If you're looking for something different than your average cookie shop, Kooky's N Cream is absolutely worth the trip. Everything is made in-house, and you can really taste the difference. The cookies are exactly what the name promises--kooky combinations that somehow work perfectly! I tried the Peanut Butter Moon Pie, which was incredibly soft and moist with tons of peanut butter flavor and a generous layer of frosting in the middle. The Dubai Chocolate cookie was rich, deeply chocolatey, and just melted in my mouth. I also had a peanut butter cookie with a cheesecake filling that was absolutely delicious. Every cookie was fresh, soft, and packed with flavor. The shop itself is adorable. They serve ice cream, sell dessert-scented candles that look just like the real thing, and have benches out front under a tree where you can sit and enjoy your treats while taking in Lapeer's charming downtown. I love that the area is filled with locally owned businesses instead of chain stores. The staff was friendly, and they even have a punch card rewards program, which is a nice bonus. I paid about $25 for four cookies, so it's definitely a splurge, but the quality makes it worth it. My husband and I visited a few months ago and I got the Dubai ice cookie cream and it was delicious. The workers were very friendly also.

Their cookies are always tasty & reasonably priced for how large they are. They can be a little pricey for some but the massive size of them makes up for it bc when you think about it, some of them are like several cookies worth all in one giant cookie so it is definitely worth it even for the more expensive ones. My son loves coming here on occasion for a special treat and for special occasions. The birthday cookie is his favorite all year round. They do awesome seasonal cookies too that are always worth checking out in addition to their regular staples. read more

Loveeee Kookys n cream. I was a huge Crumbl fan until I tried Kookys n Cream. I've tried literally every cookie offered. The Kooky cream is phenomenal, but a little too rich for me so I go for the cookies. I love that they do monthly/seasonal specials and I'm especially obsessed with the banana split cookie being featured right now. They're inventive, fun, inviting and super involved in the community. Gourmet is the best word to describe this place. First time coming here and I came on a Friday night. There was a festival going on so the road was closed but they still were running things full swing. Staff was so nice and the place was clean. Only one table to really sit in but luckily it had ac inside there. I got the edible cookie dough, which was amazing kept me wanting more I also got a cookie but I couldn't eat it after having the edible cookie dough I had to wait a bit but so worth the wait. I got the birthday cake Cooke and it was exactly that. Reasonable priced as will. One of the best gourmet cookie joints. read more

They had only one type of sugar-free cookie available but it was pretty darn good. Hoping they come up with more of those to try soon. Location is nice, the area in general has a chill vibe to it. Somewhat pricy though. My kids enjoyed the superman cookie and my wife thought the pistachio one was amazing. I'm cutting down on carbs, so it was one sugar-free for me. I have to say, after a while of not having anything sweet or resembling something sweet, this hit the spot. Lightly salted, somewhat chewy and totally delicious. The cookies were ok I ordered them because I seen them all over Tik tok and I definitely feel like they are over hyped just taste like a normal cookie you could make at home. Wasn't as moist as they seem online mine were kinda crumbly. They were good I just don't think they are worth the price or the $9 shipping. It was good to try just wasn't that great to me. I've been to Kooky's N Cream a few times now and everything has been great! The Chocolate Peanut Butter Kooky was my favorite. It is a chocolate cookie with giant pieces of peanut butter fudge on top, what's not to love? I also tried the classic Chocolate Chip Kooky. It was baked perfectly, both soft and chewy. It has two kinds of chocolate chips in it, which puts a unique spin on a classic. The Cookie Cream is amazing! I've never had anything like it, it is a mix of 50% cookies and 50% ice cream. Think Cookies n Cream ice cream on steroids. I tried both the Chocolate Chip and Superman flavors and can't wait to go back and try some of the other flavors. I even ordered a cookie tray for a work meeting and everyone loved the variety. The Superman cookie was a hit with everyone. I will definitely be back when I visit lapeer! read more

Easily one of the most delicious dessert concoctions I have ever had. First off, the cookies here are great. The chocolate chip is my favorite. Second, who doesn't like awesome local ice cream. But really it's about the Cookie Cream. You have to try it. A super interesting blending of cookie and ice cream that is truly unique. P.S. My wife and boys love Kookys N Cream. We are absolutely addicted the their Birthday Cake Kooky Cream. My boys like to switch it up sometimes with the same rocky road or chocolate chip. I am a fan of their oatmeal cream pie cookies. We all think that the ratio of cookies and ice cream is spot on and is most definitely filling. read more

I'm glad that Kookys N Cream continues to perfect their cookie recipes, early on they were nothing to write home about. They are improving in taste and texture, but I still think the regular cookies are over priced. We are big fans of Toms Moms cookies and these are more expensive and lesser quality. Nonetheless we enjoy having a bakery downtown. read more
