The owner insisted that I was wrong and it was not returned the following day to me and did not take any responsibility. As a fellow small business owner, I am sensitive to persons lashing out at any business for not having satisfactory service but this was outrageous, especially being a woman and having a man - that is the owner - speak to me in such a demeaning way - I would never deal with this company again.

Our insurance adjuster recommended Professional Fire Restoration, as they would clean to get rid of the smoke smell and they would do the reconstruction we needed, basically replacing drywall and the door. We were told to have them submit the bill to insurance. They arrived and spent 4 days here cleaning our mud room, kitchen, bathroom, and living room - 4 rooms total. They cleaned everything on the shelves and steamed our curtains and furniture. House looked nice! A few days later, we got a call from them saying they had no one to do the repairs. It was April and we had a hole through the wall- we needed to have it done! We finally hired another company who was able to get the job done. A couple of weeks later, we got 2 checks from the insurance company. One was made out to us AND Professional Fire Restoration for almost $6000. The other was enough to cover the construction company and the electrician we needed to hire. I don't think what Professional Fire Restoration did was worth that much. I have called several times asking for an itemized invoice so I can see how they come up with that figure. Every time, I have left a message with my name, phone number, and e-mail address. I always am told someone will get back to me. I have yet to get a response from them. Needless to say, I don't think I would recommend them to anyone. I hope you never have need for their services, but if you do, hire some other company!

I should have chosen my own company. It was a hassle dealing with this guy. His prices on repairs seem to exceed cost of fixing repairs. I was forced to water down repairs. It resulted in paying more for claim. The reason I allowed Hector to do the work, my insurance guy insisted everything would be warranted. A few months after work was performed, there was an issue. A basement stair had broken. It didn't happen to be one they repaired. Hector refused to fix it. I was not happy with insurance guy/Hector.
