Service innitially was good I thought , they low balled me really badly on a pawn loan for a .22…read morerifle , it was a 400+ dollar item and the gave me 75.00 on a loan do I thought np I could just pay it back easy and pick it back up because I have a clean record and have purchased guns several times through dunhams and other firearms sellers like Virlee gunworks . I went to pay off and pickup and they started the background and it got a delay as they sometimes do so I waited and waited then called back and they said no update , waited another week they said still no update still in delay , mind you they are perfectly able to either call again for an update or bypass it because the 3day wait was well beyond and it is completely their choice if they want to return the gun or not , but why would they ? They get to keep a 400 dollar gun for 75 what a deal eh ? I will call them one more time and if this isn't settled I will be contacting a firearms rights lawyer and persuing actions . This is just scummy behavior and I understand once the gun is in their posession it is their discretion but they is very obviously purposely done for monitary gain or just plain ignorance , I have NO record and I was always very patient with them , no raising of voice or anything erraric that would ever suggest they would have cause to keep my firearm . Instead they gave me $400.00 more than my initial ask. I was shocked and felt the had integrity. Last year I tried to sell the same jewelry at a place in Appleton and they said "$100 "and literally threw my jewelry on the counter towards me. They are trustworthy and have integrity. What a shock. I couldn't find a Yelp link for Mister Money in Appleton but I'm willing to bet the same folks own…read moreboth franchises. I bought an item off of eBay from these folks. The item was delivered quickly but it was advertised as "new". This item was previously used and heavily damaged. When I attempted to initiate the return, ebay closed my case based on the seller's word even though I provided pictures of the damage. They then demanded a receipt for an item I bought from a store outside of eBay and promised to initiate the return once I provided that receipt. I'm guessing they somehow used that receipt to "prove" to eBay (which almost always sides with sellers...$$$) that I damaged the item. It makes no sense since the other item was identical and cost $100 more. If you're going to be an unethical person who damages an item and then returns it, wouldn't you return it to the store that gives you the MOST money??? Basically, this pawn shop scammed me out of $150. I'm using this opportunity to advise folks to steer clear of this unethical business.
