We got new windows and doors throughout the entire home and from the sales team to the install I have had no issues! The sales team was so knowledgeable and kind that it made me want to work with this company even more. They checked on us while waiting for our windows to come in several times, but not in an annoying way which was nice. The installers were here right on time and ready to work. They were very efficient with every little thing they did and made sure everything fit nice and tight. They carefully installed all the weather stripping and a quality manager came out to inspect the team's work and make sure we felt comfortable about everything and didn't have any question. I 100% recommend this company for your remodeling needs as they do more than just windows and doors as well.

Chris from Main Street was quick to respond and we set up an on-site consult for later in the week. I knew which windows (4 of them) I wanted replaced since an Anderson Renewal guy had come out separately to inspect & provide a quote. Chris from Main Street was extremely kind, helpful, and upfront. I chose them ultimately because of this pleasant meeting, urgency for the replacement, and fair price. He was my only point of contact the whole job which was nice and he was on top of communicating things throughout the whole process. We also have siding being replaced so he communicated with my other contractor to coordinate timing. Pricing was very reasonable compared to Renewal but more expensive than a DIY vinyl install because of the window quality. I wanted a window that would last and was willing to pay more. The Anderson 100 series installed was literally half the cost of what Renewal had quoted me (I believe they quoted the 300 series) but are very high quality windows regardless and we really like them. There are some minor aesthetic defects from the manufacturing of the windows (pictured here) but they can be trimmed off very easily and aren't a concern. The installer Dre came in with Dan as support and they did a beautiful job. I had plenty of notice beforehand and they finished the job exactly as estimated (about 6 hours) after cleaning up very nicely. All in all, I thought Main Street Windows had a competitive price, I appreciated their recommendation for the product, they did a great job communicating, and the windows look great.

This company has been nothing short of amazing to work for. They actually offer competitive pay,…read morealongside decent benefits and a ton of unspoken perks here and there. 40 hours a week and work is ALWAYS guaranteed. Unfortunately there's always a few people who feel they're above the rules and company as a whole and need to be weeded out. This company, from my standpoint, just wants to see the job done in the safest/most efficient way possible. They have no problem sending extra men to get the job done, and if the job is unsafe we usually don't deliver until the job site is made safe for us. They pay you based off experience, and even if you have none, as long as you pit your best foot forward they'll appreciate it and you will be rewarded. With quite a few jobs under my belt, this has easily been the most fair/rewarding of them all. The company also gives you a TON of chances to fix yourself up before they let you go, so if you can't stop smoking or complaining that's on you. Everyone is also expected to pull their own weight to a certain degree. This being a labor intensive job means that there will be a fair amount of lifting, pulling, and pushing. You're not expected to be Superman, but you also can't put every single window, big or small, on the blue cart because of your inability to lift. Standing around your phone and then latching on to someone else's work does not suffice. The management is ALWAYS around to talk and can usually give you advice to solve your problems. The supervisor is also very fair across the board. There's also no secret benefits to being a POC because they are vastly outnumbered. If you'd like to come work here, please come see for yourself. It's easy to make a disgruntled review when you've never had accountability. Threatening to badmouth us to your "local" community isn't the way to go either. I've been with MDW long enough to see that it'll be worth it to be here in the long run. The customers are happy, Us(the employees) are happy and everything's working out.

Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. Overall, would highly recommend them for their excellent work, very fair pricing, and being such good nature people!

We recently hired J&E to install Pella Impervia windows throughout our home and a new exterior…read moredoor. We're very happy with the Pella product and would gladly recommend it. However, the installation experience with J&E was disappointing. While the installers were polite, the workmanship was substandard: sloppy exterior caulking, poorly cleaned windows, splintered and unpainted sills, missing trim pieces, and sharp unfinished metalwork on exterior windows. A dog door was improperly installed (you can reach your hand inside and unlock the deadbolt). The other dog door was left partially installed. It took us two hours to finish the installation. One new window fogs up regularly--something the old one never did, which makes me think there is an installation issue. Most concerning was the lack of oversight. The owner never did a final walkthrough after the job was deemed "finished" but requested payment regardless. For a company specializing in installation, that level of follow-up is unacceptable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend J&E. Despite the price difference, I wish we had gone through Pella directly for the installation. =============================================== Edit 6/20/25: Added a Star (from 2 to 3) re: business reply on Google.
