I dropped off a screen as a template to have a same size glass window made. Mr. Britt re-screened my screen and made a perfect replica of the screen into a window that fits exactly into my 3 season room. The workmanship is so noticeable and the window is nicely made. I also asked him to cut 3 glass shelves and they were made exactly as specified. He had an unexpected busy week but still managed to have my order done as promised. I was very delighted with the service that I received here. I went in late on a Friday before a holiday weekend and I was still able to get my window repaired and ready the same day. I was even accommodated by having the owner come out to get the broken window out of the car. The window was well repaired and sealed. I would truly return and recommend! It was my first time using them. I needed to rescreen a couple patio doors and a window. The people there were super friendly, and the turn around time was quick - 1 day. The screens were dirty and loose. When I (reluctantly) pointed this out to the woman working there, she said that the dust was from their table. It was then that I noticed how dirty the place was, and all the items for customer pick up looked dirty. She tried to clean them with a damp cloth, but I ended up spending a half an hour myself cleaning them at home. I also noticed the edges weren't trimmed very well. Next time I'll go to Home Depot, buy the mesh and spline and do it myself. If I'm going to spend time on the screens after getting them back from them for crappy loose dirty screens might as well as do it myself in the first place. They get great marks for initial friendliness and turnaround time, but the quality of work sucks - and I'm really not that hard to please. That's why I'm giving 2 stars. read more

We purchased a new TV but unfortunately the legs were too long for our TV stand. We looked at buying a new tv stand but could not find any reasonably priced stands that were modern-styled. We went to Canton Glass and they were extremely friendly and made suggestions about what type of glass we should use. They told us that colored glass would be expensive and suggested that we just paint the glass with Rustoleum Ultra matte - it was quick and would have the same look as colored glass for a fraction of the price. We drew out the pattern of the shape of the glass and brought it in to them. They gave us a price of $100! It was less than a local shop wanted to charge us just to come out and measure the glass (a 20 minute task). They said we'd have the glass finished within a couple of days. They called us the next morning - the glass was ready! We took it home - perfect fit. We painted it and put it on the stand - you would never know it didn't come from the factory that way! read more

I drove by this business for years and finally visited it recently when I was in market for having some glass cut. We wanted two oval glass tabletops custom cut for our new nightstands. The representative were so helpful and professional. She advised us early that she would give us the best price that she could considering it was a custom glass cut, and she did just that! The quote we received was very reasonable and far less than their local competitor. We saved sooo much money! Their service was fast and the final product was PERFECT! We love our glass tabletops and now were are looking for other projects that could benefit from the protective glass touches. I set up an appointment for my window to get measured back in July. They gave me an estimate and I paid half down so they could order my window on August 5th. It came in 2 weeks later as promised. After that I have been calling for an install date. Sharon told me that she would call me 24 hours before install. Today I get a call from them and they said they were at my house twice and nobody answered. I said I didn't get a call 24 hours before or today when you were at the house as promised. I have been waiting a month for my new window and now they say it has to be rescheduled and of course they can't tell when. I'm so disappointed with this company and their service. read more

I brought in a large vanity mirror to be cut into 3 mirrors for a more updated look. This company did a great job cutting the mirror to the exact dimensions that I gave them, and the job was done quickly and at a fair price. I will definitely use them again. read more

I called on a friday to get a price for a window replacement for my house. I gave them the window dimensions and told them that the window is above the entry door and they gave me a qoute for 425$ window+labor. One week later 2 guys came to my house to take the dimensions themselves(same dimensions and window location that I gave them over the phone). After anothet 5 days I gave them a call back to see when they plan to come and replace my window. An annoyed lady answered my call and she told me that my price suddenly jumped to a whopping 1,080$. I asked why the price changed so dramatically and I was told because of the location and "special tools" that they don't have. If you don't have those "special tools" you shouldn't be in this business. Is this your way to rip off people? I already called GLASS UNLIMITED in Westland and they quote me 311$ for the same window. Ps. I changed this window 5 years ago and all I needed was a flat screwdriver and 2 ladders. read more
