Hmm. In hindsight, I probably should have remembered this was in a food court, and not expected restaurant quality, but I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered bibimbap, and it was just a bit blah.
Not particularly flavoursome, and certainly didn't taste particularly 'authentic', or like any bibimbap I've had in the past. I wondered if they'd tried to 'new zealand-ise' it, but in the process just made it bland. I appreciated the fact they put a bunch of spicy sauce on the side so you could mix in as much as you wanted, but it still wasn't really enough to make it taste like anything.
It was cooked well enough, the staff were relatively friendly and the place had an A rating, but really, I'd stick to the Japanese or the Thai in the foodcourt, as both have had much more positive reviews. read more
