Truly the very top of the notch meat, slow cooked all day with TLC. He cares about his food, and it shines. Sonoma County BBQ catered our wedding of 180 last weekend, and did an outstanding job. Ron was there every step of the way; easy going, accommodating, and happy to fulfill our requests. Not only did he do the food, but he provided staff at a very reasonable rate. His wife Debbie worked on our wedding day too, and was friendly, organized and worked so hard to make the day smooth. We requested that all 180 chairs be moved from the ceremony site to the reception site during our cocktail hour. This wasn't an easy job, and they did it without a bat of the eye. Did I mention the food is amazing? Multiple people came up to us during the reception, and have been contacting us this past week to tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Maybe that's because it's not wedding food, it's awesome BBQ, and we're fortunate enough that they happen to do weddings! Ron has this big smoker that looks like a train engine - it's very cool. We didn't know until it happened, but he has an air horn on the smoker that he sounds when it's time to eat. Pretty neat, not going to lie. Now, if Ron would open a restaurant where we live in Alameda - I'd figure out a way to give him 6 stars on here. Bravo to Ron and Debbie, and the Sonoma County BBQ staff. Book them for your big day - your expectations will be surpassed!

People loved the food, Ron is very easy going and easy to get along with and man does that guy know his BBQ! It was like having a master chef come and cook you dinner with a full portable smoke station. They provided some simple but yummy sides and the ribs were out of this world. They even did a couple vegetarian options that worked out great. We were blown away by the time and dedication SC BBQ puts into their food and they really made the party a complete win. Can't recommend them enough. Super nice, friendly, affordable and the quality of the food and prep will blow you away.

Gina and Coastal Catering are BEYOND wonderful!!…read more We used them for a four-day photoshoot this week - breakfast and lunch service each day. Not only was the food delicious/healthy/organic and complimented by our entire crew - it was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with catering companies (and I hire caterers constantly). Gigi was extremely responsive, super helpful and on-time for every meal. I didn't have to worry one bit. I even had an extremely last minute scheduling issue and she came to the rescue - saving my behind! Thank you again and I can't wait for the next shoot! LOVED the Avocado Toast Bar!!

"Phenomenal." This is the most recent adjective used by one of our wedding guests to describe…read moreAdafina's food at our wedding. But let me begin at the beginning: Deciding on the food for our wedding was probably our biggest challenge during planning. My husband is quite the foodie (in that he appreciates really GOOD food), & I was aiming to find sustainable food with a splash of cool, & hopefully stay within our budget. We tasted the hippest food trucks, the winery regulars, the best BBQ in all the land, but nothing was quite right. Until, by a stroke of luck, we found Adafina. Tara was super-easy (& fun) to communicate with, & when we met with her other half, Chef Les, & tasted his food, we were sold! They use simple, local, delicious ingredients in a thoughtful & creative way, & catered their menu ideas to our specific requests. Plus, they were willing to work within our budget. We both instantly knew they were the *ones*. On our wedding day, everything was perfect; delicious ratatouille appetizer, the most incredible salads (with tomatoes from their garden!), & a braised chickpea & saffron dish with the best slow-roasted lamb shoulder (in the world!). I don't even eat lamb & I was licking my plate. There was an ohmygoodnesscanyoubelievehowgoodthisfoodis whisper during dinner. Their staff was very professional, took great direction, & was lovely with our guests. My husband & I couldn't have been happier. Since our big day, we've received a natural flurry of reminiscence, always punctuated with "that was the best wedding food I've ever had." I've heard it over & over, so I figured Yelp would be the best place to brag about it. We are already talking about using Adafina again for our 5 year anniversary party; that is, if Adafina isn't so famous it's impossible to book them.... Thank you, Tara & Les & the Adafina Staff!

So she was happy to use produce from our favorite farm. Probably the biggest challenge was that my wife and I are vegetarians, but most of our guests were not. We wanted a meal hearty enough that what people would notice was the that the food was fantastic, not that the food was vegetarian. Complete success. Everyone, including the carnivores, raved about the food. Tara worked with us to come up with a great menu that didn't break the bank. The presentation was gorgeous. The service by the staff was impeccable. Tara was a pleasure to work with you every step of the way. We could not have been happier. I highly recommend Adafina Culinary.

With that said, for the last few years my work has used Peloton for catering events which I have had the pleasure to work and tasted the tasty dishes Peloton has served for guests and employees (Afterwards). The Peloton crew is very professional, shows up on time, very polite, and always makes sure everyone is fed and most importantly happy. Over the past few years, I have done my fair share of tasting their farm to table type meals and I'd say that most are pretty darn tasty. I have had a few dishes that were subpar, but most of what they server is fantastic and honestly I would consider hiring them for catering purposes. Yes, short review, but it is a caterer after all, but if you are on the edge about hiring Peloton, I would suggest calling them to see what they offer in terms of a sample tasting. Better yet, gather some more info in general that may help you seal the deal or move on to one of the many other caterers in the area.

I would give Patty 10 stars if I could! We hired Patty and…read moreher team to do our catering, flowers, and deserts. I have some many good things to say I don't even know where to start. The food was amazing, even better than it was at the trial, which was very good. The tri-tip was very flavorful, the green beans were cooked and seasoned perfectly, and I never knew chicken could taste that good. I could write a whole paragraph on how good the risotto balls were. I literally ate a plate of them. The Tex-Mex Wontons are delicious. The flowers were more beautiful than I had pictured them. The deserts were unbelievable - so tasty! There was almost none left. Patty really listened to what we wanted and worked with us to customize every little detail and really make it feel personal. She also worked with our budget to make sure we wouldn't spend more than we wanted, but so that we would have everything the way we wanted it. We booked a venue with an on-site coordinator who, in fairness, didn't end up doing a whole lot on the actual day. Patty and her team were a GODSEND. They took care of every little hiccup so that I wouldn't have to deal with it, and they did so calmly and efficiently so that I didn't even have a chance to worry about it. These are the kind of people you want and need with you on your big day. And just to clarify, I didn't hire her for the day-of coordination, but she handled all of these extra things for me anyways. We booked Patty more than a year and a half before our wedding, giving me plenty of time to worry and re-think things. I thought I knew everything I wanted and how I wanted it when we booked her, but regardless of the utterly ridiculous amount of times I contacted her to question everything or to change this tiny detail or that huge one, she never complained and she always got back to me within a reasonable amount of time, normally that day or the next. I even emailed her to ask to change the color of the table cloths the week of the wedding and she still managed to get it done. When I changed all of the bouquets and boutonnières, sending pictures of examples I had gotten off of Pinterest, she seemed enthusiastic about the changes and made them look even better than the pictures, and better than I had imagined. When I forgot the table numbers I made and the coolers for the ice, Patty's team took care of it. I cannot thank them enough. I hesitated in the beginning as she did not have many reviews, but I am so glad I didn't let that stop me from booking her. Both Patty and her team/family are so kind and professional. They're a real class act. You could tell she truly cared about every detail and really worked hard to do what she could to make our day flawless and special. It was like having my grandmother cater my wedding. I couldn't imagine anything better.
