I recently placed a large order here, 126 hoodies and roughly 60 hats plus 36 touckes- I thought it…read morestarted well as my order of various sizes was a hard one to keep straight but the women did a good job there. Once submitted I was disappointed in the outcome of 2 events - the first being a call stating all the touckes and roughly 30 of the hats had already been embroidered and they realized the logo was too small for the size of the hat - I supplied the eps file for embroidery which was a basic size and should be adjusted by a professional to accommodate the material being placed on. Apparently it was my fault and the 30 hats plus all the touckes was on my own dime no negotiation on that one which I didn't bother arguing. Then I got home to organize my order and gather the hoodies for the list I had to give out too - my 2 God boys are youth XL - I ordered 6 and was going to send them each 2 - I went through the order 3 times, no youth XL - I sent an email to the company to advise and the response was again my fault and I must have not looked the order over should redo it - they claimed they did a piece count (no mention of size count) which totalled the correct amount ordered and I must have missed something. I responded with again, I went through the sizes 3 times and don't need to re look at it there are definitely no youth XL ( I am thinking they may have an extra 6 adult XL or something but haven't taken the time to look at the per count as I already gave a bunch out. What happened to customer service and a company taking some responsibility? I placed a $4800 order and believe me I was not trying to get 6 free sweaters I just wanted to get my God children the sweaters I promised them as I do it every couple years. Too bad

A few got back to me Giving me a ridiculous three week turnaround times. One told me my DST file would not work which was complete BS. Advance screen printing was the only company in Halifax that got back fast with a price and a no nonsense answer as a result they will get all of my business in the future.

After receiving 36…read moreof the first run of tank tops for my company I came to find out the the thick, stiff screen printing had cracked on the two tops I washed. When I went back in to Advanced Screen Printing the printer informed me that the reason this had happened was because ink had not cured properly. I expected them to replace my faulty order, but instead they advised me to collect the 20 tops I had sold and bring them back into to have them run through the dryer again. Eager to please my customers and avoid having their tops crack, I collected them all back up and had them out through the dryer, then returned them to each customer. I was assured that I would be 'taken care of' on my next order with them. When it came time to place my next order I was told I would be given $10 off of my $500 order to compensate for my inconvienence. I would never deal with this company again.

This city is FULL of different print shops. Some big, some small, some only do jobs that cost…read morethousands, some only do quick, cheap runs. Basically, having to choose a printer when already on a tight timeline meant turning to the internet for some recommendations which then led me to Halcraft on Robie. In the short few days that they worked on my project, there was just so much right going on. I could immediately tell they were happy to work to complement my style instead of forcing me into theirs. When I called, they called back. When I switched to email, they switched to email. When I threw a whole bunch of details their way in no particular order, they took what they needed out of it instead of insisting I fill out a form or speak their language. It made getting through the initial details a breeze and easily days faster than any other shop I've worked with. Plus, they weren't afraid to help me make choices when I really didn't know what I was talking about. Other shops have insisted I come in to leaf through their stock and make a choice - Halcraft asked what I was using each piece for and made recommendations for each based on my budget, saving me money wherever possible (i.e. 'you know you can save $80 by doing the cuts yourself, right?'). Proofs came a day or two later than I expected but then my entire job was finished the next day rather than a portion and the rest following the next week which is what I was told would happen. It was a nice touch to have that happy surprise to finish off the week!

I don't live…read morelocally, so I needed choose a printer sight unseen, email them my print file and then have the printing ready within three days. Halcraft not only gave me the most reasonable quote but also assured me that they could accommodate my quick turn around time. On Monday, I emailed them my file. On Tuesday, they sent me a proof for approval. And on Wednesday about noon, I received word that my job was ready. My print job looked beautiful, and the whole experience working with Halcraft was a pleasure. I give them my highest recommendation.
