It was my niece's birthday. She loves BTS. Especially Jungkook. We came here to find her some Kooky swag. The love for BTS is shown here. I love BTS too!! Funny thing is K-Pop Music Depot is located next to this wings joint that my SIL frequently comes to. I gone with her for lunch during that time haha. We were able to find a cute Kooky shirt that was 50% Thank goodness my niece is only 8 years old so size small was perfect for her. Also got her a cute Kooky plush. My bias is RM so I got Koya car freshner. He's so cute! After it stops working, I am going to keep it and place at my BTS corner at home lol. we likely have spent $1800+ here and this place is where I take my girl every week after every Friday or Saturday. The owners are super friendly and nice and give out freebie. One of the lady who isn't the husband or wife and likely just a worker or family friend doesn't know the K-pop selection well. I was recently in Atlanta for work, and I found K-Pop Story by searching on Google Maps for K-Pop stores. My work colleague tagged along with me and my fellow Stray Kids bestie for our visit--I wasn't sure what to expect because there are two K-Pop stores right near where I work back home, but this one definitely blew them out of the water with their vast selection of both albums and merch. As Stray Kids fans, my friend and I fangirled over the epic selection of SKZOO plushies in the front of the store, much to the amusement of my work colleague. After purchasing a limited edition 5-Star album and a few SKZOO plushies, the woman at the counter, who I assumed was the owner, asked who my SKZ bias was. To my surprise and delight, she gave me a free official photocard of Bang Chan! Apparently, they give a free photocard for every album purchase and free posters depending on how much you've spent. I definitely wish we had a K-Pop store like K-Pop Story where I live! I'm not sure when I'll be back in Atlanta but I'll definitely be back whenever that will be! Turns out there's not much to do in Suwanee Georgia so my uncle (lol) saw a K-POP store on a drive one day and recommended that I check it out. There was not a single Korean person in the store, aside from the store owners, but I recommend because it looks like the items are curated by true K-POP fans. There were a loot of albums there & most of the plush items seemed like BT21 but whether for you or for a friend, I think you can find what you're looking for. I have been coming to this store for a year now. I absolutely love it! The owners are the sweetest people ever! They are so genuine. I find that this store sells albums closer to face value than other stores. Every time I am in Georgia, I make my stops! It never fails that I find what I'm looking for and more! the store was right next to my college so it was convenient location wise. i'm a stickler on prices, so usually order my albums on amazon for the cheapest options, but hers were GREAT. i got my yellow wood album for $16.99 when most stores have it for $20 or higher. my got7 album was only $19.99 which was shocking since 'call my name' is a recent release. it wasn't just the two albums i got, but i saw LOTS of albums that actually had the preorder benefits taped to tbem if they came with them, even if the album was like a year old. i thought that was pretty awesome since i haven't seen any other store do that, and yet the prices are still low and reasonable for coming with the album and its preorder benefit. the store it spacious and well organized (unlike some other kpop stores in atlanta ) and it was really so easy to find everything. the store owner is such a sweet woman and she helped me with everything with a smile on her face. being that i was so comfortable, it made me wanna stay in there longer and really take my time looking. i'm not sure if there's a price limit you i got to choose a have to reach, but i spent over $20, so i got to choose a free poster and got cd with some kpop event that happened on it. i really enjoyed my time there and am DEFINITELY coming back! read more

This place is amazing. My friends and I drove from Mobile, AL to attend a concert in Atlanta and were lucky enough to find this place. They have so much stuff. Lots and lots of posters! And they also do pre-orders for new albums, which is really fantastic. And the owners were incredibly nice! Being in this store was like being in heaven! Something that I really liked was that they had a TV which happened to be playing BTS videos, so we got to listen and watch while we were shopping. I got a pillow, some K-Pop socks, a cup, and a bracelet, and when we were checking out they also gave us some free DVDs, which was really cool of them. And they also gave us Korean candy. I would definitely make the five hour drive just to come back to this store and get more K-Pop merch! Will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Atlanta. read more

I'm giving this location a 3 Star because of the following: 1. Lack of curb appeal - I circled a few times around to find it tucked away in a small plaza. It's also not easy to get out of the parking lot, traffic is heavy at certain times of the day. 2. Merchandise - As I looked around the store, there wasn't much room to walk around comfortably without worrying about bumping or knocking things over. The store name is right, they do supply the customers with every album for the Kpop groups, from their first to recent, as well as, the group light sticks for concerts. However, the smaller items (posters, stickers, pictures, buttons, etc.) are not worth the ink it's printed on. Much of the small pics seems as though they printed them from online. And then pricing them at a high cost of $4.99-8.99. Also, they have a tiny amount of items for each of the groups except for EXO. I'll assume someone is a big fan of the group. lol 3. Customer service - There were a large group of females all shopping inside, but the owners were only paying attention to certain customers. Like myself and some others, when we asked questions about certain items, we were either ignored or they struggled to speak to us. A few more people arrived looking to purchase videos with no subtitles. When we asked if we could purchase them, we were told that we wouldn't understand so they could not sell to us. Okaaaaay... My conclusion is that this store is not opened to the general public, but more so a local hangout spot or to supply Kdrama/Korean movies to friends and family. If you are a die hard fan of Kpop, like me, please do stop in to get your fix for the music, but I cannot guarantee if your experience will lead you back. read more
