It's a small menu and I hope they keep it that way. Everything on the menu was carefully thought out & presented (we dined a la carte). Age kimchi pie w/ the pork belly was surprising & original. They really managed to work in the smokey flavor into the wild prawn (presented on a stick) & served with scrumptious vegan mayo. Fried chicken was delightful crunchy morsel served w/ homemade daikon pickle on side.
Charcoal BBQ (hibachi on the table) was authentic as advertised, with vegetable ssam & all the trimmings. Venison bulgogi well seasoned. Chocolate kumara & lemon curd was fluffy & puffy. Service excellent, even though they were working with just two cooks in kitchen & one server (who explained everything very carefully). Wine list could be a bit longer -- but nice to see BekSeJu on the list. This restaurant is a real gem. read more
