There have been a few miss communications regarding pharmacy/med pickups which actually wouldn't have been an issue at all, but given we live an hour away they were inconvenient. That being said, I received a genuine apology and fix. They are all human after all and it happens, but it's how you handle it that matters. We are attempting to co-parent but insists on listening to only 1 parents family history or one parent's opinion on medical issues. She has misdiagnosed our son multiple times enough to push a major surgery our son didn't need for sleep apnea! Shoved multiple steroids down a perfectly healthy child under the pretense of having "asthma". On top of being wrong multiple times...She treats dads and involved fathers like "furniture" and "second class citizens"! So much so, on out take paperwork it said multiple times "mom and child are doing fine"...I finally noticed this blatant disregard of my attendance (99.9%) to EVERY visit far that it was made to appear like I was an "absent father". Now after "multiple" visits 30+ and politely asking to be treated the same and to be asked the same question and filing multiple complaints. I got understandably upset and defended myself and our sons health and safety due to prescribing more steroids to a child who has "0" allergies per every large multiple allergy panel taken (and some things tested multiple times) before age 5!! Because I stood up for myself as an involved father with rights and another voice for our son! I have since been BANNED from ALL pediatricians visits. My BM has refused to do what's best for our son and switch pediatricians. This favors her agenda and alienating the parent is easier since our views don't align and so basically teaming up to BAN me that day! (It's now been almost 3yrs since being able to attend an appointment). I'm not nor have I ever been in trouble domestic or otherwise or banned from ANY other medical office. I've since learned it was "unethical" for that off to ban "any" parent from medical visits. Being "adamant" and or "protective as a parent" about your childs well being isn't grounds for being banned. UPDATE: Dr. P. Bradshaw (Oct. 2025) another surgery yet again was suggested without a proper sleep apnea test off "her recommendation". FYI, if I hadn't followed up and gone to OHSU (Eugene/PDX) and spoke up yet again for our son for now a SECOND time ('20/'25) the surgery would have easily gone forward without "requiring" any form of sleep apnea test first. I've had other parents whom I've shared my experiences with having had similar experiences of her (Dr. Bradshaw) not knowing simple things (Ethnic birthmark looking bruise on an infant in this instance) and or using common sense when diagnosing children. She was also was subpoenaed in our custody (by my BM's attorney) case and failed and or was convinced NOT to show under false pretense (personal surgery an hour before appearing after our morning break) because her lawyer saw the literal BOX of evidence/violations I had in court. He was so kind, personable, and had a wonderful bedside manner, so when we were leaving and making our appointment for the two week screening we decided to stick with him as our pediatrician. They get right back to you too if you call with a question or concern. Dr. Huffman takes his time during appointments to make sure we get all our questions answered and to make sure we have an idea of what to expect in terms of behavior and development with our girls. I also like that you must vaccinate your children if you want to be seen at this practice. I appreciate their stance on vaccinations for the health and benefit of all children.

Once you think about it, that's a good thing!! Nothing bad about her stands out in my mind. It's never too long of a wait for her, she listens to what we have to say and she's very compassionate. She puts on this whole act of being "happy to see you" and acts like shes so nice and truly cares---then the rest of the appointment, in my experience, tells you everything you are doing wrong and makes you feel like a failure as a parent no matter what you say. She doesn't listen to concerns, only focuses on "her" concerns which honestly are the money making "concerns." I dont want to share details of our personal experiences, but needless to say, my child is perfectly healthy and happy and I felt confident going to our check ups until finally I got fed up feeling degraded after every visit. We certainly wont be returning.

The solution did knock out the problem...but hot flashes are a no-go! So back to the drawing board. I have no bad feelings toward them at all. We have ruled out the bladder, female insides (ultrasound), other hormone issues (either normal or negative), so it's not something that can be easily fixed. I suspect that there's some sort of internal miscommunication between brain and body that can't easily be fixed, based on how my symptoms act when my symptoms were acting. Sometimes, there is no cure.

He said we can do a lessor strength. He wanted me on a statin, which was expected. I told him I tried a statin before and experience muscle pain. Again he mentioned a lower dose. I agreed to trying a lower dose. I left feeling satisfied that my concerns were addressed. By the time I got home the pharmacy had my prescriptions ready. After standing in line for 20 mins it was my turn. Two prescriptions, no cost. All positive energy hmming along. I get home and open the pharmacy bag and retrieve my two prescriptions. They were both the exact same prescriptions, same strength I had previously! i send him a message expressing my disappointment. I had also brought with me to the appointment two months of daily bp readings that he never looked at. In his reply, he defended the prescriptions he wrote and acted like his opinion shouldn't be challenged. Shortly after that I found a new doctor. A young female who listened to me.

I used to have Dr. Jill Chaplin as my doctor. She retired and they referred me to Kelly Son while I was with Jill. She got me on Ozempic because of my weight and I have severe back issues. We thought that if I got some of the weight off, it would help assist with my back issues. I ended up losing about 40 pounds with Ozempic. Yes it helped some with the back pain then at that time I was using a special payment assistance program from nova to assist in the Ozempic so I wasn't paying anything then 2026 hit and they no longer cover that program. I'm not sure I understand but I did have D in my insurance and nothing was said now they won't approve it because I have D so that does not make any sense to me. Plus they're not covering that program anymore. We're mark comes in is that he has bent over backwards call after call to nova and to me trying to get things figured out I can't tell you how much time he has put into just my insurance and Ozempic plan. I know that there are hundreds of patients out there, he made me feel like I was the only patient he had. I feel like Mark should get some kind of recognition for this outstanding job he has done. I waited over an HOUR AND A HALF past my appointment time to be seen for my FIRST appointment with a new primary doctor after over a year of not having one. I was stuck on waiting lists and unable to get my medications. They didn't even greet me when they walked me back. The doctor didn't ask or seem to care about anything besides refilling my ADHD medication. I waited an hour and a half for a 10 minute appointment. Then they sent the wrong instructions to the pharmacy and the pharmacy couldn't refill my medication. I tried calling this office but you can't even leave them a voicemail and they're closed on weekends. During the week expect to sit on hold for at LEAST 20 minutes. They never respond through the patient portal either. The lack of communication and care is extremely frustrating. I'm leaving this review now because once again the pharmacy cannot refill a different medication for me that I urgently need because they have sent MULTIPLE requests for a refill (it should be on auto refill so I'm not sure what the issue is) and have gotten ZERO response from these people. I can't even refill it through their portal. So here I am a day before I need my medication and unable to get ahold of anyone here and unsure as to why they have not responded to the pharmacy. I will be switching providers as soon as I am able to because this place genuinely SUCKS. Would not recommend to anyone.
