I just wanted to share my experience that I had with Kriegers. I had called yesterday to check on the status of my ring, the lady I spoke with (I think her name was Jamie) She was AMAZING!! She knew how much my ring meant to me and what it meant for me to have it back. She advised me that my ring would be done by 6pm and I didn't expect to get a call back when it was done because she already told me what time. However; she did call me back right at 6pm to let me know my ring was all ready. Today when I went to pick up my ring, the lady that helped me, sorry I don't remember her name, was amazing as well. She was very polite, asked me how my day was, etc. When she got my ring she complimented me on how amazing my ring looked and how it was perfect for me. Went in to get a gold chain fixed one link. Was told be $208 yes $208 lol. Need less to say I declined and left shaking my head .

I took my Diamond in that I had sized at a different jeweler. Not a very nice job. Very poor workmanship. The lady that helped me ,Deb, at kreiger jewelers was surprised at how bad it was. I have brought several rings in and I get the same story, that the prongs need to be replaced! This is obviously a game they play to get more money out of you. They also pay you crap for gold. I also had a $600 rope chain repaired more than and 6-8 months later it breaks again. It broke again this weekend, I am not bringing it back. I'll find someone else. read more

Very disappointed they don't stand behind their work. My son bought a ring from you with obvious flaws in the workmanship and instead of standing behind their work they tell this young couple that it is wear & tear... This insurance company as well as another local jeweler say this is absolutely a flaw but Krieger keeps telling us it is wear and tear. An engagement ring that has wear and tear after only 4 months of ownership is obviously not a quality piece. I'm so disappointed because I encouraged my son to support a small local business. To hear they aren't standing by their product is so disheartening. I recommended Krieger to my son... Now I am regretting my involvement . read more

I came in with my heirloom opal ring. The stone had unfortunately cracked, loosening the stone from its prongs. The jeweler examined the ring to be sure it was real opal (and worth fixing), and promptly gave me a solution and reasonable $25 charge. The glued down the stone and brought down the prong to ensure the stone's security. They returned the ring perfect and safe to wear before they're predicted time of pick up! I had a custom made bracelet made by Kriegers and they did a magnificent job. All jewelry does have some type of wear and tarev it all has to be worn correctly so you don't ruin the gold and stones. Don't wear your jewelry bathing, doing dishes or to bed. Your jewelry is precious it is just like wiping your baby's bottom. read more

BUYER BEWARE. I am in the habit of looking at reviews and figure that a few bad reviews as long as there are good reviews are probably ok as people are more likely to post about a bad experience. Our goal was to buy a ring from a locally owned retailer to help support a local business, for superior quality of the ring, and to have a company that will stand behind their work. We purchased a ring in Aug 2016. We had gone to other locally owned jewelers and Kriegers is where we found a ring that my wife liked. We had it sized to what they recommend. Found out after wearing it for a week that the sizing was too big, so had it sized down to a size that was perfect for my wife. A few weeks before the wedding in July 2017, we have the ring and band soldered together at which point they recommend sizing it up because of the added thickness to get it over the knuckle. Since they are the experts, my wife agreed to this. Move forward to Aug 11, 2017, the start of our main problem. We go into the store to have my wife's ring downsized to the size it was before the band was soldered on. We are told that it will be about a week when it will be done and they charge us $72. We followed up on Aug 17 and were told that it should be done by Aug 23. On Aug 18, we received a voicemail saying that they looked at the ring today and found that 8 of the 12 prongs holding the diamonds on the ring were in poor shape and required $140 more in additional services to build up these prongs. They asked that we contact them to let them know if they should go ahead and complete this work while they had the ring. After listening to this voicemail, we were shocked and immediately drove to the store. We explained that we had only had the ring for a year, not to mention the fact that Krieger Jewelers worked on the ring two months earlier to have the band and engagement ring soldered together and no concerns like this were brought up at that time, so we were surprised that suddenly the ring required such repair work. The person wearing the ring works a desk job and is not hard on her jewelry. The employee stated that she was not aware that the ring was so new and agreed with us that it was odd that such repair work needed to be done on a ring of this age. She told us she wanted to talk to the goldsmith further about this, and at that point went to a back room where we could see her talking to another man. When she came back, she informed us that Krieger Jewelers will treat this as a warranty issue due to us only having had the ring for barely a year and will do the repairs at no additional charge to us. We discussed the sizing of the ring again, and before leaving the store that night, the associate had told us multiple times that the additional prong work will be done at no charge, in addition to completing the original service of resizing the ring which we had requested and paid for one week prior. We were told that the ring would be ready by noon on Aug 25 instead of the original date of the 23rd we were originally promised at the time we paid for the resizing. At this point, we thought everything was taken care of and the next call would be to say the ring was ready to be picked up. On Aug 19, we received a voicemail from a manager named Deb asking us to call them back regarding the ring. We called and spoke with Deb. Deb was immediately aggressive and stated that it was our fault that the ring required service on the prongs, criticized our choice to resize the ring, and that they will not do the repair work at no charge because they are losing money on this. We questioned why we were told otherwise just the night before, and Deb told us that this employee never said the work would be done at no charge. This makes no sense as to why she would call us if we had already come to an agreement the night before with the next call supposed to be that the ring is ready. Deb said that the best they could do would be to split the difference on the prong repair work. We were shocked that Deb was telling us that everything we were told the night before was void. Because of this, we were concerned what the state of the ring would be when we get it back. We asked them to cancel all work on the ring and asked for a refund since no service was performed and dates originally promised were changed but Deb refused to issue a refund. In the end we are out this $72, but the least I can do is give back $72 worth of bad reviews for the frustration. If you choose to buy from this store, expect them to not honor the quality of their work. We will not be back. Both of our mothers have had their rings for 30+ years without issues and have not removed their rings from their hand for over 15 years so it seems odd that a ring bought within 1 year needs so much work so I question the original quality. It is sad to see a manager that blames the customer and won't honor what an employee says. Good Luck to all out there. read more

Buyer Beware-Krieger Jewelers Recently, I purchased a gift for my mother at this store. My elderly mother said the bracelet was too difficult for her to take on and off so the next day I attempted to return my purchase. I was told I could only receive an in-store credit. This is really disappointing because at no time was I told during my purchase that this was a policy. The jeweler I spoke with said it was written clearly on the receipt. My reply was that I don't see the statement until after the purchase. I left a phone number for a manager to call and received no follow up call. I had to return to the store to speak with the manager. She repeated the same policy and pointed to the posted policy. I'm sorry that I am not in the habit at looking waist level for a policy plaque posted on a swinging wooden door when I make my purchases. I asked for the owners contact information and was told by the manager that she can't give out that information. Not even an e-mail address to contact the owner. Moat places stand behind their products and allow return. Not this place. Would rather give a no star rating! read more

I have had nothing but good service from Kriegers. I started going there 8 years ago looking for an engagement ring during the hunting sale. Had great service and they explained everything, including instore credit policy. I have been going there ever since. I even moved out of state and visit only once a year to have our items checked out. Even when there was a loose prong or a diamond was damaged, they stood behind it. My wife loves the items she finds there. I would recommend them, just ask questions. read more
