In today's job market, finding the right opportunity can be challenging, which is why I am so grateful to have come across this company. From the very beginning, I felt supported throughout the entire process. A special thank you to Donovan, who guided me every step of the way. It was truly a pleasure getting to know him and experience the level of care, professionalism, and dedication he brought to my job search. Thank you for making this career transition such a memorable one and for genuinely caring about my professional journey and growth. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would highly recommend working with this team! read more

My experience with Professional Search Group was extremely unprofessional. My recruiter was Donovan, and one of my biggest concerns was his disorganized handling of the assignment. I was not provided with all applicable equipment policies BEFORE receiving and using the equipment. If you're responsible for placing someone into an assignment with strict requirements, those policies should be provided beforehand and not after the employee is already expected to follow them. This creates a situation where someone could face consequences for requirements that were not properly communicated beforehand. I was also given important employment-related documents with provisions I had serious concerns about AFTER I had already started working, with very little time to review and sign them. Documents like these should be provided before an assignment begins, with reasonable time to review and ask questions. Most disappointing was the communication afterward. When issues arose and I needed answers and clarification, Donovan stopped responding. A recruiter should support the people they place when problems occur, not disappear when their help is actually needed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Professional Search Group. If you work with them, get every policy and agreement in writing BEFORE starting and keep records of your communications. read more

The interview process was professional, but I was disappointed to learn after multiple rounds that Spanish fluency was a key deciding factor. This requirement was not communicated upfront, and knowing it earlier would have helped set clearer expectations for everyone involved. Transparency around core qualifications would improve the candidate experience. Unfortunately, this reflects a common recruiting issue where candidates are evaluated against requirements that were never disclosed during the process. read more

I got to work with Donovan and I highly recommend him and this company. He was able to give me a few options of exactly what I was looking for and helped prep me for my interview. I was set up for success and found a job right after my lay off from my previous company. I've also worked with a different agency before that would never check in with me at all and took months to get my first interview. Donovan also called after my first week and asked how I was liking it as well. Highly recommend again! read more

I reached out to PSG for work placement assistance. I initially wanted something temporary because I was considering moving and didn't want to commit to an employer and have to jump their hoops just to get started. I wanted something fast. I worked with Donovan Aranda and he was able to get me in front of an employer within 2 days. Donovan really took the time to understand what I was looking for in an employer and was able to present me a few different job opportunities that simply made sense. I was only through the agency for about 90 days and was able to get my temp position turned into a permanent place at my current employer. I've been with the company that Donovan set me up with for nearly 3 years now! It's been the best phone call I've made. I think they bring a lot of value to all parties involved and I am very satisfied with the results. Thanks Donnie & PSG team for helping me get back on track. read more

I reached out to Donavan looking for details on a position I seen posted on Indeed. Within a day I was on a call with him and we were reviewing my resume, noting he had a couple positions for me to consider. He was very detailed, knowledgeable, patient and reassuring me he would help me find the best fit for me since I was new to the OC. He set me up with one of his clients. And within the next two weeks I had an offer and we were looking at start dates. He always touched base before and after my interviews/calls. It was nice to know I had someone in my corner who believed in my skillset and qualifications. I will definitely keep PSG in mind for any future employment needs. Thanks for all your help Donavan! read more

I have throughly enjoyed my experiences with the Professional Search Group (PSG). Everyone is so kind and friendly. They really have a true sense of knowing their customers. I have had the privilege to work with Danielle in first and she is phenomenal. She's so friendly and warm. She makes it easy to talk to you and she makes it easy to be open and honest. More recently, I have had the pleasure of working with Donovan and he's great. Super nice and very attentive. He also has a great sense of knowing his customers and finding opportunities for them that fit not only their skill set but personalities. I enjoy them both so much and have been very instrumental in my career path in the past. read more

I worked with Donovan and he was always very polite and found me nice jobs. The staff treated me very well. And the pay was good.

I was referred to PSG by a friend who was placed in a temp position which resulted in a full time permanent position. My friend suggested I work with her staffing manager Eyleen Sanchez specifically. The same day I reached out to her she immediately responded to me. Eyleen was super sweet, patient, and really wanted the best for me. Even when she had already placed me she continued to check in with me and made sure my job was treating me well. After I found a permanent position Eyleen kept her door open for me and always was ready to help me in any way she could. I have referred multiple people to her specifically because I know they will be in good hands. read more

I worked with Donovan who hooked me up with an assignment temp to hire. So far so good.

Professional Search Group isn't just your ordinary temp agency. They pair you with clients that can flourish into a full time position. Professional Search Group paired me with a major studio as a temp. I'll admit. Being a temp can definitely not be fun. But in blink of an eye I was converted to a full time employee. For years I have tried to become a full time employee at a major studio lot. I've interned. Worked as a contractor. Seasonal employee. I was giving up hope. But this firm, helped me get to the promise land. And I now work for a studio that hosted shows like "Seinfeld" and "Brooklyn 99" read more

Word of advice: Find another PROFESSIONAL recruiter. I have worked with plenty in the LA & OC area, who are true professionals with more favorable fees & integrity, and let me tell you what, PSG-OC was a HUGE MISTAKE! At PSG-OC, I am a strong believer it starts from the top with Danielle Thomas. Under her leadership, the PSG-OC's commitment to customer excellence & success is non-existent. -Let me explain. Don't let the gimmicky hallmark web blasts and LinkedIn posts fool you. Of course they are very friendly and salesy throughout the process, because they have to be, however when you (as their client) run into an issue, they are no where to be found, kind of like a bait & switch if I were to phrase it. Yes, this actually happened. The PSG-OC group are a bunch of money grabbers. They will break contract, make excuses and then spin it around on you, as their "client".... who is somehow at fault? -ultimately taking our money and then ghosting us??? 100% lack of accountability!! This is not who you want when you are vetting for a partner to build your team. Finding out further, their team comprises of family members & friends, who has no experience in industries they are recruiter for! Quite a bit nepotism within the group, real amateurs and not professionals. Amateur Search Group. read more
