You walk in the door...your eyes suddenly focus on the variety of products available: not too overwhelming but an excellent selection of just what you need! The meats are fresh, produce clean, and dry goods ready for sale. Also, a variety of gadgets meet your eyes, great for campers (like me). Then...a smiling face greets you...makes you feel like your welcome, even if they know your "not from around here". They are knowledgeable and understand how to help you best. So you have it: Selection and Service in one- Intertwined! Shopping at this IGA actually has become a part of my camping trip that I look forward to, and that's not easy to say- looking forward to grocery shopping. Frank's is one of the better ones, and they seemed to have everything you could possibly need if you're camping at Sleeper State Park. Because we packed lightly, we ran out some supplies and came here for convenience. Most of their common merchandise is reasonably priced, and they have a large beer selection. I needed more beer, and their 25-ounce Budweiser cans are priced right at $1.79, but the cases of beer were overpriced ($8.29 for a regular six-pack of Budweiser cans). They have some souvenirs too, and I got a pretty high quality Sleeper State Park coffee mug for only $5.
