I went on a road trip. A looooong road trip. I calculated an estimated 8,300 miles. After it was over I learned from my odometer it was 9,801 miles. In the initial planning stages, I knew based on the mileage on my 2022 Subaru that I'd need an oil change somewhere around North Dakota or Montana. I looked up Subaru dealerships along Interstate-90 in those states. I decided on Kramer Subaru based on nothing but the mileage on my odometer and the distance I calculated traveled during my road trip. While spending the night in a motel in Fargo, ND, I called Kramer Subaru and verified that I could pop in for an oil change the next day. The person who answered said it would be best to make an appointment, but I told them I couldn't because I didn't know what time I'd be arriving. The next morning I drove through freezing rain on the interstate for hours, a few times having to slow down to 35 mpg just to keep from spinning out on the ice on the road. When I arrived at Kramer Subaru my car was covered in ice. I told them a bit of my story. Road trip to Seattle (to start with) and that I'd just driven in from Fargo. They seemed a bit perplexed, and the service employee who helped me (Michael) said they were supposed to have an insurance specialist drive in from Fargo that morning, but he called and said he couldn't make it because the roads were too icy. I wanted to ask if he was not driving a Subaru, but I refrained. Kramer Subaru was amazing. Their service was super-quick for a pop in, and they were exceptionally helpful, even looking up the weather westward for me and giving me tips for driving into Montana. The price for the oil change was less than what I used to pay for oil changes on my old VW Passat 4-Motion. If I'm ever in Mandan, ND again, I'd go back to Kramer Subaru for sure...but since I never will be, I can at least leave this review in gratitude for a great experience. read more

This review is about 7 months overdue The service at this dealership is exceptional, above, and beyond. I am from the east coast. My daughter was traveling across the country when her car broke down in the Dakotas. It was a mess. The head gasket went, and the engine was damaged. Due to the warranty my daughter went ahead with the repairs, but it was a waiting game because of the extent, and my daughter had to be at a job in Wyoming. The manager Brad Williams, and his crew helped my daughter, and me every step of the way. Calls were returned promptly. Clear communication was given. I just can't thank Brad, and his staff enough for helping my daughter out of a very tough jam that could have been made worse, but instead went as smoothly as possible thanks to this exceptional staff. read more

Bought a new 2022 Subaru Outback Touring from Kramer. Worst experience I've had in my 50 years of buying vehicles. Main relay fried two times since I bought the car (5500 miles) and had to be hauled to Kramer twice. The service here is HORRIBLE! I ended up selling this car back to them and I was treated rudely, lied to, promised things that never happened, and at the end of my nightmare was promised a check for my vehicle would be "expedited" and didn't show up for two weeks. I called Jenny who cut the check and she said Kye never told her anything about expediting a check. If you're considering buying a Subaru, I think you making a good choice. If you're considering buying from Kramer Subaru in Mandan, ND, you need to run away fast! I can't stress strongly enough - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM unless you want the worst experience you've every had! You'll be treated like royalty during the buying process, but once the deal is closed, you'll feel like you're having a nightmare - except it'll be reality! read more

Kupper offers an additional discount to the Subaru company for military and so it was a no brainer for us to get our Forester from them. Ask for Charlie! He is a no pressure laid back salesman- just as nice as could be. He lets the car speak for itself but he was knowledgeable about it, informing us about the car and the company as we took it out on a test drive. He also drove it up to Minot to deliver it to us after our purchase and gave us some hands on training. Couldn't have asked for an asked for a better transaction. The company was very concerned that we get trained on all the tech and called several times to check up on us and invite us in to receive a free $50'gas card in order to train us further on it but unfortunately we couldn't make it down to Bismarck again. We love our 2018 Subaru Forester an have already put over 7000 miles on her as we moved cross country! If we are ever back in North Dakota and in the market for a new Subaru we will definitely be going to Kupper Subaru and we hope Charlie will still be there. read more

We waited until we had the car for at least 6 months before we felt like we could give Subaru a proper review. Now that those 6 months have come and gone. I will say that we are VERY happy with our Subaru B9 TriBeCa 2008. Joe Guches knew that we needed our car in a timely fashion, so he pulled some strings to make that happen, we really appreciated it! In the past 8 months, we've put almost 40k miles on the car (we like to travel a lot). And there still hasn't been one bump in the rd with our Subaru (knock on wood). Plus, the car is absoutely great in the snow, which was just in time for this treacherous ND winter. I wasn't sure how I felt about Subaru cars before this, but now I'm SOLD.
