They loved me and called me often and got me an interview then ghosted me. How RUDE! How Unprofessional! I asked for feedback but instead just got ghosted. read more

I had one of the worst experiences with Kore1. I was contacted for a position, had a phone interview, then timely respond to further questions sent in an email. After this collection of communication, I heard nothing. Two weeks later the same recruiter sent me the exact same initial email about the position. When I replied to remind him of the back and forth we had had, again, I heard nothing. A second recruiter sent me an introduction email about the same position, that I responded outlining the previous one-sided communication about the same opportunity. Needless to say, the follow-through from both people is severely lacking, and communication is key to showing interest in a candidate's ability and opportunity to fill their positions. In all honesty, it reminds me of how RHI works - or doesn't work as more accurate. read more

I'm not authorized to hire anyone from a recruiting agency, so they're wasting their time spamming me with potential candidates. You'd think this is an easy situation to understand, but apparently Kore1 struggles to comprehend this. I've been stuck on their mailing lists for years. No number of unsubscribe requests or replies asking to be removed has worked, so I gave up trying long ago. I'm sure they'll keep spamming me with the resumes of people I'll never hire until the day I die. That's fine, I accept my fate. But at the same time, at least I can get a little satisfaction leaving them a poor review -- and hopefully you read this and choose to work with a different agency who is graceful to those who decline to do business with them. read more

I would give negative stars if possible. Working with Devin has been a huge waste of money and time. First they discourage you for any kind of tech test, and encourage you to hire candidates based on one or two 10mn interview over the phone, because they have a 'replacement' warranty in case the first candidate would not be fitting. Well, of course the first candidate is not fitting, and by a large margin, and then they ghost you after sending you a few candidates no more qualified, or who did not read the job description, so yeah, beware, warranty is not real, and if you don't keep the first candidate, you're out of luck and you lost your money. It could have been great, they seemed nice and competent at first, ended up being a complete disaster and the worst recruiting experience we ever had in the history of the company. I even tried to contact the said Devin through the person that referred him to us, since he ignored completely any email, to try to understand how we could work it out, I was basically being told to go pound sand by Devin through a proxy, not even in person... read more

They spam call me out of nowhere. Have to request to be put on the Do Not Call list. Would not recommend with this agency.

Once the company doesn't choose you they just forget about you. No follow-ups, no other offers, nothing. Very unprofessional. It's better to find a position on your own rather than give these pseudo-recruiters the stake of your salary. After the rejection, I asked whether they had another opportunity. No reply received. read more

I have worked with Devin, Humera, and the team at Kore1 twice and they've been very informative and responsive at all times during the search and interview process. I was kept abreast of all developments and even communicated with Devin and Humera after hours which was service above and beyond the norm. I would highly recommend the Kore1 Team with your next career move as I had an excellent experience. Well done Kore1. read more

Job Seekers, While I am not in the market and didn't have any plans of leaving an updated review, I had the chance to speak with a large volume of staffing agencies and felt somewhat obligated to share some information that may be very helpful to some. To my surprise, not all staffing agencies are created equal. Please do your own research and figure out what makes the most sense to you. This particular business does not pay for holiday pay regardless of the length of assignment, while others gladly offer holiday pay after the contract worker puts in x number of hours. (It may come as a surprise to those who have previously accepted work through other agencies.) Facts of this sort can be overlooked but it's certainly one to keep in mind as it's best to sign with agencies who care about the well-being of their "employees." read more

Worked with Jenny Burdick. WOW! I have been working with Jenny and WOW is she better than the rest! The job search process is usually a little on the annoying side, but not with Jenny. Your typical agency, They call you when they think their getting a commission cut, but once things fall through they ignore you and don't respectfully let you know the outcome. People use agencies to better themselves, but the way you run your desk is a HUGE let down. Be ashamed Reha! read more

I worked with Dave at Kore1 in Irvine for a position after he discovered me through knowing a mutual person on LinkedIn. He was very attentive, encouraging, and easy to talk to. Very wonderful company! Christine Pagan was the first one to contact me about a position and KORE1 is the first signing agency that I have worked with. They were wonderful at offering the position to me and making sure I knew everything I needed to know. They answered all of my questions quickly and when I showed interest they were quick on following up with an interview. Sara who also works at this KORE1 was very nice and helpful. She got to know me before the interview and just helped me feel relaxed and gave tips. I am very grateful that they were able to help me receive this first job with them! Thank you. read more

I worked with KORE1 to find a job in the technology industry in Irvine, CA. I found the company to be extremely professional; balancing the interests of the employer with my own. They didn't try to sell me jobs that weren't going to work for me and pushed the employer (with numerous follow-up phone calls) for a quick interview and offer letter. I am transferring from out-of-state and was able to go from first phone call to accepting a job offer in less than 4 weeks. I was able to get the salary and benefits that I wanted on the first offer letter because of the work they did behind the scenes. They were able to provide me guidance along the way and are still helping me (even after offer acceptance) work through relocation questions. I primarily worked with Jim and would highly recommend him. But I had contact with two others who were both equally professional and honest. It's not that there weren't a few hiccups along the way... but none of that mattered because they achieved the goal of finding me a job in the location I most desired, in the time-frame I wanted and with the Salary/Benefits that I was targeting. The Kore1 has provided the communication necessary to land my next job--stress free. Thanks Jenny. read more

This is a review with my experience with Jim at KORE1. I was contacted about a job by a recruiter (Jim). At first I did not take it serious because 99% of the recruiters that contact me, will go unheard from shortly after initial contact. Jim set me up with a phone interview which went pretty good. I was then asked to come in for an onsite interview which I missed because of an accident. Jim STILL got me another interview which I just finished today. So not only was Jim able to get me an interview, he was consistent with checking in AND keeping me updated. read more

I worked with Hedi and KORE1. He found the best match for his client (me) on LinkedIn, messaged me with the opportunity asking if I would be interested. After reviewing what he sent me, I saw that the opportunity was a great match for my skill set. Hedi was courteous and professional while coordinating the interview process and the final offer; never leaving me with questions or wondering what the next step would be. His response time to emails was immediate. I highly recommend working with Hedi at KORE1 as you pursue your next career move. read more

I had an amazing experience working with Christine Pagan and Dave Manchester who both very informative recruiters. The hiring process took a few months due to COVID and circumstances out of their control but it was completely understandable. Jenny Burdick of KORE1 is the absolute best recruiter I've ever worked with. Jenny thoroughly researches her clients needs for each position and takes every necessary step to make sure she selects 100% qualified candidates. She provides candidates with valuable information and learning tools in order to prepare for phone and in person interviews. She returns calls and emails the same day or night if necessary. She makes sure throughput the hiring process that the candidate has complete transparency regarding the position and company. On top of all this...Jenny is high energy, motivational and fun to work with! I'm so thrilled to have had her connect me with my new job opportunity and I can't wait for my start date! Thanks for believing in me Jenny and being my cheerleader! read more

I worked with Robert Ardell and Jim Daly who are experts in placement for technology jobs. Their strength comes from deep connections with people in decision-making positions. In today's cluttered and murky HR waters, having a pre-existing connection with hiring resources is almost necessary. I found a great job through their connections and guidance almost immediately after starting to work with them. They provide great advice and follow-up as well. Highly recommend! read more

I applied for a position on Dice that was represented by Kore1, and later received a call from them to "discuss" it further. I put the word discuss in quotes because the person on the other end of the phone really had a hard time with discussing anything. There was such a language barrier that every question I asked received a completely unrelated answer. When I asked what the company she represented did, she didn't know, and reiterated information about the position. When I asked where the company is located, she asked if she should submit my resume now. When I asked the name of the company, she couldn't pronounce it. I finally suggested she send me the job description with the name of the company by email. The email was just the Dice ad, without the company name. All that being said, and not wanting to be too insensitive to people from another country trying to make a living in the US, I could work around the issues stated above by doing some of my own research. However what is inexcusable, is that sprinkled in about every 4th or 5th word was the word "like", as in the teenage replacement for the word "um". If I agreed to let this person submit my resume to the company and represent me, how is she going to "sell" me to the company when she has such a problem communicating professionally? That would be a bad decision. I'm pretty convinced this is an Indian company using the 949 area code, or a local company that uses Indian telemarketers. If I'm wrong about that, then the owner of the company needs to understand that to be in the business of connecting professional people, you need to be able to communicate professionally with said people. read more
