Amazing Kayaking and Paddle Boarding. JM is traffic! Tons of passion. My daughter loves it!

The email reply from them and rest of my emails are ignored.

The worst customer service. When you call the phone number it goes to message stating to email them. When you email them they give vague and ambiguous statements. When you purchase the Groupon no where does it state weekdays only. Kostal paddle claims to be sold out for all of August weekends. I requested August 26 and August 27 or August 20 which are weekend And this was in the end of July. I bought this for my cousin birthday gift. Now I am embarrassed in front cousin of since establishment won't give a appointment to kayak. I emailed several times asking anytime is fine early morning like 7 am but on a weekend. Now the kostal paddle is ignoring my emails. Treating Groupon customers as second grade. I would never give my money to Kostal paddle with Groupon or without.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay safe, enjoy nature and be out on the water. JM, the owner & guide, was very accommodating and provided a private 2 1/2 hour solo tour for me. Whether you're by yourself or with a group, he's got all the equipment and expertise you'll need, as well as ideas around the Clearwater/ Palm Harbor and places behind where he can take you.

Awesome spot to paddle out of. I've done both kayaking and paddle boarding with Kostal. Their island park spot is cool too. Staff is super friendly and helpful even if you don't want a lesson they'll answer and questions you have if it's your first time. I've met up with groups here to paddle out together and it's a really good time. Not to mention cheaper rental pricing than anywhere else I've been.

Hi, I would like to try kitesurfing lessons, please let me know if you provide equipment and what would be the cost for one intro lesson and for a novice package?

Right now we do not offer kiteboarding lessons. Please try Best kite school.

The website provided all the information we needed to be prepared for our adventure. Upon arrival, Joe and Connor got us fitted with our safety vests and our kayaks and then gave us lessons on how to use the paddle, get in/out of the kayak and provided general navigation and waterway guidance; from there we were off and loving life! We kayaked in Cold Spring Harbor just behind the lab and had an awesome time. It was so relaxing and quiet as we glided across the water. Joe led us in the front and Connor picked up the rear so we always felt safe and in good hands. Since this was our first time, we opted for a 1hour lesson/tour and Joe told us that most of his customers, at the end of the tour, say they wanted more time. We all felt the same way and can't wait to go back. If you're thinking about kayaking... go for it and definitely do it with JK Kayak & SUP. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Joe and Connor for such a fun afternoon!!!

It was built in 1850 and then rebuilt in about 1868 because of heavy wind and sea damage. A very cool place that some people say is haunted. Of course many lighthouses are said to be haunted because they are spooky places but this one has a reason for the weirdness. The light gets it's name from the revolutionary war. The story or legend has it that England become embarrassed by public executions because the defiant colonist would scream out nasty things about the king before being hung. So the British decided to kill the recalcitrant rebels in private. They took them out here and chained them to the rocks that the light was eventually built on and let the tide come it and drown them. I have even heard that this was the main inspiration for part of the the Declaration of Independence. Of course the ghosts of the rebels could never find peace and still inhabit tha area. I don't know how true the story is but the rocks and lighthouse are a cool place to kayak. The sound narrows and is only about four miles across so it is an easy yak to get from Connecticut to New York. I've stopped at the rocks many times, never seen any ghosts but it is a convenient place to stop and take a leak. A light with a spooky history

From the time we signed up, to the time we boarded the plane to return home, TEP took care of every detail. We commented amongst ourselves that we felt like kids on vacation with our parents, as we didn't have to worry about any of the details - just show up and follow Neptali (our guide). From airport pickup in Cusco in luxury Mercedes vans where we were promptly served Coca tea to help with the altitude acclimation, to group dinners at amazing Peruvian restaurants, to historical tours and education on the history of the Inca - everything was covered and taken care of for us. And that was all before the amazing trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! Of course the trek itself was the highlight of the trip, and although it was extremely challenging for us, TEP's unbelievable attention to detail did not fail us on the trail. With nearly a 2:1 porter to trekker ration, our every need was met on the trail. We dined like kings every meal, and were consistently amazed with the quality (and nutritional appropriateness) of the food our chef and sous chef were able to put out with minimal kitchen conveniences. The thing I felt was most special about TEP's approach to this trip was the focus on gaining a cultural and historical appreciation for what we were experiencing. Every step along the way, we learned about the native people of Peru, the Inca civilization, the many ruins we came across, the vegetation we saw and how it was and is used, and the history of modern Peru. It was the trip of a lifetime, and have the help of The Explorer's Passage made it so much more enjoyable, and so much more memorable. The value of what they provide is amazing for the cost....rather, for the investment. I highly recommend them!
