What can I say? I love the Peanuts characters and was so excited when I saw the commercials with the donuts at Krispy Kreme. But now I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered my pickup for this morning for our office. All the reviews are exactly correct, donuts were cold and tasted old, not fresh, also tasted like old oil was used to cook them in. I wanted this to be good but I won't be going back. I WAS INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED!! the donuts look like they're two weeks old and the "cinnamon roll" looks like someone crushed it in their hand before shoving it in the box along with about four other of the donuts that are squished. I felt uncomfortable offering these to my guests because of the quality but before they were all thrown out my little brother tried one and you just know something is truly wrong with a donut when a child spits it out and says "ewwww" because they're so stale. I ordered a dozen donuts online, when it was delivered, not only did the Dasher, Maketra, just sit them on the ground and walk off without knocking or ringing my doorbell, but the order was wrong. I received two dozen donuts instead of the dozen I ordered. I got someone named Belinda Johnson order. When I called the Bartlett location and informed them of their error, I was told the Dasher was given the correct order and hung up on. Lesson learned. Why offer something you NEVER have? I have been a patron of this krispy kreme since it opened. In the beginning there were no issues. I found and fell in love with the cake batter donut and it was readily available whenever I visited. For the past year, I have made about 20 trips to obtain these donuts, at different times on different days, only to be told they did not have them and could not remake them. On one of my last visits, I was told they order them from the bakery and to come at noon when they receive their truck. When I did just that, I was told they didn't order any. These were probably the nastiest donuts I've ever had. They honestly taster like they were made 2 days ago. (I placed my order at 4AM for a 6:15AM pick-up.) I got there at 6:15 and the place was a ghost town. I pulled around the the speaker and waited a minute, then pulled up to the window. I waited a few more minutes before someone emerged (with a cell phone in hand. The call was never answered.) The order wasn't ready. She was nice. She apologized for being out of one of the flavors from the order. I said it was fine. Whatever. No big deal. The donuts were so stale. Oh my god. They were hard. We would've gotten fresher donuts if we'd gone across the street to Kroger. The infuriating thing about this is I paid $20 for something I could've paid a LOT less for and got a much better product if I had gone to a small business, but I really wanted to try the thanksgiving flavors because they look so good. So tonight I made a bad decision to go to Krispy Kreme on Stage Road. My wait, for about 8 to 10 cars in front of me, was 30 minutes. When I got to the window, I was greeted with attitude and rudeness. When I tried to pay with cash, I was rudely told exact change or card, which was fine, but not with the attitude and slammed window when I asked for my $20 bill back so that I could give him my debit card. He then, slammed my order onto the countertop before handing it to me through the window. And as I drove off he yelled something unintelligible out the window. And if that didn't put a bad taste in my mouth, the donuts sure did. The donuts were overcooked and the glaze was so thin that it ran off, and was crusted to the bottom of the box instead of onto the donuts. I visited this location twice last week and both times the doors were closed, but drive-thru was open. There was one person working from what I could see and he was turning down all customer because they were out of donuts. My question to the franchisee is: (a) Why are you open for business and paying an employee when all they are doing is turning customers away? Why not stay closed? I stopped in to grab an small coffee while doing laundry next door. Very nice store and selection of donuts, but a small coffee cost more then Starbucks. I paid $2.00, because the cashier did not give me any change. It was 0.18 in taxes, the coffee was $1.79. Man! Well the coffee was strong, not bad, but they did not have sweet and low. I like black coffee so no cream or sugar. While driving to get change because the coin changer was broken. Spilled coffee in my car. Why? Because the girl gave me a damaged cup and the lid popped off. Luckily it did not end up in my lap. It fell back into the cup holder splashing coffee all over my console. Visited for the first time this morning and wasn't that impressed. Seeing as kids are your target audience you SHOULD provide high chairs AND a changing table in at least one bathroom. This location has neither. Not kid friendly at all. We got a regular dozen and they were hot and fresh. Restaurant was dirty inside. Needs new paint as there is coffee splattered on the walls in the lobby as well as black marks from god knows what. When I went through the drive through the girl taking my order did not even let me get through placing my entire order before she rattled off my total and told me to drive to the window. Incredibly rude and unhelpful, and the doughnuts I did get weren't all that good (greasy and a bit stale, even though I went mid-morning). Worst location as far as customer service and item availability. There were at least five employees on the clock and they all were just sitting around. There were no doughnuts in the display and they were out of most doughnuts including the original glaze. I asked if they were about to close and was told they closed at 9pm, which meant they were open for three more hours. I've seen other people complain about this exactly issue on yelp and I even attempted to submit a concern on the Krispy Kreme site but was unsuccessful. The doughnuts are ill-formed and look as tho a small child was in charge of icing them. I think it's great that young people want to work but they need more training on the art of making doughnuts and def on customer service. One star doesn't even mean anything nor does it mean I liked my service one bit. Me and my boyfriend stopped by to get us a coffee and some doughnuts, never tried their coffee before so we said why not. We couldn't go in because all the chairs were up so we went through drive through. First off, we were not greeted in a kindly manner, and the female taking "TAKING" our order seemed to not be paying attention to what we were saying. My boyfriend proceeded to ask if they had their Pumpkin Spice iced latte and the female said no. Im not sure if Covid has ruined ever fast food franchise or not but this one sure had me fuming this morning. I ordered a dozen plain and a dozen of the pumpkin "lovers". Was told they didnt have those even though they are advertised on their menu. So so settled for 2 dozen plain, then orderd the pumpkin latte was told they didnt have that either. Was told my totalwas 21.93 then once I paid I was told they had went up on their prices so my total was $2 more. This of course was not the 1 person they had working their fault, it is management. The manager and staff were incredibly rude, my donuts were smashed and they did not allow me to pick up my mobile order through the drive through window, it happened to be POURING and I had 3 kids in the car, the order was paid for. When I called corporate they said there is nothing that says that mobile orders can't be picked up in the drive through yet this is this store's policy because apparently it would look like they were giving away free food if they gave me my already paid for order through the window and they "ain't about dat life"....or so I was told.
