I was told the transmission needed rebuilding, the front hub needs repairing and the radiator need replacing also, I agreed for them to do the repairs. They repaired the items they discussed with me quickly, I have no problems with that. What really got me is when the owner's daughter ( the receptionist) called and told me to get my truck off their lot today. I went in paid the remaining balance only to find out it was an incomplete repair. The technician that worked on my truck was no longer worked there and the owner stated that it was in great working condition. After inspecting my truck I was not able to get it into 4 wheel drive, the gear selector was not working and antifreeze was all over the radiator not sure it was leaking or sloppy work. I will update according to what was done about this incident.

Doug went above and beyond in rearranging his schedule to make this happen, and was always a gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. The price quoted was absolutely fair for the amount of labour that was involved in performing a full evaluation of the Jeep. Fortunately there were no serious red flags with the vehicle, which allowed the sale to proceed but he did find a few issues that the dealer will address before I pick it up. A big thanks to Doug and his wife. When I pick the Jeep up I will stop down to personally thank him and shake his hand for going out of his way. While there are many honest and skilled mechanics out there, one that offers excellent customer service and goes above and beyond in a pinch is a gem to find, and Northland Performance is definitely a gem.

Called good ol Northland and Derek said he would warranty the part but not the labor. Asked why not and was told he wouldn't honor the labor cause I gave him a bad review 6 months earlier. They Put the tires on (which I had bought and had delivered to the shop) and didn't put new valve stems on so they blew out the next year on my way to the local tire shop when I realized why my tires kept going flat. 1/4 mile drive... I also had an oil change kit in the trunk from FCP EURO with good oil and filter and asked them to use it and they used shop oil and filter. There was literally no point in me driving 7 hours round trip to try and get my car serviced by a good Euro shop when I got better service from a Local tire shop and I can do my own oil changes and inspections. Complete waste of money. I did find an unmolested Saiga .223 at the pawn shop nearby and get some good food while I was waiting though, so I guess that's a plus. Also You'd be surprised how much of a Costco haul you could fit in a Z3 roadster (top up) if you really try.

The manager was a rude, mean, extremely pushy, and highly unprofessional person. We wanted an inspection, but they did a diagnostics test. We learned from a professional mechanic all you need is a visual inspection, which is far cheaper. They would not even give us our car back unless we had "a talk" with the owner. No company should make you do this! We then called the police, and then they changed their tune and gave us our car back. Avoid this car shop!
