    Bulgogi Tacos
    Adrianna A.

I finally tried Korean Papi and WOW! it completely lived up to the hype. The bulgogi tacos were insane perfectly marinated, super tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. You can taste that sweet-savory balance done right. And the cheesesteak sandwich? Next level. Juicy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor it's like a perfect fusion twist that somehow hits all the comfort food cravings at once. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. This spot is seriously a must-try if you're into bold flavors and creative combos. I'll definitely be back

Found this food stand at the Neon Night Market in San Leandro this past Friday. Though the menu provided a good range of delicious options, the vendor was out of several items and was only offering bulgogi on this day for choice of meat. I got a bulgogi quesadilla without kimchi. Service was super friendly, and my order took about 10-15 minutes to be ready. I watched the guy pile on the cheese and meat while grilling the tortilla... it smelled amazing. It was also massive, the size of 2 quesadillas in one, melted cheese oozing out of the oversized tortilla which was cut in half to make it easier to eat. The bulgogi was slightly lacking in flavor (wish they had offered other meat options), but the cheesiness made up for it. Overall, it was a filling meal with plenty of leftovers for later.

These were amazing tacos! The flavors really worked so well together. Fresh and delicious. Want to try the fried chicken next.

    KPK Special "KIMCHI FRIED RICE"

I had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Korean Papi's Kitchen during one of his recent events at Clandestine Brewing in San Jose. I was brought in to provide the music and vibes, and let me just say... the moment I got a whiff of that sizzling magic and aroma of that bbq goodness, I knew I was in for something special. Now, I've had a lot of food at events I've DJed for, but nothing compares to the flavor, passion, and creativity that comes out of this kitchen. As soon as Korean Papi handed me a plate of his signature kimchi fried rice, it was game over. I don't even know how to fully describe it. It was spicy, savory, perfectly balanced, and packed with umami in every bite. The kimchi had just the right punch, the rice was perfectly cooked, and whatever secret sauce he adds in there? Chef's kiss. I went back for seconds. Then thirds. Don't judge me. What made the whole experience even better was sharing it with my people. I brought a group of family and friends who were trying Korean Papi's food for the very first time, and they were all raving about it. Everyone had their own favorite item, but the kimchi fried rice was definitely the star of the show. You could see their eyes light up after the first bite. The portions were generous, the presentation was on point, and the vibe from the whole Korean Papi's team was just good energy all around. You can feel how much love and culture is poured into every dish. This isn't just food. It's soul. It's flavor therapy. It's the kind of experience you crave again the second your plate is empty. Whether you're a longtime lover of Korean flavors or you've never tried anything beyond BBQ, trust me...Korean Papi's Kitchen will open up your taste buds to a whole new world. Thank you again for feeding me and my crew so well, Korean Papi! I'll be spreading the word and bringing more people your way.

Fresh ingredients, made to order! We tried the pork belly bowl with an egg at Fort Mason and it was worth the long line. The staff worked their tails off that night- way to go! Happy customers!

We were at the Harajuku event in Benicia Sunday afternoon. I decided to try their tacos because it was definitely the most affordable item out of every other vendor there. We went all around and when we got hungry came back. The tacos were delicious and definitely the best choice because we ate it all (me and my kid) Service was great and fast. Others were in front of me and my other still didn't take long. I'd definitely suggest them for a catering event or if you come across Korean Papi at a local public event for sure try them out. If they had a permanent location I'd definitely go too When I got our tacos I asked the chef if he was the character on the toothpick and he happily said yea haha

Absolutely recommend Korean Papi's Kitchen! The food is so good. I tried the bulgogi fries and they were amazing. The staff are also incredibly friendly and make the experience even better. If you spot them around, definitely stop by you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I ordered for the first time yesterday, and it did not disappoint! The food had amazing flavor, our favorite dishes were the Philly cheesesteak, bowls, and kimchi fried rice. We will definitely be ordering again! S/O to the owner for the wonderful service!

Let me just say... the flavors are FLAVORING. You can tell it's made with love and has a real authentic kick to it that you can't get at most places. Can't wait to try everything else but my first experience was great. Special deliveries all throughout the Bay Area so make sure you pre-order ahead!

And at the moment Lloyds vision of Filipino-American background is best served through his smash burgers. For me this is a first and I definitely was ecstatic to experience his execution of Filipino inspired smash burgers which for me has never been seen before. So hows his smash burgers? All burgers come with 2.5 oz beef patty or impossible patty, their respective jams, cloud-like brioche bun, mild cheddar cheese, garlic spread, lettuce, and tomato need I say more? Adobo Smash Burger w/ adobo pork jam: I went for that adobo burger to taste that Filipino-American influence. Taking that first bite munching on that soft bun, juicy and tender patty, the saltiness of the jam, the sweetness of the caramelized onions, the freshness of the lettuce, and It was the start of "The" ideal burger. That adobo jam is crack and I'll be damned if i could buy a jar of it. Original Smash Burger w/ bacon jam: Knocking out the adobo jam burger, I had all I needed to know that this would smash it out of the window. The bacon jam equally as salty brought out so much flavor Impossible Burger w/ onion jam: I hardly ever have impossible burgers, but I believe this is probably one of the best representations of faux meat burgers I've had the pleasure of eating. The texture is different, but the taste certainly fooled me. Little Lumpias: Ok, i didn't even know the lumpias were impossible, the whole time i thought it was real meat. Completely fooled me Lloyd! The best part of this dish was the mango pico de gallo, it paired so well with the tots and lumpia. An amazing take on impossible loaded lumpias! Overall, Lloyd Eats World was probably one of my favorite vendors at Foodieland Berkeley this year. His prices were reasonable, his food was bomb, and his team worked FAST. Go check them out in SF pop ups when you can! You certainly won't regret tasting this smash burger!

I was here for an art show last night, but honestly? The food ended up being the masterpiece. We essentially tried to defeat the menu and the menu won. 10/10, no notes. The Highlights: Hawaiian Sliders: Absolutely bomb. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. I'm still thinking about them 24 hours later. Crispy Quesatacos with Chicken Tinga: Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. It's hard to find chicken Tinga in a crispy Quesataco this authentic in a pop-up setting, but they nailed it flavor bomb Pupusas & Tacos: My friend and I went in on these and they did not disappoint. The pupusa was thick, cheesy, and had that perfect crisp on the outside. The Verdict: There wasn't a single miss on the menu. I even grabbed an extra haul to take home to my husband--usually, "to-go" food loses its soul on the car ride home, but he was obsessed. I'm already checking their schedule to see where they'll be next. If you want to eat the best food in San Francisco right now, this is it.

I'm spoiled by having a Dollar Hits in SoCal literally down the street from me so I can't say this place compares, but it's at least an option for NorCal, you know? This definitely used to be another restaurant, but then retrofitted to be a grill. Super large grill in the middle for everyone to communally cook at indoors. This is a good combination between the outdoors grill it yourself and the indoors seating of both the SoCal Dollar Hits, so I thought that was nice.
