We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms, which on the picture it showed seven when it showed up there were only five mushrooms. What was missing the most was crab meat it was a literally a bunch a shake on top of barely stuffed mushroom. Mostly fancy sauce and a ton of bread crumbs to hide the lack of crab....for $17! My wife ordered a sandwich which she enjoyed I think it was a Reuben made out of turkey and I ordered a signature Smash burger. We both ordered french fries that looked like they had been sitting in the basket most of the day because they were cold, and we're starting to shrink from sitting out. By the time we were done, my bill was $90 after tipping the waitress paying their 3% rip off fee. We both were expressing discontent as we left through the parking lot. It has been a while since I had breakfast there, which I never read them for and would've given them a five for that but this menu was not that menu.

I returned to Honcho for lunch with a group of friends yesterday, raving to them about how amazing the Chicken Tamale Pie is and how excited I was to get it. Unfortunately, the cornbread crust on my entree was burnt to a crisp, to the point that I'm shocked they allowed it to leave the kitchen. I don't like making a commotion and ate a few bites, but ultimately had to send it back. The waitress handled the situation very kindly and offered chicken tortilla soup as an alternate entree, to which I accepted and would rate a 6/10 (not a fan of dark meat chicken). I was pleasantly surprised to find that our waitress comp'd both of my entrees on the bill. I stood in line for my turkey trying not to snarf this amazingly delicious carmel corn. Turkey in hand I now had to stop on my way out and buy a whole bag of Will Cole Butter Pecan Carmel Corn. ($7 for an 8oz bag) That's about double the cost of a potatoe chip but oh so much better and so much more Michigan. This carmel corn is the real deal.
