This is my first time posting a review and I am writing this on behalf of my husband and me. Backstory We moved to Glendale several years ago and had no local dentist. I suddenly needed dental work. My wife and I went to several dentists, one after another, asking for an examination and price quote. The examinations revealed serious deterioration. Quotes ran from $10,000 to $25,000, One of the dentists giggled as she examined my mouth and whispered to her assistant, "Oh, this is so good!" I took that as an expensive sign. In the meantime, my wife had grown friendly with a couple of the neighborhood wives and one of them recommended Dr. Karapetian. My wife scheduled an appointment for me. The examination went well. Dr. Karapetian mentioned the items that "Dr. Oh-this-is-so-good!" noted, but he then subdivided the work into (a) immediate, (b) necessary, but not urgent, and (c) optional. That made me feel like Dr. Karapetian took my budgetary considerations into account when formulating a care schedule. That, I thought, was a good sign. Over time Dr. Karapetian resolved all the items revealed by the examination, and I've since been free of dental issues. Now Recently, a molar has been hurting and getting worse as time went on. I mentioned it to my wife yesterday afternoon, just after she observed that i was getting cranky and Lovingly brought it to my attention. She called Dr. Karapetian's office and I received an appointment the following morning, when he fit me in between other patients. How many dentists would do that? Dr. Karapetian's examination quickly isolated problem, which was discussed in appropriate depth. He then presented alternative treatments. I called on a Monday at 9AM to request an appointment for a tooth that needed pulled ASAP; and I was offered an appointment that SAME DAY at noon. I didn't have transportation so I scheduled for that Thursday. (I knew I needed tooth pulled because I was in so much pain). My sister told me I should go to see Dr. Oganes because he was her dentist before she moved and she absolutely loved him. Kool Dentistry's office is gorgeous and a comfortable environment. The colors on the walls are very soothing and I'm not mad at the massage dental chairs either. I really appreciated the type of X-ray machine they use; no more jamming a square grip in your mouth cutting your gums with No discomfort or pain. Dr. Oganes and ALL of his staff were very personable, caring and Very Thorough. I needed quite a bit of work done which they will do under IV Sedation and he and his staff made me feel at ease and confident in the work they would be doing on me. I tend not to go to the dentist as often as I should (hence all the work that I now need) because of my issues with anxiety and fear of pain. I got X-rays and fitted for a partial denture and they made sure the whole process was very comfortable for me. I had to schedule to have the tooth pulled because I am getting it done under IV Sedation along with some other work. I'm actually looking forward to going back to have all the dental work done. How often can you say that about a dentist. They were also less expensive than the other dental office. A big thanks to Dr. Oganes and all the staff at Kool. One time I was visiting California and one of our friends that leaves there recommended this office. I went to Kool Dentistry for some simple job. After that I liked it so much that I started flying from Dallas to Glendale to be seen by Dr. Karapetyan. Over a few years period I got multiple implants installed, but in order to do that I needed bone graft first. Dr. Karapetyan and all his team were very helpful, accommodating, honest and knowledgeable. I had some previous bad experience with dentists before and it took me some courage to commit and miracle happened. Nobody can guarantee that bone graft and/or implants are going to be accepted by the body and many factors are in play. My first attempt was futile, but Dr. Karapetyan did it again and it worked. He was kind enough to see me and do surgery on Sunday to fit my schedule. Long story short, for last few years me and my husband are looking for excuses to fly to Glendale and get our dental work done there. Once I stepped in to the "kool dentistry" I already felt positive energy coming from every single person working over there. Can't be happier than this to meet D octor himself. Oganess Karapetyan is a doctor who has everything I would wish for. His hands are made for this job. Extremely professional in every aspect of dentistry. I have been fixing my teeth since last year. It is a long process. Pul out teeth, bone graft, implants. I have to mention also he is very patient with me. Never cut me talking and telling his opinion first. He explains and makes sure patient understand. And more importantly at the end when you see result. It happened to me before with another doctors that spending so much time, money and going through so much pain I never got what I was wishing for. I, personally, walk out from his office as a happy patient and getting amazing results. This is the first yelp review I ever write and its because I think they are really worth it! I came in today to remove my wisdom tooth. I was pretty scared because it was the first time I had to get one removed and didn't know what to expect. First I must say they are so nice and welcoming. The dentist knows what he is doing and explained everything in detail before, during and after. And really super nice and with a sense of humor! I thought the procedure would be complicated and long and I would be swollen in bed for days but it literally took him less than 2 minutes. He has a lot of experience and knows what he is doing! I couldn't believe it. And so far im not swollen at all and it doesnt hurt. I should also add that my insurance doesnt cover this and I have never gone to the dentist in my 3 years living in LA for that reason so I was scared what this would cost me but had to get it done no matter what cause I was in pain. Well, let me tell you that I was surprise that the price was not bad at all. Very fair and good price! Will definitely come back if I need more dentist care. read more

Let me start off by saying AMAZING!!! When it comes to going to the dentist we all know that everyone fears from what's about to happen. Speaking from my experiences from past dentists , I hated going to one until it got to a point where I had no other choice. I came to the Dr. Karapetian a few years ago due to a swelling I had with no tooth ache. He immediately did a scan and X-ray in his facility , shortly after a few minutes he then told me I needed a sinus lift with bone graft and implant yikes!!! So my journey with Dr Karapetian began, I have already had so many surgeries and thank god to him I have had nothing but amazing results. Honestly every surgery went by so fast and not as painful as I imagined, he has a good sense of humor, makes sure I am always comfortable, and most importantly he has magic hands. My most recent implant he did was so painless I did not even take not one pain medication , I did not swell or bruise at all and most importantly healed less than a week with no visible stitches in my mouth. I've been having some long-term complications in the dental department. I've suffered with teeth loss due to tooth decay, disease, and injury. Complete anxiety has clouded my overall well-being for years. My friend recommended to see Dr. Oganes Karapetian about 6 months ago. I can't stress enough the level of professionalism and care that I've experienced upon our meeting and later work that he had performed on my teeth. I was offered an individualized treatment plan, which addressed my specific needs: bone grafting, healing, and implanting. Although the process took some 12 weeks, but the end-result exceeded all my expectations. Hands down would recommend this dentist office to anyone. Dr. Karapetian and his team removed my wisdom teeth and I had a meltdown and they were so sweet and understanding about everything and totally non-judgemental. I am really used to visiting dental offices where it feels like a really scary, cold experience where you don't know what's happening and you don't even feel like you can trust the person working on your teeth. This is the complete opposite with Dr. Karapetian. They are so warm and kind and make the environment feel extremely relaxed. Never waited longer than 10 minutes to be seen and always just felt really taken care of and comfortable. Definitely not the kind of place that is ever going to try to swindle you into paying for unnecessary procedures etc. I could go on and on. They're great. Go here. Very satisfied!!!!!! I am so relieved and happy I was referred to Dr. Oganes Karapetian by my Father . After being disappointed by so many dentists I was nervous about going to back to just any dentist.. .. But the moment I walked into Kool Dentistry I immediately felt comfortable and safe from the second I met Oganes Karapetian .. Oganes Karepetian is the best doctor I've ever met! I had a huge problem with my wisdom tooth for a few years. Different doctors suggested me to do a surgery, they did a bunch of X-rays, and then I was getting only refuses to do anything. In fall of 2020 I had a big abscess, so that I couldn't even eat, and after that, I still couldn't find any help because my situation was quite difficult. I lost my hope that I would ever be able to extract that tooth, and this pain will remain forever. Thank God I found Dr Karepetian. Dr Karepetian needed less than 10 minutes, including the injection process, to extract the problematic tooth with no issues at all! No blood, no pain, no stress, and no fear. The doctor was very friendly and professional. And his sense of humor was very helpful to relax :) I'm really grateful to this clinic, and I highly recommend their service! Very satisfied. read more

This dental clinic is the only one I trust. Whether it's a basic procedure or something significant, I will always choose them. Dr. Oganes Karapetian and his wife, Dr. Loussine Karapetian, are highly educated and knowledgeable about their craft. My entire family receives treatment at this dentist's office too. They are so professional, and most importantly, they make sure you feel no pain. I recently went for a very advanced root canal I needed, and I was so scared to have complications and pain, but Dr. Organes reassured me I would feel nothing, and he was right. I slept through the entire procedure. Also, the office and lobby are spotless, and the staff is very punctual with appointments. I went to get my bottom wisdom tooth removed the dr came in gave the shots and within 10-15 minutes it was done and my tooth was out with no trouble. He was chill about the procedure and explained the after care too me, he put my tooth in a bag and handed it too me and I was out and retired to normal living again. My only complaint is he didn't know what jiu jitsu was! when I asked him how long it'll take me too recover to start practicing he had no idea what i was talking about Over all - Chill guy does his job well I didn't have too wait long he numbed it enough that I was pain free during procedure and it's been 3 days and there's no sign of infection and I'm healing just fine. read more

I am so grateful to Dr. Karapetian and the entire team! I had a gum graft procedure before getting an implant, and I was honestly very nervous going in. To my surprise, everything went so smoothly -- the procedure was quick, completely painless, and the staff made me feel very comfortable the whole time. Thanks to Yelp I found Dr. Oganes and his wife. They are such great dentists and kind people. I cannot thank them enough for all of their great work. Kool is one of the few dental clinics in Glendale to offer IV sedation. This is important to me because I have a phobia for surgeries. The other oral surgeons only wanted to partially sedate me with meds or gas. That is not what I am looking for. I am looking to be completely out and only Kool Dentistry can do that. After the surgery I woke up not knowing anything- just the way I like it. Of course the next day later I was sore but not nearly as bad as I anticipated and that is because Dr. Oganes is a great dentist. read more

Absolutely awesome and caring staff, they are very thorough in explaining procedures and answering any questions that you may have. Dr. Oganes' work was FANTASTIC! He got me through my root canal that I was very nervous about. No pain or problems and the results definitely surpassed my expectations.
