So she approached one of the persons working and mentioned she hadn't received a call about the order yet but wanted to check in since it was so close to xmas. The person was sharp and unfriendly with her stating we called you 3 times. My wife asked did you leave any messages, he stated we always leave messages. So she was quick to realize that they most likely errored in recording her phone number... not a big deal in and of itself it was about the attitude and cold sharp tones when it didn't have to be such. Unfortunately I've seen this attitude myself when seeing an interaction in the past with an unknown customer. This isn't a case of the customer is always right it's about being friendly and maybe just plain nice. We all have things to improve upon in life please work on this in your store Now and Then Records... thank you have a great holiday!

It focuses on music, both in vinyl and CD formats, with far less gimmicky novelty items that were HMV's downfall. The selection is vast, with many back-catalogue albums as well as newer material and "greatest hits." Prices generally are fair, with many CDs listed as "2-for-$15" or "2-for-$20". I did note that latest releases are a couple of dollars more than you might find elsewhere, and some of the box-sets were rather pricey, but otherwise I'm very happy that this store is now open. Besides music, there are some racks of DVDs/Blu-rays, but overall I get the impression that this will be a good place to come to boost your music collection.

I tried to sell some video games awhile ago, and he said he wasnt buying them, but he would take them as donation. I asked him what he was going to do with them and he said he would take them to a store he knows that buys them. Excuse me? Sounded like HE was going to resell my stuff!!!! I took it to another place that his employee said to go, before he butted in, and made 40 dollars. It may not be much, but it was something. Seller beware if they tell you to donate. Chances are theyre lying and will try and resell your stuff instead of pay you for things that are worth money! He even said "dont take it to Value Village, they dont appreciate 'media'" That may be so, but at least Value Village doenst LIE about what they do! I would never reccomend ANYONE to sell thier stuff here, or if you DO, DONT take their advice and donate. Sell it yourself or shop around! Total scam artists!!!

Some of the records are selling for over $200, maybe I should look at my parent's vinyl collection and sell them to Hifi Joe. Hifi Joe also have a good collections of tube gear and sold state amplification. Great if you want to hear the "real" sound of your vinyl records. Just ask the staff for a demonstration.
