    Beef stir fry
    Maureen G.

Place was clean, waitress was friendly. We had a tempura California roll and the stir friend beef. The tempura roll had little taste, not enough rice or tempura. The beef stir fried rice was not good. It tasted like salt and butter and there was very little beef. When we got the bill, the beef stir fry price on the bill was $2 more than on the menu. When we told the guy behind the counter, instead of apologizing or offering to correct the bill, he said "oh must have been an old menu". Seriously? ONE AND DONE for us

Koshi is a great option if you are in the mood for Korean or Japanese food. I have had a little bit of both cultures here at Koshi and I do not see any lack of authenticity. However, they do have a couple fusions over here. For example: their Spicy Tuna Taco. This $3 taco we have here might just have to be my favorite thing on this menu. Spicy Tuna Sushi ingredients housed in a smooth and soft tortilla. The spicy tuna has great kick to it. It's actually spicy and the avocado on top provides that smooth and refreshing relief from that heat. It was just really well put together overall. All ingredients were fresh, everything was just great. The Beef Chapchae is an excellent Korean noodle dish. The beef was full of flavor and the clear noodles had this amazing slightly chewy texture that I expected out of Chapchae. Their shrimp shumai is deep fried nicely with an excellent crust on the outside with a very airy and light inside. The mushroom soup gives that small hint of soy and really complimented the rest of sushi meal which was also very good. All of my sushi was fresh and rolled nicely. Being a Korean and Japanese restaurant expect some things to be more expensive than usual but with a slight trade off as their Korean dishes are slightly cheaper than usual. It works for me. All my pick up orders were completed online and on-time. Great option for Japanese and Korean!

    Crab fried rice with beef

Been here a few times with great results. The best dish I've ever had was a special on the menu, crab fried rice, in which I added beef to the order. It was excellent.

Not bad. My friend and I decided to visit Koshi on a Friday night since every other place seemed uncomfortably packed during covid. I was relaxed once we entered because there was massive space between us and the other patrons. The sushi is fresh but nothing fancy. I tried a specialty roll that featured spicy tuna, avocado and tempura shrimp. We also ordered a bottle of wine. Everything was good. The service was a bit slow though..I feel like our server got lost at some points during the time we were there. I'd be back but it wouldn't be my first choice due to the service alone.

For 99 there was enough food for 5. Absolutely delicious.

sushi is hard enough to pull off perfectly, you have to consider freshness, cuts of fish, the craft of composing the roll, the rice, toppings and sauces... not only was all that perfectly balanced, but add on the challenge of importing the quality of fresh seafood in the middle of a pandemic, and keeping the cost affordable for patrons. This is a gem and one we will continue to support.

Ambiance is ok but the food here is so bland and nothing special about it. This is not the place where I would keep coming back.

The restaurant is a fast casual environment with some tables. The two people working the counter was super nice. We ordered two corn dogs for my toddler and as an appetizer. We had the cheesy potato and the cheesy meat. Those were good, hot, and crunchy. We also had a cup of miso soup ($2.50) and very small side of kimchi; the amount of kimchi given was not worth the $2.50. We got the Korean bulgogi which is thin sliced BBQ beef with teriyaki sauce, onion, and carrots. Unfortunately, the flavor of the bulgogi was lacking in that dish, it was very bland and I didn't enjoy it. Eventually, I plan to go back to try out the bibimbap, spicy pork, and Korean fried chicken. The pictures online for those items, look pretty delicious. But for now, I don't recommend the beef bulgogi, unless they change up the recipe. Another downfall, they didn't have restrooms for us to use, we had to go next door to Dunkin. The place seemed pretty popular for takeout though.

The husband-and-wife team runs a tight ship -- warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. We're usually able to walk in and grab a seat right away, and we're almost always greeted with hot green tea -- a simple touch that sets the tone. The space is quiet and intimate, with an understated, austere décor and seating for about 20-22 guests, which adds to the charm. I've been ordering the Waikiki Rainbow Roll for years -- it never disappoints. The Dragon and Rainbow rolls are superb, and the Birthday Roll (a tuna and avocado roll topped with salmon) is excellent. The Naruto Maki -- crab meat, shrimp, tuna, salmon, and masago wrapped in lettuce -- is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. My son loves the Kimchi Mandu and the spicy ramen (be warned -- it's truly spicy and a very generous portion!). Even the miso soup stands out as especially flavorful. Much of the menu reflects what I love most about sushi: simplicity done exceptionally well. The nigiri and sashimi are clean, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. We'll continue returning several times a week for the outstanding service, professionalism, and the simple goodness of the food. A true local gem.

This was my second experience recently at a Hot Pot, but it felt incredibly different. This was somewhere that feels more intimate and private, it's honestly a quiet place. Your server will hand you a paper to mark down the broths, meats, veggies, appetizers and main dishes to order. You have the option to choose "All You Can Eat" for $31.99 or choose individually. Note *If someone orders the "All You Can Eat," everyone at the table has to as well. Please do be mindful that this is a 2 hr limit (to order) if you decide to choose this. I ordered the Beef Brisket Radish, and it was incredibly delicious. My friend had ordered the Oxtail w. Wolfberry, and that one was tasty too! Between meats, we had ordered sliced beef, swai fish, & shrimp balls. Now with veggies, the enoki, fresh corn, bok choy, n bean sprouts were great. Finally, for main dishes I had ordered some vermicelli, rice, an egg, and rice cake. Anytime you are interested in something additional, you can press the call button to the side. You can walk to the back to get sauces (mix to make your own concoction) to dip your meats or veggies in. I'd recommend to add a bit of sugar to your sauce. The whole experience was great, our waitress was incredibly kind and gave me some pointers to the stove. It functions through a button feature on a remote to the side of the stove. I would most definitely come to eat again sometime in the future!
