The restaurant is small maybe 8 tables and countertop seating. I was told the place gets really busy and sometimes there's a wait but it's WELL worth it. I ordered one of the specials - country fried steak with eggs and home fried potatoes with a side of toast. I go the cinnamon raisin bread and all the bread is home made. Let me tell you about the bread. It was SO good! Hubby got a half order of homemade biscuits and gravy and an omelette. Everything was so good, homemade and really delicious. The menu was simple with classic diner breakfast options, and the restaurant itself had a great charm. I was actually surprised at how comfortable their "wicker" chairs were, and everything was bright and clean. The staff was great too! Even with there being a rush, they handled everything with grace, humor and kindness. For sure a team working together to keep things running smoothly. When placing my order I quickly brought up my food allergies/intolerances, as I have quite a few. I was aware that they could not 100% guarantee no cross contamination, as one severe sensitivity of mine is wheat, but after choosing my safest option (The Huron Street Special), they promised to be as safe a possible. I'm happy to say that I left without having any food reactions, neither then, nor delayed onset. So big thank you to them for that! The food was served in large portions and was absolutely delicious. The pancakes are huge and fluffy, and I rather enjoyed the home fries. I would say they are fair and moderately priced. I will definitely be returning in our next visit to town.

The service was extremely attentive and the staff was very friendly. Everything you would ever want in a friendly, casual, homey cafe. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual and very positive. There are restroom facilities available to use, if needed, before heading off to putt. I want to also say that the employees were really friendly too, which is a huge bonus. When you first walk out to the course, you will find a little putting area to practice on. Afterwards is a compact, but cute, albeit a bit run down, 18 hole putting course. I enjoyed that it had a waterfall and river as part of the ambiance, and seating everywhere. We had plenty of fun, and I'm sure we'll visit again sometime.

So happy they were open on a Saturday 9am to 12pm for pick ups. I work all week and have weekends…read moreoff so worked out great to pick up my deer. The cape was done quick I picked that up the day after I dropped my deer off. I would never expect them to hold on to my cape till I picked my meat up even though I live a hour away. When I picked up the cape there was at least 300 capes in there freezer to be picked up I couldn't believe how many deer come through those doors a day, I'm glad I could pick it up the next day to help free up there freezer space. I was going to pick it up when my deer was done being processed but I'm glad I got it when I did to help them free up there freezer space.
