Well I took it out for a quick shakedown today just 18 miles. All I can say is wow, It shifts so flawlessly and as quiet as a mouse. I had to look a few times to see if it did shift, Dead on. the handlebars are perfect, I have a riding partner that used to yell out to me coming out from the winery. "bend your arms bend your arms", what is he talking about? it took concentration. I had to lean in to bend my arm un-comfort-table. With the shorter bars my arms are now bent while on the top bar the hoods and the drops. I do not have to think about it.the flat top made a wider more comfortable grip way way cool. I have also never been able to ride comfortably in the drops. (mind you it was only a short trip and I spent only a mile in the drops). I went to Moped City when the horn went out on my scooter. Another place started their quote at…read more$135 per hour labor plus parts. I needed to pass safety and knew it couldn't be that hard to fix. Their mechanic wasn't in that day but the owner told me to pull in the shop and we'll see what we can do. The two of us then proceeded to take the scooter apart! We got to the horn and she tested to see if it was indeed the horn by attaching a new one and it worked confirming the horn was bad. While I was there i decided to put on the new turn signal I had with me. I then passed my safety inspection with flying colors. The Mother/Daughter team at Moped City made me feel welcome and like family. After all of their assistance and their time, I wasn't charged for labor at all since I did the work with them. It saved me well over $300! Moped City is now my go to place when it comes to fixing my scooter. No nonsense problem solving at its best!

Maui Sunriders Bike Shop in Kihei has a solid reputation, but my first experience with them was…read moredisappointing due to a preventable reservation issue. I reserved an e-bike on December 21 for a Christmas Day ride, with a return on the 26th. Their online system let me submit the reservation without any warnings or restrictions. But when I showed up to pick it up, I was told they wouldn't rent it to me because they're closed on the 25th, and someone else had the bike booked on the 26th. They also said they needed time to tune the bike in between. That explanation is understandable. What's not understandable is that nobody told me ahead of time. If they had reached out earlier, I could have adjusted the plan. I didn't even mind paying for an extra day to make it work. The bigger issue is that the reservation system shouldn't allow you to book dates that can't actually be fulfilled. I'm open to giving them another try, but they really need to fix the reservation process and communication so customers don't find out at pickup that the rental can't happen.

We quickly filled out a rental agreement then they gave us the rundown in operating an E-bike and answered question. They provided locks and backpacks for our water. They would have also provided helmets if we wanted them. Jeffery and staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and efficient. This will definitely be our "go to" place for bike rentals in the future. Thanks for a great time!!

They fit you with everything you need, from gloves, to backpacks, to jackets, you name it. I loved the tour information on the way up, particularly the suggestions on where to stop along the way. Shoutout to our guide who was super friendly and full of information; I believe his name was Matius. Also, being a late riser, I appreciated that our tour didn't start at the crack of dawn. The first section of the mountain you fly down; I managed to reach speeds of almost 35mph! The second section of the ride allows you to stop and shop. I enjoyed the self-paced aspect of this tour. Overall, if you're looking for something fun to do with lots of scenery along the way, Maui Sunriders is the way to go!

Within the first three weeks of ownership, the bicycle became inoperable due to what we believe to be a manufacturing defect. We promptly returned the bicycle to your service department for warranty repair. At that time, we were informed that a replacement part had been ordered and would resolve the issue. We have since been advised that the part was ordered approximately five months ago. To date--six months after our initial purchase--the bicycle remains unrepaired and unusable. During this period, your company has failed to provide timely updates or proactive communication. We have been required to initiate all follow-up inquiries ourselves, and our repeated requests for resolution, including a refund, have not been adequately addressed. The prolonged delay in repair, lack of communication, and failure to provide a functional product constitute a substantial inconvenience and a failure to honor the warranty in a commercially reasonable timeframe. Our son has been deprived of the use of the bicycle for the vast majority of the time since purchase. Accordingly, we hereby formally demand a full refund of the purchase price. If this matter is not resolved promptly, we will consider pursuing all remedies available to us under applicable consumer protection and warranty laws. We trust that your company will act in good faith to resolve this matter without further delay.
