Mom enjoyed living there. Mom's every need was addressed. The people who work there are the most warm, caring, & understanding people we have ever met. We never had to worry whether mom was being taken care of. We knew she was. There were many activities that kept mom busy & we were always included in everything that mom was involved in. We enjoyed meals with her regularly & when mom was no longer able to feed herself, there was always somebody helping her. Mom's time spent there was the best way a person could spend the final stage of their life - right up to the last day. Thank you for all that you have done. Terry B.

I remember when we first moved him in I thought the place was like a very nice hotel. They have beautiful common areas like an outdoor fountain and fireplace, a bar, several lounges and dinning areas, a movie theater, and game areas. They do happy hour for the residents where they can have beer or wine and hangout together chatting or singing. We've joined my grandfather for dinner a few times and it was always good, albeit with a lot of the expected soft textures. Snacks and refreshments are always available. They even have cookouts for some holidays and invite the families of residents. They encourage family involvement, my uncle is a certified volunteer and visits all the time and helps with programs. We often take my grandpa out and there's never been any hassle. They continue to provide excellent care for their residents.

I checked with a friend whom I knew had hired help to care for her ill daughter. My friend highly recommended Mrs. Brown and Heaven on Earth. I called Mrs. Brown, interviewed her at my home, and gave her my care requirements. She outlined a plan of care, and we agreed on a start date. The two caregivers she selected were far beyond excellent. Both ladies were polite, compassionate, caring, thoughtful, thorough, and professional. Important to me, they accompanied me to the bathroom and stood nearby day and night. Also important, both ladies kept me and my house clean. They helped me bathe and dress daily. They cooked nutritious meals and left the kitchen spotless. They helped me track the many medicines I was prescribed for healing and pain, and they logged the medicines and times taken. One even went to the pharmacy to pick up a newly prescribed medication. My caregivers encouraged me to do the required exercises and tracked them in a notebook. If I hadn't exercised in a while a caregiver would come to me and suggest that I take a Tylenol and start exercising. After exercise, one would re-attach the ice machine to my knee. A very important task during my recovery was keeping the cold therapy machine filled with ice. The machine pipes ice water through the channels of a special compression pad on the knee. It helps control swelling and inflammation. Occasionally, a caregiver needed to go to the nearby store to pick up a 5-pound bag of ice and anything else that I needed. Everything was done with such pleasantness and a genuine caring. They spoke to me so nicely, as if they were caring for a favorite aunt or mother. They were polite and respectful of my me and my home. It was enjoyable to chat with each of them. When I worked, we evaluated employees in terms related to "meeting requirements". The highest rating was "far exceeds requirements consistently" and that's exactly how I would rate Mrs. Brown and her team.

I had a confirmed physical therapy appointment at the Odenton location of Greater Maryland Pain…read moreManagement for 11:15 a.m. I received two text confirmations with that exact time. I arrived at 11:10 a.m., which is within the standard 15-minute grace period most clinics and health facilities follow, and more than enough time to complete paperwork -- especially since no one sent forms ahead of time. The moment I walked in, the front-desk person looked at me and said, "Unfortunately, you have to reschedule." No check-in. No explanation. Nothing. I was later told I was expected to arrive 45 minutes early, even though this was never communicated through phone, text, email, or instructions. No one called to clarify. No one advised me. I did everything correctly based on the information they gave me. Because of their internal communication failure: I was denied physical therapy, My pain remains untreated, I lost time, money, and energy dealing with this place, I now have to find a new provider while dealing with neck and arm pain from a recent accident This experience was careless and dismissive. When a practice claims to provide responsive, patient-centered care, denying treatment to someone who arrives five minutes early for a confirmed appointment is unacceptable. I hope they reconsider their scheduling and communication practices so other patients aren't harmed the way I was. My advice -- find some place else. They can't help you.

I had a bad experience today, and remembered other bad experiences. I decided to write reviews, and I find that many other reviewers had the same things to say. First, I want to say that the doctors are very good. They have a real talent for injections, getting the medication exactly where it needs to go. I love "Dr. Edzi" for his empathy and rapport with patients and ability to ease pain. It makes me sad that I probably won't see the doctors again. DOCTORS: 5 STARS Second, the PAs are fine. I found them professional and helpful in writing prescriptions, orders for imaging, and describing options for treatment. PAs: 4 STARS Third, the staff that sit at the front desk and deal with patients face-to-face are awful. Just. Awful. I am not resting blame on those employees. The problem must start at the management level, and a check of Glass Door says that's so. The receptionist today was like a robot programmed to say certain lines and nothing else. No listening, not even trying to understand my situation. No effort to find a solution. I have executive coaching experience, and that behavior sure looked like malicious compliance.
