This place is awful, and should be shut down. I am sad their convenience to the growing Brickell market will keep them in business despite their complete lack of care of animals. I was a loyal customer from the start. Grooming my rescue dogs mainly on weekends. Today was the first time I dropped off for grooming before work, at 8am, picking up at 6pm. After collecting them, my 2 newly cleaned dogs both soiled the car on the 2 minute ride home, and drank water upon arrival home as I've never seen before. It was obvious they were not walked or offered water during the 10 hours they were left for grooming. I complained immediately, and was told by the owner that this 'extra' service of relief walks and water would have required an extra day care fee. I would have paid the extra fee had I known. But I think this is reprehensible. Anybody who even cares just a little about dogs would offer them relief and water just to give them comfort. I'm disgusted. read more

Do not go to this place!!! I took my dog there for boarding for a week. They were supposed to give my dog a bath (as part I the boarding package) but they did not when I picked my dog up and the worst of all, my dog was infected by fleas because of the stay at this awful place. Gave it too many chances! We have taken our miniature pinscher here many times for day care and/or grooming. With day care, which seems to be simply putting the dog into the same pen as the dogs that have finished with grooming, we were never sure if or how often the dog was walked (based on his bathroom needs immediately upon getting picked up.) With the grooming, each time I got a different price. The most expensive had been $45, but when I questioned that I was told the price included the extra care of day care that day. I had requested that, so I understood and paid. Today, I dropped off the dog for grooming only, picked him back up within an hour or so, and was again charged $45. Although I can't compare that price to others in the neighborhood, it is about twice what I have paid at any other grooming place. The woman in charge ("owner") ultimately backed off on the price and dropped it to $35. I hope it was worth it to them to lose someone who, while not a weekly customer, was a regular customer. Great service and only a block from my condo. I recently moved here from Southern California and was worried after reading some of the reviews but luckily I had a great experience. My cat always looks fabulous after her bath and shave and she seems happier then ever. They also always fit me in even on busy days. Highly recommended! read more

They left my dog in a cage for FOUR HOURS before giving him a shower. They never notifed me they would do this! However, they always do a great job grooming. read more

Such great service!!!! Brought my doggy for the first time months ago and has been happy with their amazing crew and service ever since. I have used various pet care places but nothing compares with the great options like, day care, grooming and long term stay that K&K has to offer. All I know is that my doggie is always excited when he comes back to stay and looks amazing and happy when I come back to pick him up! Location is great, right in Brickell with easy access and street parking/pickup. in the morning I am always greeted by Franklin and my doggy loves him! The rest of the staff is always friendly and always attentive to any of "our" needs. Prices are fair considering the value that they offer. read more

I took my dog here for the first time and I loved the results. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. I have a five-year-old retriever mix and they had him totally bathed and groomed in just a few hours. The prices are comparable to other groomers I've used and they even threw in a free teeth cleaning. I'll definitely go back. read more

DO NOT take your dog here for grooming. I brought my two dogs in to get their nails cut and was met with rude workers who traumatized my dogs. When I walked in, I could hear dogs crying and yelping from the grooming room but couldn't see what's going on because of their opaque glass doors. This should have warned me off but one of the ladies came and whisked off one of my dogs. My dog came back 5 min later, frightened, with dog crap smeared all over her butt which ended up all over my hands and clothes. I had to ask to go into their grooming room to wash this off and saw dogs locked up in tiny cages everywhere, some which barely fit them, whimpering. They were already working on my other dog so I waited outside and when they came out with him, they charged me $50 because they said they had to express the anal glands because I obviously had not regularly done so. I told them that I didn't ask them to express them. They said it's something that's necessary and it was my fault for not regularly doing so. I've been to many different groomers and I've never been told this. Dogs release anal glands when they are scared and unless there is a sign of impaction/infection, regular expression is not necessary. My dogs have never had issues with them. To top it off, when I came home, I saw one of my dogs leaving bloody footprints everywhere because their nail had been cut to the quick. Please do not take your dog here if you care for them. They not only traumatized my dogs but were extremely rude about the whole process. read more

I am never going here again. I am going to look for a place that does not lie to me. If they are so willing to lie to customers, how are they treating my dog? How can I trust what I love the most with these people? The first time I went a couple months ago, the owner told me two hours and she would call me. Three hours later I came to the store and had to wait 30 minutes. I figured, it must have been a fluke. The same thing happened today. I walked in willing to make an appointment later in the week. The owner told me she could take him now and it would take "two hours - max." After two hours and thirty minutes, I called to check his progress. The groomer answered and told me that he just had a bath and there was one other dog ahead of him - the truth. What was he doing for the past two hours? Why lie to me and tell me two hours if it was going to be a while before he could be taken? I would have come back later or another day. So, three and one half hours later, I got my dog. I brought my dog home and found that the long hair around his ears was full of snarls and knots. When you go in there the dogs are screaming their heads off. I spoke to other dog owners in the neighborhood and they told they avoid this place. My dog gets sick in the car and I hoped to use this place because we can walk to it. My dog is exhausted from the stress. I guess if you work all day and need a place to drop your dog all day, they don't have to tell you a time range, I work from home. I have this place two chances. I am not giving them another. I suggest you don't give them any if you don't want your dog to sit around for hours. That was my experience -- twice. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone, First my wife made an appointment to have our dog bathed when I took our dog to the store it was closed, no phone call no nothing. The next morning I called and they were open and I dropped our dog off at 9:30 AM and I was told by the owner he would be ready in 30 minute but they would call me. Two hours went by and when I called they said it would be another 30 minutes. When I arrived at the store and asked for our dog they brought a dog which was the same breed and looked similar but I told her that was not my dog, but the owner insisted it was my dog and that I was wrong. Finally after a few minutes the owner took me in the back and there was my dog being bathed. I had to come again 30 minutes later to no apolgy no nothing. The back area was not well kept and it is obvious they do not have any systems in place to track the dogs or their owners. This type of incident has to make you wonder how they really run their business?? read more
