Having just done some laundry I picked up a sewer odor -- he didn't initially catch it but then going to the sewage pipes said I might have a small blockage and recommend I call Vadney's. After he left I gave them a ring. It was picked up immediately and the dispatcher sent two guys over immediately. (They are based in Delmar, so it was quick.) Two very nice guys -- patient with my dog. They went downstairs and quickly diagnosed the issue and were careful to call me down into the basement to check what they were doing and then explained the cleaning operation. They were in and out of here in ~ 35 minutes. It was good I called, as the issue was a build up of food grease and soap scum that had solidified and needed to be broken up and flushed out -- it wasn't an immediate problem but I averted a problem not far around the corner. Very friendly, polite. patient and anxious that I understood exactly what they were doing -- major points for directness and honesty. I am very impressed and it's great to know that they are in Delmar.
