I searched online and found this multi-colored photo storage container which was reasonably priced at Hobby Lobby. Yes, I know I could have found something on Amazon and had it shipped same day but shopping at a physical store is no big deal for me if what I want is in stock. Since most aisles at Hobby Lobby are not clearly marked, I immediately asked the store associate where I could find this storage container. She gave me great directions; "turn left, than right, pass the pink section and then the invitations. It'll be on the left hand side". After getting sidetracked along the way, I finally found what I was looking for but could have spared myself some time and frustration had aisles been labeled or at least something on their website that tells you which aisle something is located on. I admit it's fun combing through the store and finding neat things but when you know exactly what you want, it's more of a challenge if you don't know where to look. No, I won't stop shopping at Hobby Lobby but I'll do it in those times when I have nothing but time on my hands.

Michaels- It is criminal that you took over the balloon business after Party City Closed down and…read moreyour helium doesn't even keep ballons floating for one day after purchase. Mind you, I bought the balloons in the evening, drove straight home and brought the baloons inside my home to ensure the heat from the car didn't cause them to bust or loose air. The next morning, I noticed the balloons weren't floating bery high. Thought it was because I had attached the clip given to me to a chair and I was imagining things. Nope. The darn things fell tp the ground. All 13 of them. $16 bucks of crappy balloons yall. Luckily I bought quite a few ballons so my niece held them in a picture for a backdrop for a few photos for her graduation but I was so disappointes that I wasted my time and money buying these cruddy ballons. I will NOT buy ballons from Michaels again.

This was our second experience at Rustic Brush Pearland. The first experience for Galentines day…read morewas great. We had two project leaders at that time that were great. They were patient, helpful, made the experience enjoyable and we did not feel rushed at all. We brought in our own food, wine, snacks. We snacked and had wine while doing our project and it was so much fun. I knew I wanted to book again in the near future. I booked for my birthday, and unfortunately it was a different experience this time. We had one leader, and were told the project time had been cut to 2 1/2 hours vs 3, told this when some of the girls were snacking and were encouraged to continue with the project. Well it seems the 30 min made a difference. We felt rushed, and didn't feel like the leader had as much patience with us as the other leaders did on our last visit. My unique project really didn't turn out the way I hoped it would. I was told because it had too much detail. This was fine I wasn't upset about this. I booked more so to have the fun experience we did before with friends. When we would go to grab a snack or glass of wine, we were reminded that we didn't have a lot of time and we needed to do the project and eat later because time was shorter. I don't think anyone ever commented last visit on when we snacked or had a glass of wine once. The leader took some pictures, and did take (some) time to help, however, a few of the participants just felt rushed and didn't feel like the leader has as much patience as last time. Overall I would say for what we paid for each project, some paid $100 and really didn't get what we wanted, and just feeling rushed but we're encouraged to bring food/drink I don't think it was worth what we paid honestly. I think we may choose another activity next time. Potential is definitely there, however, felt like we were kinda rushed out. Literally locked up as we were walking out. Girls felt the experience was totally different this time around unfortunately. We dined next door at Santa Barbara after and took our time. Hopefully feedback helps make the experience better for others.

I discovered the place through my friend, Greg Buchold. I had been admiring a Mardi Gras mask and wreath that he had put on his door and he told me about the place. I went looking for Mardi Gras stuff but was blown away by the extensive collection of cookbooks and design books that they sell, all discounted from retail list prices. But there was much much more. Just when I think I've seen everything there is to see in Houston, something new pops up on my radar. Check out the photos.
