such as - "unfortunately, we're sold out of the donut you wanted". Instead of "everything we have is on display" (in a rude tone). After she'd acted like we'd disturbed her day by entering the store and ordering the donuts, we'd disturbed her once again by ordering coffee - which she made us aware was an inconvenience to her as it had to be brewed fresh due to the fact that they were out (the attitude is in the tone - trust me). She has a gift of making the customer feel as a burden. Hope she finds happiness and love for her job. read more

OK, the donuts are great as usual - but the service is subpar at this location. There were a few teen girls trying hard but seem to have bad leaders and they weren't sure what to do. The store advertises decaf and regular coffee, lattes and iced drinks. I asked for decaf - it was 5:30 pm. I was told they "would have to make a pot" by a grumpy older teen boy running the drive through. He definitely indicated he did not want to make a pot. And they were apparently out of regular coffee as well. I said well, would it be quicker to make a latte? The teen girl, again trying to help me, but seemed clueless about all coffee orders even though she was running the front counter where they house all the coffee. She asked someone to help her make a latte - the first person, a male, seemed like he was showing her what to do but walked off without helping her. Then, she had to ask another employee who - thank goodness, cleaned out the milk pitcher because at first, it didn't look like that would happen. Then the drink was made, but the milk was scalding hot. I don't blamethe young girl, she didn't know what she was doing, but she warned me it was very hot. In the meantime, I heard the rude drive thru guy tell someone "We would have to make a pot! No one ever orders decaf coffee." If two people order decaf within two minutes of each other, I think it's a good time to make the coffee - an item the store is known for. Very frustrating. I purposely got off the expressway to go to Kristy Kreme because they are 24 hours and usually have good coffee. Very frustrating. Extremely disappointed, if I could click 0 stars I would. I tried to place an online order, but it wasn't offering me the donuts I wanted to purchase, so I tried calling the facility. I was on hold for over 45 mins, was hung up on, so called back multiple times over a 5 hour period with no answer, or hung up on again. Finally after a fight to talk to a human being, a gentleman answered the phone and I explained my issue, that I would like to place an order for pick up tomorrow. The gentleman said one second he had to speak to his manager. I could clearly hear the conversation between him and the male manager. The manager told the gentleman "tell her she is going to have to call back tomorrow I don't have time for that right now." In a very rude tone. You don't have time for my business? Wow. A few minutes ago... At the drive-through window... After i gave my order to a male voice, I asked, "do you have senior citizen discounts?" The man's answer was, "yes we do." I laughed and said, "then I will need a senior citizen discount." When I pulled up to the window to pay and get my order, an unsmiling young woman said something really quickly that I didn't understand (I later realized she might have said "glaze, holes, & cup?") and I asked "what did you say? She then seemed to sigh as she said, "what did you order." So I repeated my order and she turned away then came back and said "$8.23." I held out a $20 bill with a quarter on top. She pulled the $20 out of my hand and the quarter fell onto the geound outside next to my car. She said "sorry." She waited. I was able to get the quarter and gave it to her. She gave me my change and food, then when she gave me my coffee I asked, "is there a cream already in it?" She answered, "Yep." I pulled away from the window, surprised at what felt like an attitude from the young woman. ALSO as i review my receipt I see NO senior discount. I tried to call the number on the receipt and got no answer. I tried to submit a concern via the online form and it doesn't work. So I came here. For the THIRD TIME, my order (almost $100) was mishandled. Twice our selection was changed for donuts we did NOT order. This time they gave our prepaid order away to someone else, and it took half an hour (time I didn't have) to replace the order. I let corporate and customer service know over 48 hours ago, but so far they have not responded. Twice the corporate office receptionist hung up on me. The past few years I have gone to this store and picked up donuts while shopping in the area. Several times I have ordered cream filled donuts and found so little cream that you couldn't even tell it was there or no cream at all. Yesterday we bought a dozen cream filled donuts only to get home (1 hour away) to find the cream next to non existence. Save your money and buy glazed, thats what you'll get anyway. I really hate they are skimping on the cream. I loved those donuts. I doubt I'll go back. This has happened too many times. Also check your order before you leave. Once I ordered cream filled only to get home and find custard. I've had Krispy Kreme at other locations when traveling and they are still the great cream filled I love so it must be this store.
