I went by here to see if a rock repair was feasible. To big of a chip. He called me back to schedule and I opted for an at home visit. It rained in the day of the scheduled visit so he asked me to come in. He could have done the repair in my garage but I thought ok. He also told me it was $15 extra using a card versus cash. Ok. Steep fee but ok. I dropped off my car and he said it would be done in an hour. I decided to grab a bite. He did call me back within the hour. It also seems that he is a one man show so he does the repairs and customer service. It took a minute to finalize the pick up. Overall he was cordial and friendly.

Safelite replaces my windshield 3 years ago. Took 4 appointments for them to finally get a…read morewindshield that wasn't damaged in transport. So a month of my time. I finally demand that they put in an OEM windshield. ( I later find out that they try to use only their own glass, that they make instead of OEM) 3 years later, my BCM module and Harness on my truck goes bad from water corrosion. Which is determined to be from a bad windshield seal. Over $4000 later after having my BCM module and Harness replaced, which caused me to be stranded out of state for a month, I know have to have the windshield replaced again, so that I don't have to deal with another BCM module going bad from water damage. If you have a choice of using Safelite or having your genitals worked over with steel wool full of broken glass.....I suggest you use the second, less painful option.

After multiple delays and an initial pickup where the check engine light promptly returned--requiring me to bring the car back--I was met with a lack of professionalism when I expressed concerns about both the delays and the fact that the vehicle was returned without the turbo reinstalled. These are valid safety and performance issues, yet Shirita was dismissive, confrontational, and unwilling to engage in a constructive conversation. When I requested contact information for her superior to escalate the matter, I was told to "find it myself on the website." For the record, Will--if this review finds you--your contact information was not, in fact, on the website. Customer service should be about more than just fixing the vehicle--it should also include respectful and responsive communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

The next morning on the way to work the Palisade alerted a "Overheat" indication. The radiator support bracket was replaced, so most likely they took the radiator out to replace the bracket. They forgot to replenish the coolant. They said " It's ready to go" After nine weeks, you would think this vehicle would be "Perfect". Nope! The worst part was the Palisade went to LaFontaine Hyundai in Livonia to have the front harness replaced and the coolant system could have been properly serviced. We went in, and the guy at the counter was beyond helpful. He listened to her tell her experience, came outside in the high heat and humidity and looked at her car in the parking lot. He got down on the ground and slid under it, repositioning a plastic guard that was loose and hanging down, and said things looked otherwise ok. Just the cosmetic damage to the bumper and fender. We offered to pay him but he declined. She is on her way to Texas now, and we are so grateful for the service and kindness we received. Would recommend and would return.
