They had found him running around the street on a rainy night and already had too many pets and a kid and were looking for a loving home. Rest is history. 16 years later i moved down to Orange County and am about to put my dog down. It's been the greatest blessing of my life to be a mom to my dog Jake! Thank you to the wonderful family who gave me this dog to love for the past 16 years. He's now deaf and almost completely blind and almost made it to 18 years old. I wish i could go back one more time to the park with him but he hates car rides now. He used to love this park.

I felt the "grass" and it was painful to the touch. Like a bunch of needles stabbing me. This is disappointing that the mostly dead grass is also razor sharp. I come in the morning and have found a tampon and used condom. There is plastic around the sewer grates that is torn. There is often trash by the sewer openings. There are times the poop bags have ran out for awhile not being refilled. Sometimes it floods and stinks like sewage and the dogs can get their paws black from it. When it floods bad during raining times they lock it up. Some people leave styrofoam coffee cups, poop from their dogs, and broken toys. I wished this park had a bathroom. Regulars are very nice. Benches on each side, shade from trees on one side is nice and dog/people drinking fountain. I am thankful to have it so large because I have big dogs that love to run and play.

It's a 5 star park itself, however the people make it ugly. I've seen people throw trash in the waters, leave trash on the floors, bringing their whole HORSE and have it use the water ponds as the BATHROOM, feeding the ducks French fries from McDonald's, having their KIDS play in the waters. I'd give the people a 1 star. And I could only do so much speaking out to them, it's like talking to a wall. it's sickening watching the ponds loose its water and seeing how dirty it is. It's becoming nasty because of the people. Especially seeing kids swim in it, shame on the parents.
