We were referred to Yeskas by our realtor when we purchased our home. I inquired online and told…read morethem we needed the septic pump, a new lid cap, and a new float alarm (per our inspection it needed to be replaced). I will say, they were very understanding when we had to reschedule due to our house closing being delayed and Mr. Yeska himself came out to look for the septic tank since the original owner of the home died and we did not know where it was. We appreciated this. However, when they pumped the septic, they did not mention anything about the float alarm and they said they would return to instead install a riser and not a lid. After several days without a call to discuss further, I called Yeskas and they scheduled this for a specific time. Unfortunately, the person who installed both came earlier than scheduled and no one was home. We would have preferred the float alarm be tested with us home. Of course they could not have tested it because they could not get in the house. Thankfully, we tested it ourselves and it does work. Furthermore, I was never told how much a float alarm nor the riser would be ahead of time. It is fine that the riser + float alarm were 555$ total, but no one informed me of this. In fact, the only prices I was informed of were the septic pump at 290$ with cash + the lid at 60$. Overall, I am not sure if I will be using Yeskas in the future.

Terrible... RUDE…read more.... Set up an afternoon appointment 2x's for septic cleaning due to traveling in from out of the area. Spoke to the driver about times so we would not miss them, set up a 1pm time both trips, were told they were running behind because they had this job or that job and would be over in the afternoon, perfect. Arrived at the property and the driver said they would need to reschedule for Friday( from Wed) and would get back to us or would come Friday, no call to confirm they would definitely be there. Called Friday while on our way to the house again from out of area. Told the driver by phone that we would be at the property around 10, on 9:30am phone call driver said they'd be there in the afternoon as they were in another area far away with 2 calls and busy. We left the property at 1020 to go to the hardware store down the street and we get a call the driver is at the house and will not wait for us to return. We told them to start pumping we would be right there, the driver yelled get someone else and hung up. Texted and called him back but no answer. Called the office not once did anyone answer their phones. Heard from a neighbor the owner is quite rude and this is the person we dealt with on the phone.

We discovered a leak in our basement at 8:30pm after some initial inspection we realized it was…read morecoming from our septic. We called septix and Matt was at our house by 9:30. He came and checked out septic, determined it didn't need to be pumped but we had a root growing into the line and it was clogging the system (we knew there were roots in the tank but not to that extent and are already in the process of getting a new tank). He fixed it and showed us what to look for and what to do in the future. He was super kind and informative. Seemed like an all-around good guy.
