Good pizza place love it but they forget my pop all the time and no diets. And my pizza today came all over the box.

It's definitely a take-out spot. Order for pickup or call for delivery.

We were told that the owner is the chef who cooks every dish, and you can really taste the fresh ingredients in the food. We've never had a bad meal here. The service is always great and very welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I highly recommend it to everyone. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out

The menu is large and eclectic, which generally makes me nervous for the food. American, Asian, seafood...and Hawaiian. I was pleasantly surprised by how good my moco loco was, as good as I've had on the island. I had some of my friend's seafood crepe. It was interesting, I enjoyed a few bits, but would not order it. Our other friends enjoyed their bibimbap and stuffed salmon. The drinks were also good, though their cocktail list appeared to be from Christmas/winter. The interior is basic and modern, I did like that they have large doors that would open in warm weather. The only negative was the the service. Despite the restaurant not being busy we waited a long time for our food. Then we had to search for our server, who did not come back to check on us, to be able to pay.

Can't the food servers put your food and napkin in a bag at the food area? I threw the napkin away! Food is ok, but they're trying to sell too many items - so it's hit and miss. Further, the pricing can be high for food that has sat, and sat - congealed. The main issue is the check-out scene. I mean you know it's not an upscale joint, but goodness for the prices a pleasant smile could help.

I ended up choosing the Mac N Cheese, Cheese Broc, and Chicken Drumlets. I chose the Mac N Cheese because I'm pretty picky with it... I know that sounds ass backwards but the slight chance I do find "the one" I always try the Mac N Cheese. This time, I'm sooooo glad I did. The text was perfect. Was creamy thick, but not too thick. It has a perfect crunch from being backed. The flavor was awesome. Definitely down south style prep. The chicken was. A great crisp cooked the perfect amount of time. I had a mix of spicy and regular. The spicy was great. I always say things can be a bit more spicy but this was a great medium for anyone to enjoy. The chicken tasted well prepared. Didn't have a freezer taste. The cheese broc was mediocre. Could have been better but could have been worse. The broc could have been seasoned a bit better. All in all, this was a hole in the wall gold mind. It is actually in side of a liquor store, so let's be honest lol. The perfect place to get a bottle and get dinner to go with it. Must try!!!!!

El Loco Panda - Birria, Chicken, and Steak Tacos

Let me start by saying: I love a great taco. Hell, I love an average taco. It might be my favorite…read morefood. I have had tacos from almost every corner of Norteamerica. The man who creates the tacos at El Loco Panda does so with love, and you can tell - Love for his culture, Love for the community. When I was waiting for my order to be wrapped up, a disciple sitting in the waiting area piped up and said, "The food here is good." If I know Detroiters (cuz I am one), we're not quick to compliment. Like Mexico, there is great diversity in what we consider to be a "taco." You have ground beef, Al pastor, chicken, sea bass, mahi mahi, vegan. You can top it with everything from queso Fresca to a refined julienne radish slaw. IDGAF! As long as it's fresh and well done, I'm here for it! My favorite here? The birria by far. The consommé served on the side is quite delicious and unexpectedly elegant, like a rose from the concrete. I feel like Loco Panda and its' chef reflects the essence of the east side of Detroit. Lemme 'splain: The tacos are hearty. They are heavy with meat and (gasp) yellow cheese sauce. So hearty, he had to double up on tortillas! He further bucks tradition and goes against the grain stylistically (soooo Detroit) and tops with red onion instead of white! Where they do that at?! Whereas you usually need to eat 3-4 street tacos from the festival trucks or Southwest to get full, you'll be full off of 1-2 of these, trust. Think like the good "real" Mac n cheese that we eat versus Kraft . Think "dressing" versus "stuffing." I think what I am trying to say is, ..... these tacos have soul. I don't even think about the fact that it's housed adjacent to a gas station. That doesn't matter to me. So long as the kitchen is clean (and it is), I'm good wit it. As a matter of fact, I take away that the food mattered more to this owner than the zip code it was cooked in (shout to subpar, high rent Bakersfield on Woodward). This is real food cooked from the heart. And quite frankly, it doesn't get any better than that.
