Kourosh performed at a wedding shower we hosted, and we truly could not have asked for a better entertainer. His performance was captivating, interactive, entertaining, and incredibly impressive. Our guests were absolutely amazed and continued talking about the experience long after the celebration ended. Kourosh has a remarkable ability to engage guests of all ages and create genuine moments of wonder, laughter, and connection. He was also highly professional and brought tremendous passion and care to his performance. We are so grateful that he was part of such a special day and would gladly recommend him to anyone looking to add something truly magical to their event. Kourosh put on the most amazing, fun and mind-bending show for my husband's birthday! K is wonderfully entertaining as well as extraordinarily talented - I can't even begin to imagine or understand how he does the incredible tricks and mind-reading he does. He also used my husband as his "assistant" for some of the show, making it that much more magical and fun for him. If you are looking to make your event incredibly special, entertaining and memorable, Kourosh is your answer! He is also super easy to work with, responsive and a lovely person all around. read more

Absolutely superb and highly recommended! I hired Kourosh for my 40th birthday celebration. When I reached out a couple months ago, he communicated and listened well to what I wanted for the event, gave me several options for his act, was incredibly gregarious, and answered my million and one questions. He kept in touch on logistics and details as the event drew near, and on the day of, he arrived early. He is incredibly talented, funny, sharp, and a crowd pleaser. We were all left amazed and puzzled at how he pulled off the magic tricks. He wowed us all (even the more skeptical ones who now believe in the power of magic) and delivered an exceptional, seamless performance. read more

K has now performed at two events at our home, and both times he absolutely knocked it out of the park. He has a fantastic way of giving an event that extra pop and keeping guests engaged, entertained, and talking long after the party is over. After our most recent event, we were already getting texts from our guests saying how great he was. Not only is K incredibly talented, but he's also professional, personable, and a pleasure to work with. He truly helped make both celebrations a huge success, and I can't recommend him highly enough. read more

K performed close up, strolling magic at my birthday party. He blew us all away! I received so many compliments from my friends for an amazing party, but really it was all due to his performance. It was so much fun and brought all of my friends (many of whom did not know each other beforehand) much closer. In addition, while scheduling/coordinating my party he was highly responsive and organized. He made it very easy to arrange everything! I would highly recommend his services. read more

I hired K for my daughter's birthday celebration, and the response from our guests was overwhelmingly positive. He was an absolute hit, leaving everyone amazed and thoroughly entertained. After the birthday party was over, I got several compliments about how impressed they were of the magician because how intricate he was and how they couldn't figure out how he pulled off any of his illusions! I am so glad I hired K! He is a crowd pleaser and a true magician (a master of his craft), NOT one of those knock off Temu/Wish/Alibaba magician. 10 of 10! Will hire again! read more

Kouroush was absolutely FANTASTIC! He managed to keep 25 13y-os off their phones for 2 hours - talk about an unheard of feat! We hired him for my twins' B'nai Mitzvah and he thoroughly entertained the adults and young people. I forewarned him that he would have a bunch of skeptics with my son and his friends and he delivered. He strolled around and interacted with small groups. We also had him do a 30 minute show where he brought people up to do tricks with him. I really appreciated his flexibility because this combination worked really well for our event. From a logistics perspective, it was great to work with Kouroush. He was very personable and engaging. It was very easy to communicate with him - he responded promptly and answered all questions. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him without any reservations. read more

People are really magicians? As like, their profession??? YES! Kourosh is not only an engaging and friendly individual, he is a MAGICIAN. I've never been so amazed (and frankly, confused) as to how he performs some of the coolest illusions and tricks I've ever seen. I've been lucky enough to see him in a casual setting just making people laugh and be wowed, but have also hired him to work an important corporate event with my company. He's absolutely fantastic either way. Kourosh wows in a variety of settings and can really get a crowd going. He goes with the flow of the people in the room and can get everyone around him excited. As a "strolling magician" I saw him constantly pulled into new groups from those who's socks were just blown off! If you're looking for something/someone to make your next event a hit, and to keep your guests talking... HIRE HIM!!! I can't say enough nice things and only hope others have an opportunity to experience his magic. read more

I first worked with Kourosh for a wedding and what a unique and wonderful experience. He was able to connect effortlessly with guests, creating moments of laughter, awe, and even a little suspense. It's rare to see a performer who can not only amaze with their craft but also make you feel like you're a part of the magic itself. Absolutely AMAZING!!! Kourosh did an hour long show (as agreed) for a 60th birthday. Afterwards (and well into clean up) we were STILL trying to figure out HOW what he did was possible. We were all amazed, entertained and I as host am so appreciative of Kourosh and his communication before the event. It was short notice and it all worked out. I would recommend Kourosh for your next event, and an already trying to figure the same for myself. THANK YOU for an unforgettable evening. read more

Kourosh aka "K" was fantastic! My best friend hired him for a family birthday party and he did an amazing job of engaging the group in a funny, kind & charismatic way! Kourosh performed for my wife's baby shower and my son's 2nd birthday party. I felt very comfortable in booking Kourosh as he was very detailed in what he could offer and what I was looking for. Communication was excellent. Kourosh's show and talent is top notch! I've been a magic fan my entire life and have been to quite a few shows in the DC area and Kourosh absolutely lived up to the hype. Kourosh is very personable which my guests enjoyed and received many compliments after the show. I would absolutely book him again. read more

We wanted something a bit different during our cocktail our at our wedding, so we found Kourosh to perform some magic for us and our guests. Kourosh was awesome - he was easy to talk to, was communicative with our wedding coordinator, and far exceeded our expectations. As the other reviews say, he's friendly, entertaining, engaging, and performs at a very high level. I think it's worth reiterating his skill level. The illusions he performed for us were unbelievable. We've been hearing from our guests since our wedding about the different things he pulled off - even the skeptics and amateur magicians were extremely impressed. I would highly recommend him for any event - his magic brings groups of people that may not know each other together and provides a common, interesting experience for them to discuss with each other. Hiring Kourosh for our wedding was probably the best decision we made! read more

I'd had a fever dream vision of my birthday dinner party including a professional entertainer who could make us all laugh AND dazzle us with acts of illusion. There were a lot of profiles for "comedy magician" in DC, but Kourosh's profile, website, and personalized response to my event listing stood out. He was consistently proactive about contacting me, checking in event logistics, and the fact he phoned me in the first place to establish if he was the right personality for my event and friends established a lot of confidence with me. He kept me updated on logistics and timing on the day of the party, as he was coming from another show, and he was able to accommodate that our party schedule was a bit flexible, and some of our guests late (he had a hilarious idea for a joke for when the late guests walked in during his show). The show itself had my guests and I screaming laughing, and a couple of my friends genuinely perturbed at the powers of this "warlock" - some dazzling sleights of hand (which I won't spoil). Kourosh is clearly at ease with a big group of party goers, he gets to know them, and makes them feel included (e.g. he got me, the birthday girl, up a couple of times, as well as each of my friends to participate). Some of my friends were initially a little puzzled at my insistence on a COMEDY MAGICIAN but they were blown away and messaging me the morning after, "That was the best party I ever went to and that magician was AMAZING." Thanks Kourosh for helping to make my birthday so hilarious and memorable. read more

Seriously book Kourosh for your next event. We had him perform at our rehearsal dinner and he was the hit of the event, that is after my wife and I. If you want just an okay party or event than do not book Kourosh, but if you want an awesome event that your guests will be talking about well after dust has settled than have K walk around doing interactive magic. He had our guests at the edge of their seats the entire time and his presence is casual he just interacted with our guests and worked off the energy of the room. Seeing magic on tv or on stage is one thing, but being part of the trick is just a whole new level of cool. This is my warning to adults and children, his magic is addictive, if you take part in his magic than you'll want to go back time and time again. I highly recommend Kourosh "The Magic Man" for your next event, he is more than worth it. read more

Kourosh Taie - Magicians Near Me

See all

Well...you're going to lose some sleep over Kourosh Taie. And your insomnia might last for a long time. His brand of mentalism and magic stays with you long after he leaves you. "How did he do it?" You'll be asking that again and again. You'll be calling up your guests in the middle of the night, weeks after the event--it's okay...they are awake, too, asking themselves the same thing. He really is amazing. Charismatic, dashing, quick-witted and clever-as-hell. He absolutely made our night. read more

I saw Kourosh at the Barracks Row Festival and he did not disappoint! He has a super fun personality while performing and people were flocking to him to see him and his tricks. He fooled all of us each time and we kept following him around to see more, he seemed to be one of the more popular things at the event. As an entertainer I would hire him if I had any sort of event. What was fun about him was that he was a little more adult with his sense of humor and magic, at the same time he would switch it up when kids came by. He's not a cheesy children's magician, this is someone you would want mostly for adults. I can only hope to see him again again soon!!! read more
