The farm is relatively small, everything is small batch production where the onsite shop is the only place you'll find the vanilla products that come from the farm. They have a nice selection of their own products, such as lip balm, sugar scrubs, body lotion, and more. The tour was great, our guide was Aurora and she did a great job passing on some cool facts, stories, and jokes about vanilla. We learned a lot and had a good time! There's not much walking so sandals are okay, and most of the time we were seated in the shaded vanilla houses. At the end of the tour you get some delicious vanilla gelato made by Gypsy Gelato using Vanillerie's beans! You can try it with some of the savory salts and rubs, the vanilla salt was my personal favorite. Great spot to visit for the casual vanilla enjoyer!

Luckily, everyone loved it and walked away saying it was one of their favorite parts of the trip! Keith was our guide and is not only is he hysterical with his light hearted (and well timed) comedic injection, but he's clearly passionate about the farm and highly knowledgeable about the entire farm to shelf process. It was such a breath of fresh air and honestly, his delivery of the tour information is what kept everyone so engaged and interested. We were able to crack our own macadamia nuts and eat them fresh, tried 100% kona coffee and even learned how to taste chocolate like a real cocoa connoisseur! It was lovely and a highlight of our trip indeed. The gift shop was also great and had an awesome selection of chocolate to purchase and bring home to share with friends. As coffee lovers, Heavenly Hawaiian constantly came up in my research and I'm glad we toured for ourselves. The grounds itself are absolutely gorgeous and that view from the hill onto the ocean is unreal! I can't for the life of me remember our tour guides name but she was such a joy and extremely knowledgeable. Learning about the different coffee variants that are grown such as Kona typica, Progeny 502, and the "boujee girl" Geisha was awesome to learn about and see for ourselves. Did I mention endless coffee sampling? Such a relaxing atmosphere to sip all the coffee you want and enjoy that view. And the cutest cats on the property were such a delight mingling with the guests. All staff members were so helpful and they even treated us with a goodie bag of freshly picked fruits from the farm and a bag of peaberry bites (my new favorite) all as a thank you for paying a visit on our honeymoon! Was not expecting that all but such a sweet gesture! I would highly recommend Heavenly Hawaiian farms to anyone if you're on the Big Island or in the Kona area. We learned so much about what makes these coffee beans so special, from how they are grown and harvested to how they are processed and roasted. It gave me a whole new appreciation for every sip. This place is close to the airport and very easy to find. Our guide Carlos was awesome - very knowledgeable and funny. We learned a lot in the one hour tour. We also got to sample seaweed, sea grapes and abalone at the end of the tour. We went to the food truck afterwards. Service was quick and the staff were really nice. We ordered 1/4 lb of the garlic butter abalone and 1/4 lb of the chilli garlic abalone. Both were great. Sounds expensive but I will say that we had abalone in a similar proportion in Monterey and paid more than double what we did at Big Island Abalone. We already have plans to stop at the food truck again on our way through Kona later this well. Well worth visiting. A must if you love abalone.

Yes, it's a bit pricey, but YOU WILL NEVER HAVE SUCH TENDER ABALONE ANYWHERE ELSE!!! You need to stop by and try something off their menu. Garlic butter was our favorite, but my husband really liked the chili oil. The only thing I wished they offered - a summer camp for kids. I feel with such unique operations (go on the tour and learn about it), it's a great way to learn about sustainability, ecosystems, and more. Maybe someone will read my post and think about it. There is something to be said about the view and the fantastic coffee!!!! Wow was it top tier! It feels like a custom tropical treehouse. We sat around her concrete table as we sipped sample after sample of award winning Kona coffee. On the TV we watched a live feed of the volcano. It was such a genuine experience all the way through. She took the time to walk us around the farm and explain the entire process. So much effort goes into making such a delicious cup of coffee. This place is highly recommended. It has extremely limited hours so be sure to be mindful of that .

I was referred to Cornwell Coffee Company by a woman I met on the island whose daughter works…read morethere. A web search led me to Kona Premium Coffee Company (Cornwell no longer exists) and only a website and no purchasing information besides online/shipping. I had the business card so we drove to the Bishop Road location at 4:50 pm on a Wednesday as the office is open until 5 pm. All signs pointed to Heavenly Hawaiian Farms (not Kona Premium). Clearly not a store front and no one was in the office. We called and it went to the answering machine that we heard behind the office door. The next day I called as all the listings said the farm tour and tastings were by appointment only. I left a message and no one ever returned my call. The answering machine also lists a number of businesses so I'm not sure what's going on. Now, the plus side to this trip is on the way down the hill, there was an unstaffed roadside stand for Morning Glory Farms where I bought coffee ($20/half pound - great price) and some fresh fruit. Paid by Venmo, all was delicious.
