We were mesmerized by the beautiful surroundings that this place offers. Well, this might simply be
read morean understatement; I feel that this place deserves more sophisticated accolades than that. Tucked away in the mountains in the south Kona, we were lucky to stumbled upon this unique place. We toured one of its neighbor coffee farms only a few days before we went here so we didn't need to tour another farms. If you end up being in the same situation then go here just to sip some delicious coffee and tea samples and pick up some gifts/souvenirs but most of all, walk around the property to enjoy its stunning environment or just sit in one of the lawn chairs to read a book or quietly meditate. That's exactly what we did. The workers we interacted with were there to give you hospitality. They never force you to buy anything. We hadn't had coffee just yet as we went here mid to late morning so after sampling some coffees and teas we were going to buy some cups of coffee to truly drink a full cup but they didn't even let us; they gave us free of everything (from some complimentary cookies to nuts to munch. What a generous gesture that was!!) After that, we sat in the lawn chairs and spent at least an hour in the spacious yard that overlooks the ocean for some journaling and meditation. With the view and the nature that surrounded us, we were truly healed from inside out. We got to meet and pet all sorts of farm animals. While walking around, one of the female workers (who greeted us upon arrival) came and educate us on all kinds of tropical plants, trees and flowers. She was so personable to us where she truly wanted to get to know us. The hospitality is top-notch at this place. On top of the farm tour, tea ceremonies and coffee tastings they do, they also offer yoga (I think that's what she said), and (possibly) massages. This place is so much more than a typical coffee/tea farm. But most of all, its stunning 80-acre property is in itself a place for people to rejuvenate/recharge/meditate so they'll be refreshed in mind and spirit as they walk away from it. This is like everyone's dream place to work and live. You got to put this place on your "must visit" list while you are in Kona.

Lastly, the gift shop was amazing! Loved the coffee tastings, dried fruits, cookies, etc. Yenika was so nice and friendly. We wanted to buy everything! So glad we had some tasty souvenirs to take home!

Great Kona coffee in a wonderful casual atmosphere!
read more I had to meet up/interview a potential Big Island candidate in Kailua-Kona and I was basically looking for a casual place where I could meet, enjoy a drink, and have a little bit of conversation. Kona Coffee & Tea was the place of choice here in Kailua-Kona. Located at the Kona Coast Shopping Center, you can find this little coffee shop just next door from KFC. The coffee shop is easy to find, as other business surrounding this business is the KTA Superstore, Hele Gas Station, HFS Federal Credit Union, O'Reilly Auto Parts, as well as many numerous eateries. It was late in the afternoon, so I basically came here for some drinks. I had to try their Kona Coffee, and I must say it did not disappoint! The coffee shop has indoor, as well as covered outdoor seating. The shop does sell some food items, but I did not partake or looked at what they had to offer. There was also coffee shop merchandise, but I did not have time to take a look at what they had to offer. Overall, as great coffee shop and if I'm in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for their wonderful coffee.

Kona Coffee & Tea really makes it a point to articulate that their coffee is 100% Kona coffee. For
read morethat reason, some of their drink offerings are priced accordingly, with a 12 oz medium pour over costing $10. Unless you're a coffee connoisseur, you may want to skip the pour over for something a bit less special to save yourself a few dollars. The coffee was fine, but my unrefined palette was not able to fully appreciate the cup of brew. In terms of atmosphere, Kona Coffee & Tea has plenty of seating outdoors around the porch and a few high tables indoor, where they have AC blasting at full strength. They have free Wi-Fi available as well, so I saw a lot of people posting up on their laptops. Parking is plentiful and easy to find since this coffee spot is located in a strip mall. If you have a discerning palette for the subtle flavors that show up in different coffee beans, you will definitely want to stop by for a cup.

This was one of my favorite moments from our recent visit to Hawaii. I swear that we were
read moreliterally treated like ohana. Leslie and her small staff were so kind and welcoming. There is something to be said about the view and the fantastic coffee!!!! Wow was it top tier! It feels like a custom tropical treehouse. We sat around her concrete table as we sipped sample after sample of award winning Kona coffee. On the TV we watched a live feed of the volcano. It was such a genuine experience all the way through. She took the time to walk us around the farm and explain the entire process. So much effort goes into making such a delicious cup of coffee. This place is highly recommended. It has extremely limited hours so be sure to be mindful of that .

My favorite was the SL34 and I purchased a purchased a pound and half of it. After the tastings, we were taken on a tour around the farm and processing areas and it was so great to see Leslie treat the workers with love and respect. It was genuinely the best coffee farm we had been to...and we've been to several! The view is beautiful as well. The hours are extremely limited so make sure to make plan to come.

My husband and I spent 6 days on the Big Island for our honeymoon and we knew we wanted to embrace
read morethe culture and explore the Kona coffee country. As coffee lovers, Heavenly Hawaiian constantly came up in my research and I'm glad we toured for ourselves. The grounds itself are absolutely gorgeous and that view from the hill onto the ocean is unreal! I can't for the life of me remember our tour guides name but she was such a joy and extremely knowledgeable. Learning about the different coffee variants that are grown such as Kona typica, Progeny 502, and the "boujee girl" Geisha was awesome to learn about and see for ourselves. Did I mention endless coffee sampling? Such a relaxing atmosphere to sip all the coffee you want and enjoy that view. And the cutest cats on the property were such a delight mingling with the guests. All staff members were so helpful and they even treated us with a goodie bag of freshly picked fruits from the farm and a bag of peaberry bites (my new favorite) all as a thank you for paying a visit on our honeymoon! Was not expecting that all but such a sweet gesture! I would highly recommend Heavenly Hawaiian farms to anyone if you're on the Big Island or in the Kona area. Absolutely worth the trip up the hill and to feel the aloha from the staff and grounds.

Heavenly Hawaiian Coffee Farm was such a highlight of our time on the Big Island. The tour struck
read morethe perfect balance between educational and fun, and I walked away feeling like I truly understood the journey of Kona coffee from the very beginning all the way to the cup in my hands. The land itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that make you want to linger a little longer and soak it all in. You can tell how much care and pride goes into everything they do here. We learned so much about what makes these coffee beans so special, from how they are grown and harvested to how they are processed and roasted. It gave me a whole new appreciation for every sip. And Ben, our tour guide, was incredible. So charming, so knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made the experience engaging and memorable from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour if you are anywhere near Kona. It is an experience you will not forget.

Very friendly, video they showed us was so informative explaining the entire growth harvest and

I'd give their *chocolate* a solid 5/5 - they're quite pricey, but all high quality craft chocolate

They have samples of everything out in their gift shop, and they're doing some pretty fun stuff - we absolutely bought a couple bars (as usual, I liked the darkest and my wife liked the lightest chocolate the most, but they were all quite good.) I'd give the *tour*, which they only do a couple times a week, so we had to adjust our schedule a bit to make it to one, a 4/5. It was interesting, but you don't actually get to see any chocolate being made, a lot of it was just discussion (albeit: discussion while standing in a production cacao orchard - I'd never actually *seen cacao trees in person, they are pretty cool! Cool, but also full of spider webs.) They also cut open a fresh, ripe, not-processed-yet cacao bean at the end of the tour, and we got to try a little bit (it's delicious - sweet and fruity, nothing like chocolate. I wish we'd gotten to eat a bit more of it, honestly.) It was an interesting tour, not sure it was worth the extra planning it took to be there for it though - other than the fresh cacao fruit, you don't get anything you can't also try in the gift shop any time of day.
